🔥Mr. Blackthorne Brings out the DARK SIDE in this HOT and emotionally charged story! 🔥

Just when we thought he couldn't get any HOTTER, Ashton Blackthorne brings his DARK SIDE out to play in TWISTED!

This new series follows the path started in The Insatiable Trilogy and delves into the deeper, darker side of Mr. Blackthorne.  After the heart wrenching end(?) of his relationship with Veronica, Ashton is left questioning his entire world.

Ashton Goofs Up👺 Big Time

A Big Oops! Not twisted, just ridiculous!😵 I haven't figured out how to rate this piece of trash. Ok, Instead of piece of trash, let's call it a trashy novel! No, I was right the first time, it is a piece of trash! 💩

In the extended sex club scene near the beginning, Ashton🐺🍌🌋👋💪 would never have been identified by his real name, and since he is a public figure, he most likely would have even worn a mask. Not doing so would leave him wide open for blackmail, even a lawsuit.
Having said that, I didn't much care for his cavalier attitude towards the woman💋 he did the scene with. He made a spectacle out of her from the beginning. Maybe she was into total humiliation, besides sex🍌🌋👋 in public. He sounded like a circus barker, like he was showing off some kind of animal.🐎🐈🐀🐇🐣
It seems the author wants this novel to be so completely over the top crazy ridiculous that there will be nothing it can be compared to.
How does Ashton🐺🍌🌋👋, if this book is a continuation of his so called autobiography, have a clue as to what Amber💋📝 was doing in her spare time? The whole premise of this being an autobiographical novel📑 is a farce. I call B.S. on this whole series! Ashton Blackthorne is a fake and it's a fake name.
In the beginning, he has his assistant, Amber,💋👗 being involved in full blown sex with a man she just met, and they are outside in the street, up against his car with lots of people passing by and stopping to look!. Clapping? Seriously? This scenario, the way it was portrayed, is a total fantasy🐲, not real. I know because I have been there done that and got into trouble for it.
So let's just set aside all this phony author , phony autobiography stuff and just enjoy the book for what it is, an over the top, raunchy🍌🌋👋, erotic👄, silly romance💋, that is completely meaningless in the bigger scheme of things, and not well written.
So, Amber💋👙, get your spurs on, girl! And get ready to ride!

This book and author are popping up all over my newsfeed on Facebook, so I decided to give this book another chance (sober this time). My mindset was as follows: with so many 5-star reviews, maybe I missed something the first time around. Wrong! W.R.O.N.G.!



This was my thought both after seeing my drunken notes the morning after I read it the first time (yes, I take notes while I read books, no judging) and finally finishing the book for the second time. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that either: A) I paid for the rough draft version of the book, or B) 99% of the 5-star reviews are from the author's friends and rabid fans (rabid is the right word to describe them. Don't believe me? Go read the comments on the negative reviews of his other books). Seeing as how I sincerely hope that A is not the correct option, I'm going to go with B. DON'T BELIEVE THE 5-STAR REVIEWS!!! This book is a hot mess from start to finish.

The first time I read this book, my horny, tequila-addled mind soaked it up in one sitting and thought the sex scenes were hot (I have low standards when I'm drunk. Again, don't judge). The second time, with my sober, analytical mind, it took me a WEEK! I haven't had this much trouble getting through a book since 50 Shades of Grey (didn't bother reading the other two) and Twilight (again, just the first book). If the people who gave this book 5-star reviews genuinely loved this book, please, please, for the love of God, let me introduce you to some great authors, who write either true Dark Erotic Romance, BDSM, or both. This book certainly isn't either.

There were only two, maybe three, actual sex scenes in the book and believe me, they weren't hot. I mean, sure, it'd be hot to be f***ed against a car in public, but decency laws prohibit that. Afterwards, there was an audience who clapped and the douchenozzle, Ayden, bowed. Um... no. Just no. That asshat would be going home alone. Also, you're telling me that NO ONE in the 'audience' called the cops? Well, the book supposedly takes places in NY, so I guess that's possible; having never been, I can't say for sure how common an occurrence public sex is. Plausible, though? Not a chance.

