I don’t take no for an answer.

Women are the world’s most intoxicating prize, and I always win. Money? Check. Charm? Check. Looks? Double check.

It’s a winning combination, and I never settle. I can’t even remember the last time any woman—in New York, Paris, Rome, it doesn’t matter—looked me in the eye and turned me down.

Until Juliet James.

I swear she eye-f*cked me from across the club, practically begging me to take her home and make her moan my name. So I offered her the world, positive she’d accept.

All she offered me was a view of her mind-blowing curves while she walked away.

I don’t lose, and now I’ll stop at nothing to make her mine.

Nothing is ever really free—especially not from Weston Grant.

Just because he’s the sexiest man in New York City, with a body like cut marble underneath a perfectly fitted suit, he thinks I’ll say yes to anything.

He’s not exactly wrong. When he approaches me at work with a proposition, Lord knows I want to say yes to that smoldering gaze and that cocky smirk. But I’ve got rules, and I’m not going to break them for some fling.

I don’t take free money—not from Weston, and not from anyone. Not even when he offers to take me to his penthouse and make me come so hard I forget my own name.

No matter how much I want to…

Shameless Kiss is a steamy billionaire romance with adult language, no cheating, and a happily ever after that will melt your heart.

'meh'... I'm afraid that the billionaires in this series aren't well built. They're supposed to be playboys, but the minute they met the FMCs, they become clingy teenagers 🙄

The story is quick, the writing too simple. It was kind of cringe to read "juices" all the time...there are more words that can be used to express how excited the FMC is!

Contemporary Romance Challenge 2024. Kobo+. Tropes: Billionaire,
I think I enjoyed this one the most out of the three I have read so far in this series.

Review I liked:Another great read in this series! Amelia Wilde knows just how to keep each of her billionaire stories different from the others! In Shameless Kiss, we have Weston Grant, who never takes no for an answer, and Juliet James, who is determined to not depend on anyone but herself. They cross paths first at the upscale club where she's a waitress, and Wes can't get her out of his mind. When he sees her again a few days later at the law school where he's appearing as a guest speaker, he refuses to let another chance slip away.

Despite her determination to not let Weston in, Juliet is more or less forced to let him know about her financial troubles due to her father's residence in a retirement home. So Weston, who sees something different in Juliet than the other women he's been involved with, proposes a two-week relationship in exchange for paying for her father's care. At the end, Juliet can walk away.

But OF COURSE, that isn't what happens, because Weston and Juliet fall in love before the two weeks is over. So when "the conflict" happens, how will they be able to reconcile their differences?

Shameless Kiss just may be my favorite book yet in this series. Weston's grand gesture to win back Juliet is definitely swoon-worthy, and he even gets her cantankerous father to lighten up by the HEA epilogue.

❤💛❤

Oh my goodness! Juliet and Weston were so fun and cute! I couldn't get enough of them. I loved how Juliet always wanted to do everything on her own but Weston had other ideas. They definitely understood each other and were absolutely perfect for one another! I was so happy that they got their happily ever after. ❤

I enjoyed this book. I liked them, Weston was a bit more likable.

Juliet was independent and I liked that she let no one and nothing bring her down. However, I think her stubbornness was a bit too much. The woman needed help, but her pride was too much. Sometimes, you have and need to let people in and support you. No one can go through life all alone.

I didn't understand their argument or why Juliet felt the need to push Weston away. Her father was, unquestionably, dement. He wasn't himself anymore and all that Weston tried to do was to get her out and protect her. I would have done the same. No matter if he was her father, or just a stranger. Weston's first instinct was to get himself in front of her and shield her. I never thought he treated her as "property", that was not the case. All he did was respect her and try to be by her side, even when she pushed him away on and on and on. I also didn't find the way her father "healed'' to be any kind of believable. But I was very happy with how they solved their problems. In the end love won!

I love Amelia Wilde books, I haven't been disappointed by one yet and this book was just as good as the others.

She writes strong heroines, I loved Juliet and her determination to be independent. They are also real heroines, struggling with life but doing their best and staying true to their values. I'm sure you can tell that I liked Juliet. The heroes are usually a little arrogant, supremely confident and damn hot and Weston was all that and more. I would have liked Juliet to knock him down a peg or two more, but then I also wanted her to get her guy and be happy, so I guess compromise has to be made somewhere. Weston did have some questionable ethics/morals around his acquisition of other businesses, but having Juliet open his heart to love and all things good seemed to produce a changed man .... which was a good thing otherwise I might not have liked him quite so much.

I love that although the books are about hot, alpha male, billionaires and feisty women they have to win over, they are all unique and in each book the characters do feel new and different. The author's writing is good, the plot is interesting, has good twists to it and a fast enough pace to hold your interest but not too fast it loses you.

