Brides of Chance Creek #3

Issued to the Bride: One Sniper

Rate this book
Sniper Hunter Powell thought he lost everything when he took the rap for a crime he didn't commit in order to save a friend. Now he's got a chance to redeem himself. There's only one catch — he has to leave the military, settle down on a Montana ranch — and marry a woman he's never met before. A woman so young and sheltered he can’t believe she’ll have any interest in a hardened warrior like him — even if her fierce independence, hot-tempered humor, and unexpected beauty has got him plenty interested in her.

Jo Reed watched two of her sisters marry the men her father sent to help them on the family ranch, so when Hunter arrives, she’s ready for him. She doesn’t want a husband; she wants a house of her own where she can call the shots — and if the Navy SEAL wants to stay, he’d better build it to her specifications. More to the point, he’d better stop kissing her.

Hunter knows he’s not supposed to build Jo a house — he’s supposed to marry her. But first he’s got to earn her trust — and stop treating her like a new recruit. The longer he’s around the headstrong woman, the more he wants to be around her.
Despite her best intentions, Jo’s falling for the Navy SEAL, but she’s already been unlucky in love twice. Will the third time around be the charm?

Or the last straw?

There are five Reed sisters and the General has five misfit military men in his special command. Each sister has been matched up with a serviceman that the General has chosen. As formulas go, it's a good one. Throw in the ongoing overarching suspense elements and your have a fun, quick read. In this book the youngest Reed sister, Jo age 21, is paired with a Navy SEAL sniper, Hunter age 34. At first, and sometimes throughout, I was concerned by the age difference. Jo was a tad on the immature side. But, in the end she showed a maturity beyond her years.

Navy SEAL Sniper Hunter Powell was sent to the General's team of military misfits for going AWOL to help his best friend. He will do whatever he has to do in order to clear his name. This means making Jo, the General's youngest daughter, fall in love and marry him. In order to accomplish his mission he is going to build her a tiny house of her own and begin to build a live with her.

As the baby of the family, Jo Reed, had to fit around her four older sisters. Always jockeying for attention and space in their home. Privacy for her could only be had when she was working in the kennel with the dogs she breeds or in the stable caring for the horses. She wants somewhere that is just for her. After seeing two of her sisters marry the men the General sent, she wasn't ready for the one he sent her. She had sworn off men after the disastrous results of her past two boyfriends. But, after some trial and error, Hunter comes to understand what Jo both needs, a space of her own, and what she wants, to be loved first and foremost.

So as I mentioned, Cora Seton's books have become an escape addiction. My Confession is in the review for the first book, Issued to the Bride: One Navy SEAL (Brides of Chance Creek, #1).

This is the continuing series about five very special daughters who run a ranch called Two Willows.
Their father has been away for years. He is a general and when he lost his wife, he couldn't deal with the pain of being at the ranch and around all the things that reminded him of her. This left the daughters to develop deep resentment for the man.

These five daughters raised themselves up. They are strong, with unique personalities and talents. There is a mystical element to the ranch and women, each with talent all their own. When the General decides to send them husbands, it does not go down easily.

Daughter Jo is the youngest and the general has sent her Hunter.

Brian, Connor, Hunter...is the General ordering men to marry us?

Jo Reed is the youngest of the five sisters and in this installment, the 21 year old is introduced to Hunter Powell. A man that she recognizes has a painful past but she is adamant that she's finished with relationships. However, it's fairly short lived since Hunter is there for marriage and he's building a house for Jo. As was discussed in the two earlier books, there is much danger lurking around Reed Ranch and whatever else is coming continues to haunt the sisters.

Jo and Hunter were fairly electric as a couple and I continue to marvel at the way Cora Seton manages to draw us in quickly to the dramatic romance. I did enjoy the story but I knocked off a star for the really simplistic handling of PTSD.

Issued to the Bride: One Sniper is the third book in the Brides of Chance Creek series and it really is best if you read the books in order. Feeling as though he has let his girls down, the General has been sending men from his unit home to his ranch with explicit orders to marry his daughters. If they are all successful, the men will get an honorable discharge, a chance at inheriting the ranch and hopefully a wife and family that they will love. So far the General has been successful with his picks and now it is Hunter's turn to be matched up with the youngest daughter, Jo. Will he be successful a third time?
Once again Cora Seton has written a book that is difficult to put down until it is finished. As much as I enjoyed the romance between Jo and Hunter, I suspect that the next book featuring Lena will be even more enjoyable as Lena is dead set on a man telling her what to do! A great addition to the Chance Creek series!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.