Now, the club scene. Where do I even start? First of all, no one will EVER convince me that the author is a real-life Dom, let alone one so easily recognizable. Having been in several Dom/sub relationships and scened with other Doms in clubs in several different states, Ashton's version of a Dom is the one subs are all warned to stay away from. True subs (and I'm speaking from experience) want a Dom who is as kind, considerate, and concerned as he is strong, stern, and a disciplinarian. 'Ashton' fits none of these qualities. Instead, he's a show-pony who makes everything about him. His focus was more on how the audience perceived him and his 'performance' than it was his chosen sub for the evening. The only time he expressed any 'concern' for his sub, Sasha, was to reiterate to another guy that it was 'all about her'. Right, sure, okay. I believe THAT as much as I believe any of the events described in the book are real.

Don't even get me started on the anal sex without lube.



NO! NO! NO! As someone who enjoys anal sex, if you're going to use 'natural' lube, you don't EVER just ram your dick straight in; it requires preparation and easing into it, even for the most seasoned pro. When "Sasha cried out", I guarantee it was not with pleasure. Clearly, the book was written by someone who has never been on the receiving end of anal sex.

Now, on to parts of my original review, continuity errors. To start, Twisted opens in the Winter of 2015, and later, it’s stated that 18 months have passed, which puts the timeline around Summer of 2017. Following major events that occur, we’re told 6 more months have gone by, which brings the timeline to Winter of 2017. This timeline doesn’t fit, as the book is supposed to have taken place in the author’s past.

The next issue I had was that the ages of Ashton and Amber weren’t clear. At one point, Ashton is in his old bedroom, which he hadn’t been inside since moving out twenty-four years ago. Most people move out at 18, so that would make him 42. However, an incident that happened when Ashton was 7 is mentioned as having taken place thirty years earlier. So, he’s 37? Shortly thereafter, he finds items from his 18th birthday, twenty-three years prior. Is he 41? Things aren’t any better with Amber, whom we’re told is a young woman that left home at 18 and hadn’t seen her father in 20 years. That puts her at 38. I wouldn’t consider that young, but other people might. Then, towards the end of the book, Ashton reveals that Amber has lived in NYC for more than 20 years. Given that it’s stated near the beginning of the story that she didn’t move to NYC until she graduated college, that would make her at least 42.

There were also smaller issues with places, people, and things either changing or repeating, such as Amber and Ashton going to Ashton’s house in the Hamptons in Ashton’s car, but by the next chapter, they’re at his penthouse in NYC and Amber has her car. Additionally, there were grammatical and spelling errors. Now, let this sink in for just a minute: When I caught those errors, I was DRUNK. Sober, I found even more; I kid you not, I have a list. How does a 'Harvard-educated billionaire banker' not catch his own errors? For that matter, why did he not pay someone (or multiple someones) to beta read/edit his book? You know, since he's a billionaire and all. If he did, his beta reader(s)/editor(s) should be fired.

This is the fourth book by Mr. Blackthorne and the second that I've read. I read and reviewed his first one and it was all right. This one? It's a piece of garbage. Whereas most authors get BETTER with their subsequent books, he's gotten WORSE. Especially in terms of continuity, grammar, and spelling errors. I can't in good conscience recommend this book to anyone. Save your $2.99 + tax and go buy a coffee. Or, spend a couple dollars more and buy a book from an author who can you know, actually write. If you have KU, you could give this book a chance, but you'd be wasting your time. If you choose the buy the book, don't say I didn't warn you.

Wow! Just wow! I am completely speechless and reeling. This is the 4th book I've read by Ashton and a new series. Let me tell you this book was steamy, panty melting, hot, suspenseful, dark, totally engrossing, lots of twists and turns, page turning good. I COULD NOT STOP READING!!!!! I love everything about this book and finished it in one sitting. I guarantee you will too. There is a cliffhanger in the end but, good God this book was awesome, I can not wait until the next book.

Twisted is Book One in The Dark Series......and it certainly was.....dark in places. This book has so many twists and turns that I fear I have whiplash!
I am a huge fan of Amber and it was great to see more of her and to learn a little more of her background......not going to lie, some of it broke my heart.....despite all she has experienced she is one strong woman......I also feel we saw a more vulnerable Ashton too.....my heart twisted in my chest at times (no pun intended).
This book has left my mind spinning, I have so much going round in my head! But all good!......the end?!!......I cannot wait for the next instalment!

