Interesting I just couldn’t connect with the characters because there was nothing really there to get to know them. I thought we’d get a better understanding when Empress told Hamin what was going on with her but still nothing. Hopefully the next one will shed some light on what’s going on.

Listen I can't wait to read part 2. Empriss is really something else. I love her character. She's such a boss. I hope that it's her and Hamin until the wheels fall off. The way he loved her son as if he was his own was such a turn on. He was heaven sent. But can we talk about why the hellher no good behind ex is still alive. I think it's deeper than what we think. I think something happened that has his memory actually gone. But baby whatever it is, she better not go running back to him. I can't wait to read part 2.

Good read!
I need part 2 right now! This book was sooo good with all the twists and turns. It kept you guessing about what would happen next. I love Hamin and Ace!! I really hope Empriss doesn't betray Hamin, even though Jaiyce has shown up.

What..the..hell..was..that!😳😳😳
I must say this was a very good read. The storyline was great and it was well written. I love the plot and I must say I didn't see that coming..even though all the evidence was there. Good work covering that up! This book held my interest from beginning to the end and kept me engaged and entertained. Khalil, khalil..sneaky sob! Waiting for part two!....like yesterday!

So this is my first book I've read by this author and oh my.!! I'm usually really good with guessing what's going to happen next, but let me just say I had no idea with this ending. Such a great read I hope she doesn't take to long with part 2!

That Hamin is something else. Everything about him screams boss. Empiress has dug herself into a hole that i don't think she will be able to get herself out of at this point. I am looking forward to part 2 because I can't wait to see how everyone is tied together.

Definitely worth the read 🙌🏾
The secrets on this book are slowly coming out & that cliffhanger tho, I definitely wasn't expecting that at all! Harming is such a great dude and I hope Empress realizes that before she loses him. I can't believe how this book played out! I definitely will be reading book 2.