This amazing series reminds me of Sex in the City only for the reasons where you will make yourself think, Am I a Carrie, Miranda, Samantha or a Charlotte? Here in these dreamy romances I think am I more like Cass, Alice, Jo, Lena or Sadie? To be honest we’re all probably a little bit like all of them at different stages of our lives.

Jo and Hunter’s story has its own uniqueness being that she’s 21 and he’s 34. Jo is the youngest of the 5 sisters of Chance Creek located in Montana. She’s been dying to get away from being treated like a child being raised by her older sisters. Hunter has had quite the upbringing himself with his own upbringing and he’s never let anyone see this because it only pushed him away from wanting a wife or family of his own.

In Issued to the Bride: One Snipper Navy SEAL sniper, Hunter Powell is sent by the General to become the partner of Jo Reed, the daughter that understands animals and feelings. They seem far from a match with the twelve year age difference, his tight control of all his emotions and his ability to keep his private life private and Jo's openness, sweetness and empathy. They do say opposites attract and these two have sizzling hot chemistry once they get to know one another. They also develop a respect for one another as Hunter opens up to Jo and shares his secrets, hurts and the conflict in his life.

Add another attack at the Two Willows Ranch with a fire in the stables, a rescue, trouble from an old friend from home for Hunter, his mother's surprising revelations about his father and this is an action packed emotional romance not to be missed.

Issued to the Bride One Sniper: Brides of Chance Creek Book 3 is by Cora Seaton. General Augustus Reed had found grooms for two of his daughters, Cass and Sadie. Now it was Jo’s turn. He was also afraid of the drug running outfit who was hounding the ranch these days. Brian and Connor, the grooms, had already run them off twice; but they could use some help. He was sending Hunter Powell, Navy SEAL sniper, to help protect the ranch and to marry Jo. Of course, Hunter had to get Jo to marry him without telling her it was his mission.
Hunter Powell had come to the special unit under General Reed because he had messed up and was close to being dishonorably discharged. Reed was giving him a second chance. General Reed thought there was more to the incident that Hunter was involved in but he didn’t know for sure. He hoped he read him right.
Jo answered the door when Hunter arrived in the middle of Sadie and Connor’s wedding. She knew immediately he was from General Reed and wanted nothing to do with him. However, when she touched him, she could read his emotions and his were confusing. Was he to be trusted? When he said he was there to make Jo happy and give her whatever she wanted. Immediately, she said she wanted a house. So, Hunter was to build her a house; somehow, he had to learn how to do that and quickly.
This book is really good and it cute. It was fun to read.

So I'm starting to think that this author and I just don't jive. I've been putting off continuing this series because well, I haven't been a fan of the first two books. But I'm a glutton for punishment because I can't seem to ever leave series hanging and I had to buy these books so there's that. And I was stupid and bought them all before I read the first one. Plus, I'm always hoping they will get better. Unfortunately, this one didn't get better.

First, the whole military plotline throws me because it's so unrealistic. I'm a military spouse and after this series, I'm not sure I'll ever read a military storyline again. Hunter being a sniper had nothing to do with the actual story so that was odd. And the whole SEAL addition was just to make him seem cool. And don't get me started on the whole AWOL storyline. Because let's be real. No military soldier EVER would be assigned to a general's ranch to marry his daughter...LOL

While I understand Jo is 21, she's horribly immature. Her constantly stomping her feet, yelling, and/or running off was just too much. And Hunter constantly coming back to apologize was just starting to get ridiculous.

The drama at the ranch was very predictable in this one.

I didn't like this one at all. So much so, I'm seriously considering just calling the money I spent on the next three books a wash because I'm not sure I can do three more if they are like this one.

Hunter is a Navy SEAL sniper who tried to help a friend out and it left him in trouble. Jo Reed has gone through more than most young women her age including having killed a man in self defense to save herself and her sister. Both of them need each other but neither can see it.