Twisted (Dark Book 1) by Ashton Blackthorne
Wow!!! What a wild ride. If you are familiar with Ashton’s writing you know the panty melting scenes you will get to read. After reading the Insatiable Series I didn’t know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to see the return of Ash and Amber and we even more surprised this book is darker than his others.
This is a great read and provided a more detailed account of Amber’s life and what she has been through in her life. She has a family back in Chicago that she is estranged from and doesn’t really care to see them. She decides to be the bigger person and go to visit her younger sister and her father. We find out Amber was almost raped when she was 18 years old by a family friend. This is a twisted turn of events that caught this reader off guard.
Amber as we learn had a long-time boyfriend that was into the Dom/sub relationship that morphed into Daddy/lg over time. The relationship didn’t end up where she was hoping and…..yep not going to give much away here.
Even though the series is new I personally believe this series picks up where Insatiable ended. There are some scenes that go back in time but Ash has created his new company and Veronica is long gone. I was very excited to get some of my questions and was pleasantly surprised with what I read.
As we know Ash’s mother leaves him when he was just a young boy and he has carried that hurt for a long time. During his father’s funeral, she reappears and turns his world upside down. Based on what he hears his goes back to his childhood home in search of evidence that what she said is true. What he finds shocks and angers him. Things just progress from there.
As much as I would like to say this book ends as a HEA it does and doesn’t. There are still many question left unanswered in this book and has left me eager to read the next book in this series. The complexity of the characters had this reader trying to keep all the past and present events straight. The scenes with Adyen Donovan were intense while Ash practiced his dark side in a club where safe words are honored.
If you are looking for a dark, twisted, hot as hell book that will be a series then this book is for you.

"Twisted" by Ashton Blackthorne is book 1 in his Dark Series and all the ingredients are present for an incredible story; sizzling sex, well developed characters, and a gripping plot.

We learn more about the main character, Ash, and also delve deeper into the character Amber, who I adore. She's a hard worker and appears to be in control of her life, but we learn that Amber comes from a hard background. The author made Amber a relatable character and I love that she has a kinky side to her. The bonds between Ash and Amber strengthen through "Twisted".

Ashton Blackthorne introduces a creepy villain, Ayden, in "Twisted" who not only has a connection to Amber, but also to Ash. With Ayden, readers stand on the sidelines and watch some dark elements of kink unfold. From reading the author's prior series, The Insatiable Series, I knew I was in store for well thought out and exceptionally detailed scenes to propel me into the pages with the characters, and he didn't disappoint with "Twisted". The scenes with Ayden orchestrating mind games, sent chills up my spine.

Ashton Blackthorne's ability to create delectable, sexy scenes and encounters shines brightly in "Twisted". Readers will savor the sexy scenes with the perfect amount of descriptions. He paints the picture in their mind, all while leaving just enough to the reader's imagination and craving more.

Though I despise the character Ayden, I hold the author in high regard for creating a character that at first seems unassuming, but as the book goes on, the reach of Ayden's capabilities creeps strategically into place.

If "Twisted" is any indication of what's to come in the Dark Series, readers are in for an absolute thrilling ride!

Mr. Blackthorne turns up the heat in book 1 of his Dark series. This book is told from both Ash and Amber's POV. with another surprise POV that will blow your mind! Ash continues to deal with issues from his past coming back to haunt him. It turns out that Amber has her own demons starting to resurface and they make Ash's pale in comparison. While helping each other cope with past and present traumas, the pair become closer than ever and their relationship naturally progresses into something much deeper. However, a blast from their pasts threatens not only their new relationship but their lives. This is very dark, suspenseful story that is basically a non-stop emotional roller coaster ride. Don't worry, it's still chock full of hot and kinky deliciousness.

Fast pace and steamy, dark passion

Wow fast paced and dark. This book is sexy and steamy with lots of action going on that had hard time putting book down. Ashton finds out about his mom and she tries to tell him something important before she passes. Amber's ex boyfriend keeps coming after her and Ashton. Alden wants to talk to Ashton about something and that his mom should have been able to get out before passing before having Alden coming after him to tell him something important.

Fantastic

This is a really fantastic story. Amber and Ashton are great together. I like the way they are what the other one needs. The sex scenes in this book are top notch. There where several times I actually felt Amber's pain. The book has a good flow. I enjoyed the memories. It helped to get to know and understand them better. I can't wait to find out more about these two.

