JG Faherty is a Bram Stoker Award® and ITW Thriller Award nominee and the author of six novels, nine novellas, and more than 50 short stories. He writes adult and YA horror/sci-fi/fantasy, and his works range from quiet, dark suspense to over-the-top comic gruesomeness.

His novels and novellas, all of which are listed on Goodreads, include THE CURE, CARNIVAL OF FEAR, GHOSTS OF CORONADO BAY, CEMETERY CLUB, THE BURNING TIME, LEGACY, CASTLE BY THE SEA, FATAL CONSEQUENCES, THIEF OF SOULS, THE COLD SPOT, and HE WAITS.

This is an amazing book by an amazing group of young students who are eager to become professional writers. As one of the editors, I had the opportunity to read many of the fiction pieces, non-fiction stories, and poems ahead of time, and I continue to be astounded by the creativity, imaginations, and emotional freedom these teens display. This is the second Scrawl volume (vol. 1 came out in 2016) and these are real testaments to the hard work of the librarians and students who worked together to make this project a reality.

From horror to happy reminiscing, science fiction to soul searching, fantasy to all-too-real-life, these pieces will make you laugh, weep, and grip the book tighter as you discover that the untapped potential in these young adult minds is really limitless.