The chemistry between Juliet and Weston was well portrayed and I also got that she didn't want Weston paying for everything - heck she hadn't known him that long and whilst he IS a billionaire would you really be comfortable with a virtual stranger doing that for you? What I do love about these books is that I find them effortless to read (in a good way), how steamy they are and just how good I feel when I read them.

Juliet James is trying to put herself through law school, fund her father at an upscale retirement home, and pay for her rent, food, books, transportation, etc. all on the tips she makes at an exclusive restaurant called The White Rose. Tips in expensive restaurants can be very good, but are they really good enough to fund all of her needs. Oh yes, she needs a classy wardrobe to wear at The White Rose.

One night a group of obviously extraordinarily wealthy men come in for dinner and Juliet is assigned to their table. Weston Grant is enchanted by her immediately, but she refuses him a date, twice.

The next day, a guest speaker is to address the first year law students in the school that his mother founded. He immediately sees her in the front row and for at least a minute is speechless. He finally gets her to agree to have lunch with him. From there, their relationship develops both emotionally and sexually. I loved the romance of this book. It was the perfect way to end my day. I had previously read Fearless Kiss and it too was a delightful romance.

I'm not quite sure how she manages to get through her first year at law school missing soo many classes, nor how she keeps her job at The White Rose calling in to skip her work shift and put extra burdens on others, but okay It's still a Great Romance. Enjoy! On to the next book in this series.

Juliet James is a waitress at an exclusive club that caters to the rich! Working her way through law school and paying for her father to live in an assisted living center is taking everything Juliet has and all her time! Weston Grant is a playboy billionaire who reluctantly goes to the club that Juliet works at with a friend of his to attend another friends bachelor party! When he sets eyes on Juliet he is completely smitten and definitely interested in her! Juliet knows who Grant is and tries not to be impressed with his hotness! When he asks her out twice, she turns him down both times and now he's obsessed with her because women always want him and his money! He bumps into Juliet at her college, where he is a guest speaker! They're both surprised to see the other but Weston is happy because now he has another chance to spend time with Juliet. He convinces her to have lunch with him but an emergence comes up with her father. These 2 have chemistry and a connection and Juliet can only fight it for so long before giving in and having the time of her life! Can these 2 have a HEA with so many obstacles in the way? Read the book and find out!

Shameless is Right

I really don’t know where or how to begin. Amelia Wilde’s “Shameless Kiss” got buried in the Kindle Unlimited shuffle somehow and I’m wishing I hadn’t unearthed it. The main characters are handsome billionaire playboy, Weston Grant who is also in lust at first sight with first year law student/cocktail waitress Juliet James. That is brainy and beautiful Juliet of the sassy mouth and requisite tough exterior. You can see where this is going - to a plot so thin that two days later I can’t remember what it was about but what I can recall is whatever plot is there is propped up with heavy-duty graphic sex scenes. Those aren’t objectionable per se, but there’s just not much else here. If you removed the heavy sex you wouldn’t have enough material for a decent length novella.

But what truly annoyed me is the author’s over-the-top use of italics. Say what? Yes! It was so distracting I started highlighting them for a total of - wait for it - 799 TOTAL italicized words and/or sentences! Can you say overkill? I realize my rating goes against the majority but like the umpire said, I calls ‘em like I sees ‘em.

When billionaire Weston goes to a friends bachelor party he never expected to meet the woman of his dreams. Or that she would be his waitress for the night. Or that his charm wouldn’t work on her.

Juliet was working her way through law school while trying to pay for her dad’s medical bills when she meets Weston. Although she is instantly taken by him, the club she works at caters to these rich men and she’s seen more of that then she wants.

But Weston is persistent and discovers what is happening in her life. Trying to make things easier on Juliet, Weston pays for her dad’s bill. Leading Juliet to accept a two week dating period before deciding how to pay Weston back.

Enter a whirl wind romance. On their last night together, Weston admits that he wants more than two weeks with her. And the decide to more forward before both their stubborn personalities come out.

Juliet and Weston get their HEA in this stand-alone book that is a part of a series.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Oh Weston Grant... little did you realise that your first meeting with waitress and law student Juliet James will change your life forever. That first look, he is totally mesmerised by her. The problem being , he usually gets what he wants but with Juliet he sure has his work cut out. I loved the relationship between Weston and Juliet. The chemistry is off the charts and she totally blows his mind. Juliet has worries, working of an evening, studying to be a lawyer, caring for her dad and now....this hot , sexy man Weston Grant comes along, knocking her for six. A fantastic story of love, family issues and a battle of wills between Weston and Juliet but in a nice way. A fantastic read. Loved it.