Another well written book by Ashton Blackthorne. The books get better and better with every one that I read and this first book of this series is no different. Absolutely Fabulous and Hot. Ashton Blackthorne grew up with his father and he has just passed away. When he was 7, his mother left and he never knew why. He always thought that his mother didn’t love him. When she shows up at his father’s grave site and starts telling him how much she’s loved him and that she has written him letters every year and send him birthday cards till he was 18 he didn’t believe her. He send her away and thinks she’s a crazy drunk. After a year and a half of thinking about what happened that day he goes to his dad’s old house to look in the attic. He is completely caught off guard with what he finds. He cannot believe that someone could keep information from someone they love.
Amber grew up in Chicago but left 20 years ago to go to school and never looked back. She didn’t have the easiest life growing up. She was always being hit on and guys making passes at her due to her developing a bit earlier than many other girls. Even her own brother and his friends made passes at her. The last night she spend in Chicago she was 18 years old and working her last night at her job. When her dad’s friend Larry is passed out at the bar, the owner calls him a ride. When Amber leaves to walk home, she hears something and finds Larry on the side of the road and he asks her to walk him home. When she does, he really isn’t drunk. He tries to take advantage of her and tells her that her daddy sold her for $500. Needless to say, she gets away and never turns back to go home until recently. Amber has been through a wild relationship with Ayden during her time working with Ashton. There ups and downs are a wild ride. Who really is Ayden?
When Ash goes to find his mom, she lives in Chicago. When he finds her, she is unconscious due to a drug overdose and calls 911. They take her to the hospital and he calls Amber asking her to come. She does because not only have they been friends all of these years, they are business associates and she is secretly in love with Ash and always has been.
What will happen when they go to Chicago together? What will happen to Ash’s mom? Will she tell him the truth of why she left? Will Amber go home to find out why she was treated so poorly? Will Ayden ever let Amber go? There is so much going on in this book and you are not going to want to miss a minute of it. Since I’m not that reviewer to give you the whole story because if I did you wouldn’t read it. So you get some important parts but I can guarantee you will not want to pass this book up. It’s well written, the characters are fabulous and the story itself you keep you at the edge of your seat. Plus it’s Hot which I said before. I already am looking forward to the next book in the series. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.

WOW, This book is HOT, SEXY, DEEP and TWISTED... Each page you turn will have you wanting, NO craving more. You won't he able to put this book down.. I love that Mr. Blackthorne wrote it in different POV's, you get to experience each character as they tell their story...

We learn more about the Sexy Mr. Ashton Blackthorne and his Beautiful assistant Amber. I loved Amber and was secretly cheering for both Ashton and Amber to hook up...

We learn a lot about Amber's past and the secret she held on to for so long. You will feel her pain and hurts as she tells her story and when you think you can't love this woman more she shows courage and strength when she makes a visit home and you fall in love with her even more.

Mr. Blackthorne is dealing with the loss of his father when someone from his past interrupts the funeral and Ashton learns of a secret his father took to the grave. Mr. Blackthorne finds a piece of his past and it begins chipping away at the wall surrounding his heart.

We are then introduced to a Twisted character named Ayden.. Adyen is Amber's Sexy boyfriend who loves to be called Daddy. Yes ladies, Our sweet Amber has a kinky side. We learn that Ayden is not only interested in Amber he also has an interest in the life of Mr. Blackthorne.

 But why? Who is Ayden really? What does he really want?

Well ladies I am not telling you, you will need to buy the book and read it to find the answer.. I promise you will be glad you did, from the intensity of the story, the hurt of the past and the SEXY, HOT Sex scenes that Mr. Blackthorne has written, you will be on the edge of whatever seat you are sitting on and you will definitely be squeezing your thighs together. Mr. Blackthorne writes these scenes in such a way that you close your eyes and its like you are there and everything that is happening at that moment is happening to you.

I loved this book and would highly recommend it to everyone. Mr. Blackthorne does not disappoint and you will be left deeply satisfied 😘

OMG each book lives up to it's name. Twisted picks up from the funeral of Blackthorne's father, the reappearance of his mother and a laundry list of revelations that has your head spinning. He is still dealing with the painful breakup of his relationship with Veronica and in the most traumatic way Blackthorne finds out about his mother's life after she left him, how his father kept vital information from him regarding the fact that his mother had reached out to him for several years.

