When Rita's ex-boyfriend dragged her outside of reality, she was shattered across four timelines. Now she's got to pull herself together before a hive mind can assimilate the entire planet.
The parallel storylines was interesting, but often confusing. If I hadn’t read the blurb on the back of the book, I would have been pretty lost.
What I enjoyed most was the art/media. The (literal) long format of the book was a solid choice for expressing the action. I also liked the black-on-black and white-on-white printing, even if it sometimes made the text difficult to read.
read this for my women studies class on queering science fiction and i will say that even if i was lost in the beginning, i really ended up enjoying this story