The General aka General Reed and the Reed sisters father has plans for all of his daughters to marry men he has handpicked for them. And all of them are misfits according to the military but he is convinced they are the best possible matches for his daughters. The daughters he has not seen in years due to his own inability to come to terms with his wife’s death. Yes, this is a continuing thread and underlying theme in the series. I am hoping that by the time this series reaches it final book, the General has come to terms with his own grief and reunites with his daughters.

Jo as the youngest daughter feels that she needs to be able to live by herself before she is ready to marry. Each of the men sent by her father already have built or made something for the sister who they ended up marrying. Jo decides that she wants Hunter to build her a house. She is willing to listen to Hunter’s suggestion that he build her a tiny house. And with this the fun begins.

The characters in this book are well developed like Ms. Seton’s characters always are. They are also human with flaws. And these flaws and quirks are what make her characters fun to get to know and read about.

Each book in this series can be read separately. But reading them in order gives you a chance to get to know everyone. These books also a chance to catch a glimpse of other characters in the books set around the Chance Creek area.

I did receive a copy of this book from the author in advance in exchange for a fair and unbiased review.

ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is the third book in the Issued to a Bride series.

The five Reed sisters have always lived in Two Willow Ranch. Their
beloved mother passed when they were teenagers.
Their father, the General, unable to cope with the loss of his wife, never visited the ranch again.

The sisters spent the next eleven years trying to shake off every restriction the General put on them from afar, including the men he’d sent to run the cattle operation on his wife’s ranch and the women he’d sent to finish raising them.

Now the sisters are all grown up and the General could not send guardians to watch over them anymore. So he is, surreptitiously, sending husbands
To this end, he created a special cross- branch task force, handpicking five military men.
The General's plot is working. Two sisters are already married.

This time is Jo, the youngest, turn.

All the sisters have peculiar gifts.
Jo has a way with animals and she can sense people's emotions. And yet she let her latest boyfriend, a drug dealer delinquent, use her. Like her sisters, she is resilient but not very wise about men. Hunter is strong, committed to friends and family, protective and mature.
For the first time in his life, when he meets Jo, he feels a strong connection to a woman.
I liked this couple and the way they were able to open their hearts to each other, to trust and to love, forgiving mistakes and misunderstandings.

Cora Seton has depicted a great cast of believable characters. I like all the sisters. They are strong, capable women. The plot is well developed and well paced.
The supernatural element is interesting and not overplayed.

I am really looking forward to the next book!

Welcome to another AMAZING series by Cora Seton, The Brides of Chance Creek. This series has a whole new, hilarious, angle...Army General Augustus Reed needs to find good men to marry his daughters...daughters who in no uncertain terms don't want their father interfering with their ranch. Enter the group of military men that have found themselves in trouble and looking for a way out, General Reed has the solution, marry the daughter he has hand-picked and all the trouble goes away. Trouble is, the daughter's are all high-spirited and stubborn and won't take lightly to the situation.

Like all of the books that Cora Seton writes,  The Brides of Chance Creek are another series of books that are chuck full of friendship, love, spirit and heat-searing romance. Once I started this book I didn't want to put it down and ended up reading it the same day I received it, like most Cora Seton books! The book follows all of the character's that were introduced in the first book and you continue to get a more in-depth understanding of each character as this series reads on. The characters are well developed and you get to really know these beautifully flawed individuals. You can read this book as a stand-alone book, but really if you haven't read the first two, please do the series justice and go get those before you start on this one, I promise, you won't be sorry!

I loved this story and the interactions between Hunter and Jo, they were sweet and magical and you couldn't ask for a better love at first sight, or touch, story! The chemistry between these two sizzled and I could feel their energy leap from the pages while I read. I can't wait to venture back to Chance Creek for our next Bride, Lena, which looks to be the wildest, funniest book yet!

First I have to say I love the way the General's next choice shows up at the end of the previous book. It's not a cliff-hanger but more of an introduction and he comes bearing a gift for the bride and groom. It will certainly have you buying the next book. The letters from the General's late wife will also have you sniffling even as you're angry he hasn't returned to the ranch, not even for the weddings.

Each of these women are connected to the ranch, each has an ability that makes them a bit different, magical. In Jo's case she can get feelings from someone when she touches them. It's a way to see if they're sincere, although that's been off since her last two boyfriends have tried to kill her family. She also breeds dogs and has a waiting list a mile long. We see a lot of these dogs throughout the books.

