Stinkwaves is rated PG-13 , as we don't publish stories (or poetry) not suitable for a younger audience. We want your grandparents to enjoy the magazine as much as your middle school or high school aged son or daughter. Stories can sometimes deal with social issues, but you will also find humorous stories, magic and folklore, along with some wonderful (and sometimes silly) poetry, plus some really cool art work.

Nichole is an editor for Stinkwaves, a YA literary magazine, and the full-time mom of two children who keep her on her toes and inspire her to stay young at heart. She has been an avid reader since childhood, and still prefers young adult books to any other out there, except maybe Jane Austen.
