A Bitter Love
Monique is one of many girls who has fallen in love with the image that was portrayed on the outside, not really knowing what that person was secretly hiding on the inside. After being in a relationship with Lee for four years, Monique’s fairytale turns into hell and everything takes a bitter turn for her when he starts showing her a whole new side of him that she wasn’t prepared for. Monique would have never thought that things would come to this, and like many women in this situation, she doesn’t know whether to stay or go because even though she is getting abused, she feels as though the love they have for each other will conquer all. Even with being warned by her best friend, Jhazlyn, about Lee’s absurd behavior, Monique believes that he loves her too much to kill her. Stupid, right? Find out if Monique has had enough and escapes the abuse that Lee is putting her through, or if her exact words of him loving her too much to kill her becomes a lie.

Monique really went through a lot of grief and pain dealing with Lee. He was truly an evil dude. Jhazyln was a good friend but there was only so much she could do. I thought she & Dillion were good together. Surprise ending has me looking forward to next part

This book is so good and suspenseful it will keep you on edge it is well written and the characters are very interesting I recommend this book if you like drama cause it's full of it........

This guy Lee was abused as a child and saw his mother get abused by his dad so he has some issues to deal with when it comes to putting his hands on his girlfriend, when she decides she can't take the abuse anymore she finally leaves him but he found her, can she escape him again, have to read part 2

Love or Hate?
Is it really that hard to get out of an abusive relationship? 4 years is so long to be beat and cheated on and made to feel worthless. I absolutely hated Lee and how he treated all women and I honestly feel that he would have seriously hurt his mother of she was more important to his life. Lee is the devil and Monique needed to get away before she ended up dead.

What’s going on
It has me on edge to see what’s going to happen next. Suspense is driving me crazy and I could not sleep because I wanted to finish this book! I’m ready to download part two so I can see what continues. I can’t believe Lee found her and wondering what’s going to happen with her best friend and her boyfriend I love it keep up the good work

This was an emotional read....that DARN Lee is a Darn MESS...Monique is so in love that she is blinded...Dillon and jas....Dillon should've heard jas out...I feel so sorry for Monique..but she is taking a step in the right direction....pts two...here I come

Bitter
Lee is your typical abuser. Blames everything on his childhood. Claims he wants help but refuses to really acknowledge the problem. Monique, bless her heart, just wants him to change. Sadly, he doesn't. So ready for part 2!!

Damn
This book definitely captured a true domestic violence relationships..Lee was a damn lunatic...But for the life of me I don't know how Monique mother kept quiet while her child was being abused... a few errors but all in all a great book

Crazy but true!

This was my first read by this author. The character development and plot build up was well executed, but the editing was not. Lee is truly a violent head case and there's no telling what's going to happen in the sequel. Good read

I kept turning the pages hoping the story line would get better.
The best thing this author did was to keep us in suspense. Not necessarily looking forward to reading the next saga.

Gotta Get Out
I know that it's hard to leave bad situations. You have to get out before it's too late though. A person never realize what that have until it's gone. Domestic violence isn't cool. Actually no type of violence is.

Lee is Crazy
It's crazy how hard it is for women to get out of abusive situations. Nobody deserves to be beaten up for no reason. You would think that Lee would be different because he went through the same trauma.

This story was a sad one. People go through different abuse and still stay. Not knowing why? It could be fear or just stability. I loved how she knew when it was time. He was horrible.