Now Hunter is here to build something for her, what she wants is her own house. She's tired of being treated like a child and wants a space to call hers. The General is not pleased with this turn of events, but Hunter is determined to win Jo over. It a house is what it takes, then a house she will have.

Now it seems the trouble with the drug runners may not be over when Jo's horse is injured. Now everyone's on guard again.

There's still a lot going on and Hunter also has a friend that appears to have a lot of problems he's not handling well.

Laughter, tears, anxiety, drama on both sides, and a simmering to sizzle relationship will have you turning the pages. I am truly loving this series in spite of the General's stubbornness.

ARC for honest review with no compensation

The continuing saga of the Brides of Chance Creek, Book 3 by Cora Seton and what a way to continue this series as the men keep coming to Two Willows! ! !

This story is about Jo Reed and Hunter Powell and of course, the General August Reed and along with the letters from his deceased wife. When the General reads the letters he chooses another man from his unit which he has handpicked to marry each of his daughters and keep them safe from harm and to make Two Willows (the ranch) prosper.
Jo has watched two of her sisters fall in love and marry the men her father has sent to help with Two Willows and she is determined that she will not fall when it’s her turn….until she opens the door to Hunter and the sparks fly as they both like what they see. She is determined to get Hunter to build her a house so she can be on her own but definitely not marry him! While Hunter knows that he has to marry Jo but he also knows he has to bring her around to him and get her to the altar….will he make that happen or will he leave as he did in the past (which got him to the General’s unit in the first place)???

Lots of mystery, sexy banter, secrets, stealing the home on wheels, spiritual magic and finding love when you least expect it.

Once you start this book you won’t be able to put it down until the last word is read…..can’t wait for the next book in this series.

I loved the third book in this Brides of Chance Creek series because I admired the strength and tenacity Jo had through everything she faced, even this Navy SEAL sniper who just happened to choose Connor and Sadie's wedding day to make his appearance. These two were cut from the same cloth, both resilient in their brokenness. She fought for her independence even as she found herself wanting the closeness she could have with him. And as much as they wondered whether their age difference would be their biggest hurdle, there were more difficult things to get past in order to find the connection they needed to have their happily ever after. It's steamy and perilous and fantasy all wrapped up in an impossible romance.

I think one of my favorite aspects of these stories in particular is the magic. Each of the women seems to have some kind of connection to the land and their heritage that nothing has the power to break. And each of the men complements these women in ways none of them expected to want. It's romance at its finest with some dangerous mystery involved to keep us watching. As much as I love this entire story, my favorite scene in the book is the last one. I won't tell you how it ends...you have to read the book. Thank you for another wonderful and breathtaking read, Ms Seton.

Issued to the Bride by Cora Seton is the third book in the Brides of Chance Creek Series.
This book can easily be read as a stand-alone. I recommend to read the books in order.
As are: Issued to the Bride: One Navy SEAL
Issued to the Bride: One Airman
Issued to the Bride: One Sniper

This is Jo and Hunter´s book. Jo Reed is the youngest of five daughters of General Augustus Reed. He sends soldiers to marry and to help at the family ranch, Two Willows.
And now it´s Jo´s turn. She´s the baby in the family and the sisters baby her. Jo wants nothing more than be her own master.
And then comes the much older Hunter Powell. Hunter is a keeper. He cares deeply for his family, may they be his blood or not. He´s a good man.

Issued to the Bride: One Sniper is a great read. I greatly enjoyed reading this book and I read it in one sitting, I couldn´t put it down. But reading this book was bittersweet. Bittersweet because I hurt with the characters. I could feel all their emotions in the words. I laughed with them, I cried for them and I cheered for them.
This is a great book, I love the words and I love the writing. I recommend Issued to the Bride and give 5 Stars. Thank you Cora Seton !

Loyalty above all else

Jo Reed is the youngest of the 5 Reed sisters. At 22 she is the sensitive sister who loves animals and is very good at handling them on their Two Willows Ranch. The girl's father, just call him the "General," has been an absentee parent for years, since their mother died over a decade ago. But that hasn't stopped him from sending nanny's and overseers that his daughters routinely run off. The last foreman he sent, even though his daughters are adults, was a crook. Although the girls ran him off the trouble he started, including drug trafficking and guns, lingers on. In this latest novel, Jo is under her sisters watch because she was involved in deadly violence in the previous book of this series. But she's determined to show everyone she is tough, resilient and capable. Enter Hunter Powell, SEAL sniper, currently sent on a mission to Two Willows to win over Jo's heart. But with her recalcitrance, his bossiness and their age difference (he's 34), is this the match the General thinks is made in heaven? Through challenging situations, evolving emotions and family dilemmas Hunter & Jo realize what they have together. And Two Willows becomes their loving home despite the odds. Beautiful development of a loving, loyal couple.

