"Look... when I meet my wife, I don't want to have to explain to her why I slept with a hundred chicks before I met her, okay?"

• Kit's humorous inner monologue.
• Kit's relationships with her brothers. It's very one-dimensional, and there's a cliche type of campy family feeling. But I liked it? Yeah, I didn't like how one-dimensional they were, but they contributed to the charm and hilarity of this novel.
• Mike. Seriously. I just love, love, love him. I've loved him from book 1 (Mayhem), was upset that book 2 didn't show him that much, and was ecstatic to see him brought up more.
• Less slut-shaming compared to the last two books, which is an improvement.
• Character growth!!!
• How Kit's family dealt with the reveal of Kale's sexuality.
• I just think that Kit spent 6 years obsessing over him for way too long
• The slut-shaming.... ish. There's not that much as compared to book 1 and book 2, but there's still a lot. The only reason why there's less slut-shaming in this one is because book 1 & book 2 had SO MUCH SLUT SHAMING in it.
• I think inaccurate portrayal of how bands and groupies work? I don't know about you, but I've been to many concerts to know how this work. Bands on tour (especially smaller bands, like what their band is), will usually have their tour buses in restricted area.
Only their guests, themselves, and other band members from other bands can go into the restricted/gated area where their buses are. It's to keep stalkers from trying to break in and cause some damage.
And most bands, when on tour, they don't give a shit about hanging out with groupies and sticking their dicks into anything with legs and is of the opposite sex. They're often: exhausted, tired, have to deal with lack of food, lack of clean laundry (I don't know about you, but the second Shawn and Kit went to do laundry, I found myself snorting), and being homesick because they can't be around their loved ones.
A lot of band members have made statements on the not-so-glamourous lives of touring. Unless you're a HUGE band (like MAROON 5 STATUS), you're living off of clothes that won't be washed in months. That's why most band dudes end up going shirtless a lot.
In AP magazine, there were band members of various bands of various fame that commented on how tame and boring most nights are. Since there's a thing called THE INTERNET, the last thing any one of them want to do is something scandalous that could end up with their names and faces on the web, and their career destroyed.
Add in the fact that some groupies tend to be underage, they'd rather keep their career in tact than risk a felony just to live the "glamorous rock and roll life of a rock star"?
1. Dee & Joel. These two are the IT couple for me in this series. I'm hoping Mike will win me over (please).
2. Rowan & Adam. (Adam was sweet to her!)
3. Kit & Shawn. (Not because I hate them, but because their relationship just threw me off due to her obsession over him for more than 6 years).
1. Mike (I'm sorry, I'm biased. He's been my fave since book 1, and none of the boys have yet to win me over. This could also be because his book hasn't come out yet, so this is just a biased opinion).
2. Joel. (He was a broken soul, and I'm a sucker for those. I'm not a sucker for manho's though. He's not even a reformed manho.)
3. Shawn. (His maturity and how he didn't sleep around with groupies in this novel??? Very refreshing compared to Joel & Adam).
4. Adam. (I know he's sweet, but he was a manho. End of story)
