Poor Lyrical was dealt a hell of a hand so early in her life. I cannot fathom the pain she went through, trying to navigate such a huge loss! Thank God for her Uncle Remy, who swept right in and took care of her like his own. Her trauma suppressed her memories of that fateful night, and Remy was itching for her to remember; so he could "handle" them! Lyrical seeing Legend at the park was just plain fate! It was like when their eyes met, they felt something before they even spoke to each other. Bonding over their shared loss, and their genuine connection made their love adorable to see unfold. That damn Pope was as evil as they come! Glad he got what was coming to him. The only thing that I wondered about, was why was the detective at Remy's house close to the end? How did they get her to leave willingly? Good read! 👍👍👍

This was so nice 😊!!!
I don’t usually read young couples live because it tends to be too immature and childish but the way this author pen this story, it was cute, edgy, and beautiful with a dose of maturity suited for this age group.
First time reading this author and it wasn’t bad at all specially reading this YA.
Lyrical was so sweet so down to earth and Legend who was a playboy, ended up returning his player card and became this one woman devotion man and this was where the cutest thing ever to read.
This was again a nice refreshing story and I can’t wait to read another story from this author

True love
Oh lord, I cried so much in this book. This was an awesome read from beginning to the end. It was a shame that Pope was able to kill her parents and go on with life like nothing happened. Legend was my favorite character, to be young he knew what love was. He showed Lyrical how much he really loved her. I was disappointed that the cop Patience was never exposed for keeping Pope up on what was going on. Excellent job, so glad that they got their happy ending. Remy kept his promise to his brother and looked out for Lyrical.

A Good Read.
This is a very enjoyable read. The characters are well developed. The storyline has everything that a good read should have. Lyrical and Legend both has been dealt a bad hand at a young age and just when they think that they have fought happiness with each other all Hell is about to break loose with the discovery of how Legend Uncle Pope is connected to Lyrical. Can't wait to read the next installment.

Too young to really enjoy
Lyrical came off as a bit slow, being ten when everything happened didn’t help that she acted more like a 6-year-old. I thought for sure once she saw her uncle the only thing her father said would come back to her. All the extra characters didn’t help the story either because nothing happened the entire read to need them. This was okay but too young to really enjoy it or want to follow along.

Lyrical and Legend
This was a great read! I couldn’t put it down! I’m glad Pope and his goon got what they deserved. Gave and Regina death was scary and tragic. Uncle Remy and aunt Serina are the truth! I love them as well. Lyrical and Legend are one of my favorite book couples and I gave a few of them. I’m glad Legend believed Lyrical about everything that she told him. I suggest that you read this book, you’ll never be able to put it down. I love black love!!!!

I hate when stories end suddenly
So now I'm heading straight into 2 because this is where it's about to get real. Poor only showed up to see the kid that he didn't know he missed. Something always happens when you been doing wrong and start thinking you are invincible. My,my,my can't wait to see how it's going down

I thought Legend & Lyrical had a wonderful beginning even though they shared similar grief. I can only hope Legend will keep his thought processes positive in remembrance of his mom, & not lead Lyrical down the wrong love road. Great storyline with an exciting ending.

Man now this was good. Lyrical OMG I wish you could remember the name Pope as your Dad was trying to tell you. Legend just might harm his uncle. Uncle Remy going to go crazy. Sure is ready for part 2. Lady Lissa thumbs up!!

I can't wait for pope to get what he deserves killing the whole family he is cold hearted. But the kicker is he still doing business with Remy as if nothing is wrong he knows Remy don't play that . pope pissed me off with his coldblooded behind

This book is on Fire!
I definitely loved this book. My heart went out to Lyrical. No child should have to lose his or her parents. Also, this will be added to my Recommended Reading List.

Wow wow. I really enjoyed this read!! Lady Lissa never disappoint me. Omg I'm so speechless right now. Lyrical just got bombed on her birthday. Legend is a real stand up guy. He is straight forward and to the point. He's not afraid to say how he feels about anything. Pope better run, looks like everything has come full circle.. I can't wait for him to get his! I'm waiting on part two of this!!!

A very thick plot
A very content read. The storyline had a good flow. I didn't like the big gap in between. I wanted to know more about Lyrical growing up. I was relieved with the storyline picked up with her and Legend. Lyrical knowing who the mystery man is now will cause alot of ruckus in part 2. I hope nobody get caught in the crossfire. Legend is a real sweetheart. Both of them being with parents is what's bringing them close, but will this shocking discovery pull them apart.....part 2 is needed asap.