This series only gets better! Issued to the Bride: One Sniper is one smoking hot love story.

General Augustus Reed has once again chosen well for another of his 5 daughters. Hunter Powell is perfect for Jo Reed but he has his work cut out for him when it comes to convincing her. But a trip out through the maze to visit the stone convinced Jo that Hunter was the man meant for her to spend her life with.

This book was so intriguing from the first page to the last. I simply didn't want to put it down once I started reading. It is a real page turner filled with danger, excitement and sparks that quickly turn into flames as Hunter and Jo discover the feelings they have for each other and while doing so discover some understanding for both their parents.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary ARC and rated this book 5 stars because it was well written and held my attention from beginning to end and I highly recommend this book and author.

I can't wait to read the next installment especially after the last page of this one. Logan definitely has his work cut out for him just getting into the house since Lena slammed the door in his face!

This is the third book in the series, if you haven't read the previous books I would strongly suggest you do before reading this book.
Although each book is dedicated to each couple, there is a main story thread that runs in the series and each book prepares you for the next couple and also you catch up with the developing relationship with couples you have already come to know and love.
Issued to the Bride: One Navy SEAL
Issued to the Bride: One Airman
Issued to the Bride: One Sniper

This book is Hunter and Jo's story.
We start of in the prologue again with the commander and he is a tad frustrating, he again is reading a letter from his wife and failing in proper loving care of his remaining family. This is also really sad, the gulf is there and it seems he can't or won't fix it.

Jo has an affinity with animals and she can sense people's emotions but messed up with her latest now ex boyfriend.
Hunter is an uncertain choice from her father but he is loyal to friends and family, protective and this instinct really kicks in for him with Jo.
This is a good read and a must for Cora Seton fans.

Getting an ARC of Cora Seton's book is always a pleasure to read and to write a review afterwards. The third book in the Brides of Chance Creek led me to familiar grounds, predictable troupes and plot lines and as usual, a comforting HEA (happily ever after). Not complaining. Going back to Chance Creek is like having coffee with friends I haven't met in a while.

In this book, Hunter and Jo went through all the motions necessary to end up HEA. The story stays true to its message of partnership, gender equality, compromises and women empowerment. Though, what I like about this series is Hunter's journey to redemption. It was his own and he was brave to face his demons that has haunted him for years. Thanks to Jo, love at first sight and the error of his ways. He was given a chance to begin life anew.

And when love is real, it does find a way.

It is now the General who baffles me. How his pride has gotten in the way of loving his daughters. The mysterious ways of his wife does little to make him go back to Two Willows. I wonder what big surprise Cora Seton has at the end of the series?

My favorite part of this book was Jo, I loved how honest she was. And yes she most certainly is a Warrior, through and through. Hunter was just the perfect man for her, because she is and old soul and that comes through loud and clear in the stories, which makes him actually a little young for her, but they fit.

Fabulous

I love Jo. This women has been through check and back. No one at Two Willows seems to understand stand that she is fine after she kills a man that was all but kidnapping her and when that went wrong would have kill her and her sisters. She knows what she did was not wrong and she can live with what she did but her sisters and brother-in-laws are walking on egg shells around her and treating her with kid gloves. That is till Hunter shows up. The General sent him so if course at first Jo pushes back. But it does not take long for her to find that he see her differently from all the rest of the. Will she be the next on to married the on that the General has sent it does she push him away. However the bigger question is what happens when word get out about the trouble that Hunter is in with the Navy? The other men do not take it so well. Will they be able to look past what happened and see why Hunter did what he did or will it all come crashing down around the. Because Hunter's mistake is unforgivable in the military.