His father's secrets turn out to be the most deadly of any revelation he discovers and could cost him everything he values most. By is side is Amber a strong, intelligent, beautiful professional woman who is there for him through the good, the bad and the ugly in his life. Amber whom he admires, respects and desires but she too has a past and secrets that prove just as dangerous and dark as anything he has experienced thus far.

Finally, things look favorable for a relationship between these two, when it looks like they find their way to each other after each had relationships end badly. They end up at his place and things get heated when Blackthorne realizes that she means more to him and he did not want to lose what they had by taking that final step into a Dom/sub relationship. Amber feels embarrassed, hurt and rejected. When he leaves her alone she bolts and unknown to him is abducted.

This book had me feeling all kinds of emotions from the white hot sex, dom/sub scenes, Blackthorne brought the heat. There were times when I felt sadness, frustration, anger, fear and I felt as though I was right there experiencing everything along with him.

Another well written, spellbinding read that left me panting for more. Well done Mr Blackthorne.

I give Twisted by Ashton Blackthorne five stars. This is book one of the Dark Book series. I have read every single one of Ashton’s book and I cannot get enough of them. This is a dark alpha male romance. If you love bad boys, alpha men, guys in business suits and dark romance this book is for you! Ashton Blackthorne is a ruthless business man, unstoppable when he puts his mind to something and he has recently had his heart shattered and he feels he has no one to turn too or does he? Amber is Ashton’s secretary and has always been by his side through all his ups and downs. Ashton considers her not just a secretary but also a friend and confidant. Would Ashton love to have more with his sexy secretary? Maybe… Amber has wanted Ashton since day one but would not get involved because he is her boss. After Amber has a bad break up with her boyfriend she turns to Ashton for comfort, that is until her dark past shows up and threatens to destroy everything. There was some violence in this book and there was a lot of HOT sexual content. This book will bring you through a rollercoaster or emotions and it will leave you hot and bothered. I have fallen in love with Ashton writing, he has an amazing writing style and I am so happy I found him as an author. His books will hook you immediately and will leave you hanging begging for him to hurry up and release his next book. I highly recommend this book and I would recommend you read his Insatiable series first so you can have the whole back story, although you do not need to. This is a must read!

Wow!! Absolutely freaking fabulous!! I have read all of Mr. Blackthorne's books and I have to say that this is his best by far!! So many times while reading this book  Twisted, I was left speechless. Other times WOW unbelievable!
Beautiful Amber showed so much courage and strength facing the challenges  of her horrific past and now in a relationship with a Twisted Ayden. It's amazing she can still be sexy, sassy, kickazz, professional woman.
After Ash's fathers death, secrets of his father's past start to unfold. Sexy Ash still has strong desires for Amber. Will he ever let his guard down and act upon them or is Veronica still haunting his emotions?
There is more of an indepth of Amber and Ash's past in Twisted. They send you on an emotional ride full of twists and turns of mystery, deceit and suspense. You will be so intrigued by their story that you won't be able to put Twisted down. I would recommend reading his Insatiable Series to get a more indepth of the characters. The sex scene are so hot and detailed.
This is only a taste of Mr. Blackthorne's Dark Series, Book 1. He is truly an incredible author and has written a fabulous story. You will not go wrong by reading Twisted. Can't wait for next book!!! There is a nice little cliffhanger. I'm volunteering an honest review for an advance reader's copy.

Twisted is an exciting and gripping read that kept me turning pages until I was finished with the book! Told in an alternating P.O.V and alternaternates from past to present.
Twisted starts out hot, and keeps getting hotter, the sex scenes are panty melting and should come with "panties optional" warning!
With that being said, it's the story that grabbed me and wouldn't let go. We learn more of Amber's heartbreaking past and witness her strength as she faces it.
Ashton discovers a secret, and in the process, learns more than he imagined.
The chemistry between Ashton and Amber is undeniable, palpable! I was able to feel the longing they feel for each other pulse through my body. Every time Ashton has needed anybody, Amber has been there-could what he has wanted been infront of him all along?
But Amber's past threatens to ruin any chance of happiness, endangering both Amber's AND Ashton's lives. Will Ashton be able to save Amber? Who is Ayden? Is Ayden the "he" Debra warned him about?
Twisted left me reeling from the emotional rollercoaster ride Mr. Blackthorne took me on, leaving me wishing I had book 2 of the Dark series to dive into!
If you like twisty, dark, intense reads with HAF sex scenes, THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU!

