Caring for a vampire is a dirty job, but Georgia Sutherland is just the woman to do it. As the go-to gal for her recovering master, she has everything a girl can dream of--except for the man that she loves, Ren. Still, Georgia refuses to give up hope. For a chance at bliss, she's willing to risk rekindling her relationship with a rival vampire family.

Meanwhile, halfway across the country, Paige DeMarco has given up her old name and her old life, and finally found a man worth her time. Unfortunately for her, werewolf relationships aren't as simple as she hoped, especially when her vampire ex rolls into town.

Both women have to face the facts: once you get involved with vampires, life becomes complicated. As their lives intertwine, ghosts of the past rise up to haunt them. The only question is, can there ever be a happily ever after for those entangled with the undying?

R. E. Carr likes to split her time between the alien (well, resident alien) she married, her two adorable offspring and the vast army of characters who constantly argue in her brain. She uses her past life as a video game reviewer to remind herself just how awesome it is to be writing novels now.

Rachel writes because she knows so many people and places that never quite made it into this version of the universe. It's her duty to let them out. Writing also gives her mind a certain peace and calm rarely felt in this multi-tasking, wired world.

This series is great. It is inventive, humorous, scary, full of twisties you don't expect, and all around a great read.
I've been taking it slow until more books come out ... I couldn't stand the wait until the next book and want my instant gratification.

This was a story I loved to hate. I am not going to lie, I had a huge swath of mixed emotions as I went through the third entry in the Rules Undying series. Everything from laughing, to anxiety, to sadness, to outright anger. The sign of a good author is one that can keep you enthralled throughout a story. The sign of a great author is one that can make you feel all of these emotions in a single story.

Mrs. Carr is definitely the latter of the two. Never before have I wanted to reach out to an author and strangle them while shouting "WHY?!?!?!?" I had to pull over on my way home from the hospital after a certain scene in the book hit me. I wasn't sure what to do with myself because of the emotions it brought out. The scene was so unexpected that I had to gather my thoughts. The scene I am speaking of was one of three that got to me, emotionally. The second involved Jeffrey at the ball and the third was the ending.

The narration for this series has involved 200-fold since I first listened to Four upon its first release. The ONLY complaint I have right now is that there isn't a pause between scene changes (Georgia to Paige or Paige to Georgia). They just flow right together and I had to skip back a few times to make sure I hadn't missed the transition. Other than that, Alejandra worked some awesome magic into this story. I absolutely love her Kyle, Mr. Lambley (of course - especially in the scene where you could tell he was heartbroken), and BAM-YIN LUNG!!! Bam Bam was easily my favorite character in this part of the series. Loved him and the narration Alejandra put towards him.

This was the best entry in the series so far and I can't wait to move on to Point One Five. Very well done, Mrs. Carr and Alejandra!

Wow, what a ride! Book 3 of Rules Undying series gets the whole gang together!

While Four taught us the 4 laws, and Six was the Six werewolves, Ten works almost all the characters Carr has introduced us to into a tumultious climax of family drama gone legendarily supernatural.
While there are a few times the back and forth between the Georgia\Paige teams was confusing, it all did the part to keep you reading this page turner of a book.
R.E. Carr has written a book that is darn near impossible to put down.
There are unanswered questions, and it looks like we have much more to look foward to from this author. But I don't have to tell you this since you have probably read books 1 and 2 of this series.

In book 3 of the Rules Undying trilogy... (wait, it's a series now, Alright!)
Rachel brings together 4 and 6 ( Which added together make Ten, but Ten is also a plot point that moves us beyond just 4 and 6. Clever play on words, and trust me, you'll love it!)
There's the reuniting of long lost friends and FAMILY! People are double-crossed and stabbed in the back (metaphorically...) and in the front.

Between the snappy dialog, rich descriptions and the amazing way Rachel has woven this tapestry of a book it is a VERY enjoyable read. There's a couple more stories on the way, but for now, we have a nice book to get us up to speed on most of our favorite characters from 4 and 6.
Support original authors and read it. You'll love it.

Loved the series

I've really loved this series. I know this book hasn't got the same love as the first two but I actually liked the back and forth between Paige and Georgia. I liked that I couldn't figure out what was Merlin's plan even though clues were everywhere. I read all three books in two days and hoping there is more couldn't put them down.

Well now our two stories combine and Paige and Georgiana meet. It's not surprising that the ultimate goals for these two characters converge and we also see them ultimately merge into a combined group.

Once again, I have to say that the combination of Arthurian legend and this paranormal world is done so well and seems to make sense. I am blown away by this world.

Even better!

I read before I go to sleep, so I ended up staying awake way too late because I couldn't put Book 3 down. It was the best book so far in the series. Thank you for another great read.

R.E. Carr continues to tell this amazing story of vampires, werewolves, and now the Arthurian connection. There are times when you will scream at this book and cry, which makes it the best so far in the series.

I absolutely loved this book and found it extremely hard time putting it down.
When you know vampires….You just know something big is going to happen. This is the case with Georgia Sutherland and Paige DeMarco.
While Ren is still looking for a cure, Georgia keeps up hope that there is something that can be done to save him. When Ren goes away for a treatment Georgia still has to care for her recovering Vampire master.
Paige DeMarco has everything she could ever want... family, friends and a man worthy of her! When her vampire great-grandpa Steve comes to town things get a little “Hairy”! Paige’s grandpa comes up missing while he’s dying and the family is in a panic…that is except for Steve!
What do you do when you get an invitation to a vampire ball? Well you just Have to go of course! When both women meet they realize that once you know vampires…life as you know it changes!
To find out what happens to Ren, Georgia, Paige, the werewolf gang and Steve you’ll have to read this fantastic hard to put down book! Thank you R.E. Carr for writing this book and keeping us fans in suspense wondering what else could possibly happen to these characters we have fallen in love with! Can’t wait for the next book to come out!
If you want a great book and don't know what to read then I really recommend that you give the Rules Undying series a chance! I don't think You will be disappointed!

Rules Undying Book 3. Yes its a series! Wow.
Honestly if you thought you knew all about Vampires and Werewolves before, well think again. The heroines from 4, Georgia Sutherland, and 6 Paige DeMarco (Carmichael), finally meet and bond. Or have they met before?
Still caring for the pathetic and pitiful Mr Lambley, Georgia is off on further adventures of the Vampiric kind, still madly in love with Ren, and pursued by the equally cheeky but odd Steve DeMarco, she learns more of her gift and her place in this world. Paidge meanwhile is trying eveything in her power to understand and deal with the fact that Lorcan has invaded her mind, and she doesnt know how.
With a climactic showdown which equally shocks and intrigues, this is another wonderful adventure in the world of the undying, and the barely alive.