It’s the 3rd of the Reed sister’s turn to have her absentee father send a military man under his command to woo her. Jo is the youngest of the sisters and feels she is constantly mothered and bossed by her sisters. When Navy Seal and Sniper Hunter Powell arrives, Jo informs she doesn’t want a husband. What she really wants is a place of her own – a house where she will be in charge. Hunter is instantly taken by Jo and decides building her house will allow the two to get to know one another. Hunter’s ‘problem’ continues to interfere with his efforts to get the mission done. Jo also has distractions from the drug runners who caused issues before.
This series just keeps getting better and better. Ms Seton writes a terrific book and seems to understand the military (which I appreciate as a former military myself). Well written, grabs and keeps my interest, quick paced and suspenseful! Great Read!

Ok this is the third book in this series the General is finally sending Hunter for Jo to marry. If you read past books you know that Jo has not had good experiences with her past two boyfriends she even almost lost her life and her sisters because of her poor choices.Hunter is the quiet type he was put in USCCOM also under the General we finally get to see why he ended up hear and it was because he was helping out a friend. Hunter is quite a bit older than Jo he is loyal to friends and a good guy. This book has some action but not as much as the last book no crazy shootouts but their is still someone out to get the sisters and their farm. I enjoyed this book and read it in 2 days I can barely wait for the next book which is Lena and Logans story which will be very interesting because at the end of this book Lena slammed the door in Logan face.

Cora Seton hit another home run with this next in the Issued to the Bride series. This ones finds Jo determined not to be manipulated by the father who abandoned her and her sisters years ago following their mother's death. She's watched two of her sisters fall for men that the General sent, but she has no need for a man in her life. She can't even get her sisters to take her seriously, why would a man who is a total stranger?

Hunter Powell has agreed to the terms the General set up to make up for the foolish behavior that almost found him court marshaled. He's always dreamed of working a ranch and working with his hands, but to get that he needs to marry the General's daughter Jo. It isn't long before Hunter is legitimately falling for the youngest Reed sister. Now he just has to get her on board while protecting her from someone determined to destroy Two Willows.

Good story with a rather strange premise, about a general who keeps sending men-- military on the verge of ending their enlistment-- to marry his daughters. It's weird that the men agree, and that they actually fall in love. But there are slight elements of woo-woo to the story. The hero's status as a sniper plays no part in the story whatsoever-- he could almost not be military at all, except for peripheral elements. Anyway, the sniper is sent to marry the youngest daughter of five, the one who manages the cattle ranch's horses and dogs. She also has the ability to sense a person's internal motivation and whether it matches his or her words. Only she hasn't always listened to what her extra sense is telling her. It's a nice story with some mild conflict and some decent angst. I enjoyed it.

I listened to the Audiobook for this one. The narration was ok, but the story was interesting. I really enjoyed Hunter and Jo. There was a little action, not too much angst, and a few steamy scenes.

I thought Hunter was sweet. He tried to be in tune with what Jo wanted and needed. Even after she would get angry with him, he tried to step back and objectively look at what happened. Jo seemed to provide Hunter with that soft, safe place to land.

After Hunter was hit with a few truths he was unaware of about his mother, and after his friend made his revelation, he didn't react like I expected him to react. That was a pleasant surprise.

I hope as the books move forward, we will finally see the end of the Reed sisters problems.

I was able to listen to this via the Audible Romance subscription.

Hunter and Jo will bring you in and keep you turning the pages. If you enjoyed the other books in this series (this is book 3), you will enjoy this one, too. If you haven’t read the other books, you will still enjoy this one (it works as a stand-alone), but you’ll want to read the others too! Hunter is a Navy SEAL who was sent to the General after he went awol to save a friend. The General sends him to his ranch in Montana, to protect his girls and marry Jo. Jo has had bad taste in men, so isn’t interested in a relationship. Then she meets Hunter and the heat is on. Building things, fire, and family. Suspense, drama, and romance. A good combination! Enjoy this entry from Cora Seton – she has a way of making you come back again and again!

This series just seems to be getting better and better! I absolutely loved Hunter. And of course this novel has something that is just gold: Puppies! Jo breeds dogs and when someone comes to buy one but doesn't seem to want to wait she considers giving him one... that is until Hunter shows up and tells her that he doesn't trust him. There's something about Hunter that just pulls Jo. He's devilishly handsome, but there's something else about him that just pulls him to her.

This was the steamiest book in the series, in my opinion. And Hunter's story and back ground is so heart-wrenching that you have no choice but to fall in love with him right along with Jo. Also, with all the action in the end, you have tons to look forward to!