I just finished reading my ARC copy. OMG! OMG! What the F*** did I read. I have a book hangover. I felt so much more pain and loss with this book. What Mr. Blackthorne and Amber went through. I was pissed at hell for the pain Amber went through as a teen and adult. The abuse was so rule. Her pain -- inflicted by the abusers were -- so real. I cheered for her and Mr. Blackthorne as the business flourished. I was pissed as hell on her rejection from the man she finally said those magically words. I wanted to tell Mr. B...take the shit-stick out of your ass and see what is there in front of you.

The hot sex scenes were hotter than ever, explicit and graphic but needed in this book to visually understand the scope of what makes this man sensual, what he feels, lust, and drives him. The passion he has for the woman who has captivated him for 6 years.

Then the conclusion. I was not ready for that conclusion. Leaves this reader wondering who is his enemy? Is he a sibling? A relative? An enemy brought on by Veronica? From his former employer? Or a rival company? More so, what does Amber know?

This book was incredible. It had so many twisted scenes that I had to reread it to make sure I was reading it right. The thing that made happy though was when Ash and Amber finally got together. They are perfect for each other. Getting to know both their back stories was a surprise. They both have so much in common it's unbelievable. And then you have Ayden...what is he to Ash? By the end of the story I waneed to stragglers him myself but the fact remains...who is this pysho. It looks like we have to wait until the next book to find out.
So this is what I want to say about this book...it gives us so man things to love and hate it will always bring us back for more. Ashton Blackthorne is an incredible writer and for those who still haven't read his work I'm here to let you know that this is one author who knows how to write and will be counted as one of my top 10 ever. Congratulations Ashton on yet another amazing book. This one without a doubt gets 5 stars from me!!!

I think Ashton's writing is very alluring. Between his past and his determination for answers it keeps my attention. This book at times was really frustrating. Sometimes both Ashton and Amber couldn't get a break, there would be a scene of such commotion or chaos and then a quiet scene. Sometimes the quiet scenes balanced the twists and turns of this book. Either Amber's longing or Ashton's day dreaming of her, or them wanting nothing more then to eat a greasy bacon cheese burger with a bud light, again it does show a variety of writing skills. Moreover, the book is just sometimes CRAZY!

His past , her past, and we have a villain that plays a sick and torturous game. Their pasts are dark and darker than I thought for them both. I am wide eyed at it all, it peeks my curiosity. I feel split by this book... things that I want clarification on...or more of...less of...maybe that's the point ?

So sexy, dark, and intense, from the very beginning this story made you want to understand who exactly Ash was. This story was amazingly well written and it almost felt like I was right there along with Amber when she realized how important her past was to her present. Amber realized that Ash wasn't like your typical boss, he liked to control what was his, and expected to be listened to and allowed to protect what was his. The chemistry between them is so intense and undeniable on every page of this book, but there just always seem to be something holding them both back. Amber does not want to lose her relationship with Ash, but is she willing to trust him with everything in order to truly live? Will Ash forgo his past to live in the present? This book covered serious issues that should never be ignored, and the author did an amazing job describing and detailing the importance of a equal partnership; equal relationship.

I absolutely love Ashton's books. This one is gripping right from the beginning and keeps you completely hooked right to the very last word. Once I knew this was coming out I was on the edge of my seat. I was patiently waiting to see what was going to happen between Ashton and Amber. I so wanted these two together. This book takes you down a different ride with some very dark twisted turns. But it is an amazing read . Love Amber she is so strong no matter what is thrown in front of her. I cant wait to read about her. This was a very well written book from the beginning to the end. It is not only hot and sexy but gripping and twisted. Just an amazing book . I highly recommend reading this. I guarantee you will enjoy reading this book. I will warn you it does leave you hanging at the end. I seriously wanted to throw my kindle. I cant wait until the next one comes out to see what happens.

Twisted is the first book in the Dark series by Ashton Blackthorne and I have to say this one is by far the best I've yet to read. As the title says it's definitely Twisted, in a dark and suspenseful way. This book is hotter than those before and I could not put it down!

