Dana Hammer has a wicked sense of humor. For example, she is a master of the irreverent snide remark. Now, I must warn you that this novel is a little rough around the edges and I almost put it down a couple of chapters in, because paranormal activity is not my favorite sub-genre. But, I'm really glad I stuck to it, because something magical happened about a third of the way in. That's when the banter kicked into high gear and just kept revving up from there. Towards the end, I was seriously laughing out loud with every page turn -- and, mind you, making me laugh is a hard thing to do these days. (cf. I seem to be the only one in the world who found Guardians of the Galaxy 2 to be completely unfunny.) Besides the humor, Hammer kept me on the edge of my seat wondering how the various loose threads would get tied up. The plot could have gone many different ways, there being so much tension between the three main characters, but the ending was ultimately satisfying. If Hammer ever writes a sequel for this book, I'll be the first in line to grab a copy.

Don’t judge this book by its admittedly simplistic cover; this is a lot of fun! At several points, I laughed out loud. Dana Hammer has a wicked sense of humor, even when discussing incredibly grizzly subjects. Rosemary’s Baby Daddy is a must-read for anyone who enjoys light comedic fantasy.

Best Book Title ever!


This is a very clever and engaging book. I appreciate creativity and I also appreciate a good sense of humor. This story has both in great abundance. The telling of the dysfunction relationship between Lamashtuu and Pazzuzzu in the form of a tale like "Real Housewives" was perfect. The constant references Pazzuzuu made to Dr. Phil made me chuckle every time. Great job!

A Comical Journey!

The story was very fresh and it made me laugh throughout the story! I do recommend on reading if you enjoy comedy. Definitely it's own thing and characters are likeable. Story is a great quick read. Dana did an amazing job, can't wait to read the sequel, Pazuz vs the F***ing faeries!

Don't let the title fool you. This book is a fun romp through adultery, bad relationships and the friends who must suffer through the drama, demonology, idiotic males, and pregnancy cravings. There is a character for everyone to identify with. I think I'm a combo of Agnes and Asag. Both speak the painful truths of life that occasional heard by their equally inept friends.