Strong characters

Very strong, independent characters in this one!! Juliet James, law student and waitress at an elite club called "White Rose". Juliet is used to serving those with way too much money, but she needs the higher tips to be able to afford the nursing home she's had to place her father into.

Weston Grant is one of those billionaires that takes what he wants and now that he has stepped into the White Rose, Juliet is what Grant wants.

What is meant as an agreement for two weeks turns into more than Juliet or Weston planned on. Read the book to find out what could possibly tear them apart.

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I have read a few other books by this author. Juliet is trying to go to law school and working as a waitress at the White Rose. She needs to make money to pay her father's doctor bills. That is how she meets Weston. He asks her out and it takes him awhile to wear her down. She said no many times before agreeing to go with him.  They do have a connection but a misunderstanding by Wes forces them apart. Can they over come this misunderstanding? You will have to read and find out.

This was a worthwhile read as the first 2 books. However, I struggled a bit on Juliet's disposition. She was so strong at the start with all her plans set ~her job, her studies and taking care of her dad and then she caves to Weston so fast and then felt depressed to be called a whore. I think that whichever you look at it, taking something from a man in exchange for being "his" for 2 weeks that resulted to a lot of sex can be perceived as prostituting oneself. I enjoyed the story but kept wishing there was a different twist beginning at the time Weston found out about Juliet's dad.

I absolutely loved this book!! Juliet was a very strong heroine that I loved from page 1. She's not a pushover, and that's why I liked her (as did Weston, obviously!). Weston was his usual arrogant self until he realised it couldn't be business as usual with Juliet James.

I enjoyed the plot of the book - you will, too - and genuinely look forward to reading the others in the series.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.

Amelia Wilde has blown me away once again. I am really loving this series. I didn’t think it could get better, but it did with Grant and Juliet. I absolutely adored her. Her stubbornness and drive was inspiring. His as well, just in a different way. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes a steamy and sweet romance. Happy Reading!

It Began As A Game

What started as a game for both Weston, a billionaire pharmaceutical magnate, and Juliet, a law student who is also responsible for the rehabilitative care of her ailing father, turns into much more than either had planned. This well developed story is definitely worth the read if you enjoy this genre, as it provides some of everything that makes for a good romance.

A waitress who is saving desperately to keep her father in an upscale nursing home, whilst she is doing first law studies.
At her job, at a high end club, she avoids a billionaire who she has attracted the attention of.
Off course, Weston Grant, the billionaire concerned, is used to a woman telling him no.
The next encounter is surprising, but so is the total story.
Well worth the read, if you into billionaire romance fantasy.

Shameless Kiss was fine. I listened to the audio book, so I don't know if I feel "meh" because the narrators were kind of lifeless or if the story was off. Others have shared the plot. Frankly, I was irritated with Juliet because she seemed so powerful at the beginning and quickly fell apart regarding anything to do with Weston. It was frustrating and made me like her less.

Sadly, I probably won't remember this book a few months from now.

I know why you had to get out from under my thumb.

Weston flies through women. Gets what he wants and moves in. Juliet is different. He'll make any deal just to get close to her. This Kiss book is better than the last. I loved Juliet's character and Weston was hot, hot, hot!! Great read! Enjoy!!!

I liked the characters in this book. Two very stubborn people drawn to each other but resisting all the way. Weston is a take charge guy that no one says no too. Juliet is independent, relies on no one but herself and she says no to Weston not once but twice. Sparks fly! There's a lotvof tension and a little conflict but all in all a great love story

I really loved this romance! Juliet is my kind of heroine; smart, sassy, and has a true sense of herself. Weston is an unlikely hero, a man who finds in Juliet an equal he didn't even realize he needed. The writing is brilliant, drawing the reader into the story immediately and holding strong all the way through to the HEA.

Weston and Juliet were the perfect match. Him being the bold, alpha billionaire and her with her independence and drive to put herself through law school while also taking care of her dad. I loved how she was able to let go of some of her deep instilled control and lose herself into Weston. I'm off to read Ruthless Kiss!

Passionate, sensitive and well written.

Love, love this story and the strong characters, Juliet and Weston. She is a law student, a cocktail waitress and a loving daughter. He is a successful entrepreneur who is enjoys playing the field. This is a standalone romance that stirs the emotions, is sexually charged and is wonderful journey of self discovery.

Caregiver

I chose 5 star because it reminds me of other women's today trying to go to school and take care of love one especially patrient .but sometimes it the care giver that go without and it's not good to make someone feel guilty when then feel they are doing the right thing or because they accept help.from someone