In this book we learn more about Amber, we already know enough about Mr. B. but we do see some more about him. We learn a lot more about Amber's past, the secrets she has hidden. You can't help but want to cry for her and cheer for her.

We also are introduced to Ayden, Amber's hot boyfriend who also is into the lifestyle. Ayden who also resembles Ashton, coincidence? We learn that Amber likes kink and Ayden likes to be called Daddy (must have some daddy issues).

You'll have to read to find out for yourself how this love triangle works!

This is one book you do not want to miss.the dark suspence and sexual desires will keep you turning page after page until the very end leaving OMG what and who is this Ayden? The emotions and heartfelt moments will make you feel good and bad.
Going through Ambers past pained my heart,what her life had become but by god what a strong woman she was.Ashton seemed more relaxed opening up a bit more with his struggles compared to before and finding more answers but still haunted only to shut down again knowing what hes wanted all along,but can he have it and heal his broken heart.
Neither can catch a break but you can strongly see and feel the sexual frustration these two have for each other,I found myself cheering for them.
Mr Blackthorne did an amazing job with this book and I want more

What a way to start a new series, with a book so full of twist and turns that you will never know what is going to happen next. You have the death of Ashton’s father, his mother showing up at funeral, his demons, and then he has his secretary, Amber, that is on the again off again that would love to have more of him. But she is not without her own problems.
You will not be disappointed with this book. It’s a fast pace book that you will not want to put down because you don’t want to miss what is going to happen next and to how, Ashton or Amber. Oh, and the very steamy sex that is going on will melt your panties so just leave them in the drawer.

First off a warning... make sure whatever device you are reading on is fully charged and secondly make sure that no one is going to be home, because let me tell you the minute you start this book...you will be held prisoner by it until the very end!!
Twisted follows the Insatiable trilogy, and trust me you will want to read these first, as this story picks up right after these books.
We learn even more about Ash's past and the secrets kept from him, we also discover that Amber has many secrets...some that are coming back to stalk her.
There truly is nothing missing in this book with drama, vengeance, betrayal, twists and turns, violence and sex scenes so HOT your panties and seat will melt!
I loved this book!!!! And i cannot wait to see what book 2 will bring!!

Ummmmm

I am going to assume this was a first book, as the main character and author have the same name, so i will make some allowances for that. But this book badly needs an editor, a beta reader, and an actual bdsm practitioner to read it over and help get it where it needs to go. There is so much sexual violence committed by three different men in three different situations against the heroine, she should have been in life-long counseling, and it is frustrating to me to see this handled so casually and as a plot device (twice). The characters have the bones to be really interesting, and maybe in the next book they get fleshed out so we can see that. It's kind of a mess, but an interesting mess that i wish was straightened out to be a great book.

DNF only went half way maybe I will try again another day but doubtful. This guy is a joke. I find it hard to believe he is a true Dom. I just don't believe they goof around when scening at a club or anytime, to be honest, What is the point of scening if it's for fun you can do that anytime. I've read hardcore BDSM by people in the scene and the fluffy kind. And this is just not believable. I don't understand all the 5-star ratings. This is like a teenager putting his spin on being a Dom. I thought this was going to be more along the way of the Safeword series, not a comedian spinning a web since he claims to be a Dom. And then we have the grammar issues, like hello there are beta's out there or maybe an editor?

This is the fourth book I've read by Ashton Blackthorne and it's the first of a new serie. This time it's a much darker story that reveal itself. For every book I think the writing has improved. The stories has been captivating from the start from the first one, the way of writing is getting better for every book.
I said it was dark, didn't I. Some parts made my heart to ache and my stomach to hurt.
It's a really good book - the one that you want to read fast just so you can find out what happens next. At the same time you want it to last as long as possible.
I read an ARC thankfully, because I couldn't have waited for the release day

TWISTED by Ashton Blackthorne,  is just that, twisted, hot, sexy steamy and dark. We continue to learn more about Ashton and his life. He starts his own company. Amber and he become even closer.  Ashton is forced to deal with his mother, as Amber deals with her family and past as well. Someone from the past comes back to cause Ashton and Amber all kinds of trouble.
We learn more about both of their pasts, as  they do about each others.  This book is full of emotions. I can't wait to read more in this series. Ashton Blackthorne  really knows how to write a book that hooks you and doesn't let go.
