Myre by Claudya Schmidt enchants, abducts, inspires, delights the comic or elegant graphic novel reader with his pictorial language, a beguiling radiance and dynamics of images that cannot be compared with anything. The overall picture and the attention to detail are fascinating, dynamic processes create a cinematic and 3D feeling.
The story is kept exciting with hints and ignorance and is built up only slowly, so that something steps into the background. The journey, the adventure, the challenge and the daily struggle with the thorny and funny adversities is strong enough and offers reading pleasure at the highest level.
Unlimited admiration and recognition for this achievement, here the comic has arrived in art - highest purchase recommendation.

I came across this graphic novel through Claudya's social media. I was instantly moved by her artwork, and upon visiting her website, knew I needed to purchase the first volume of her comic. I was not disappointed. I am as much in love with this world as I thought I would be.

Claudya's first volume is rich in worldbuilding, and not only because of the incredible artwork, but also because of its storytelling and characters. I found this high dystopian fantasy, with its cast of anthropomorphic characters, to be unique and yet familiar in the best ways. The hard-shelled heroine with her soft side, Myre, and her steed and best friend, Varug. Their bond is fierce, loyal, and often times comical, making the pair all the more charming. The two characters are mirrors of each other and I'm looking forward to seeing the development of their relationship as the story continues.

Cooky, yet wise old men, thieves, and bandits, this story comes complete with them all.

I cannot wait for the second volume of this series and I would be remiss if I didn't say: Dragons. Claudya's artwork had me at some of the most gorgeous dragon designs I'd ever seen. How could I resist?

I rarely do buy comics, but this one is special and really worth it. The Story is compelling and the Art is really awesome. I especially like all the details, you can find. Each page is lovely illustrated and drags you in this special world.
It is as well dramatic and funny.
A special Bonus goes to the worldbuilding, which has its own beauty but also isn't a paradise. Good work! I am really looking forward to the next part!
(The only part i don't like is, that the series is not completely available yet.)

A spectacular opening to an intriguing world dripping with stories to tell. The titular character is rough, but lovable. She has a great balance of toughness and vulnerability, and not to mention that her companion Varug is the most precious girl in Yria. There is a lot of foreshadowing hidden within the immaculately painted pages, and hidden details and sweeping landscapes that can enrapture the eyes for hours.

The art is absolutely gorgeous. I just wish there had been (much!) more story in this!

The first thing you notice is the art. The flow of it, the colours and the level of detail which can get you hooked into the story and then looking for more and more in each panel as you discover the world of this fabulous story for yourself.
The pacing is well done and the characters interesting and lovingly designed. I can't wait to follow the characters further down their rabbit holes and I enjoyed the hell out of this book so much, I promptly bought another for a friend as a gift. It is the kind of book you share and talk about. The kind you dream with and wonder what if and what next.
The time spent developing this comic has been well spent.
Some pages can be a little dark and detail can be lost when you read it in a gloomy room, however this does not take away from it and it allows you to find more detail and information when you read it the next time. Because, with a book like this, there is a next time and a next and a...
