Tyler Nicholas creates a galaxy that is facing aliens with knowledge beyond their defenses. You feel you are right there defending your spaceship, or planet. Knowing that even the trained warriors cannot defend themselves leaves little hope for those still fighting to stay free.

Drake, a retired General, is stationed as security for an outer planet. When an unknown transport ships line the skies with only 10 minutes warning, Drake is desperate to save all that was entrusted in him. He quickly realizes this was planned; security cameras were turned off, communication is jammed, the electricity is cut off, and the shields are down. They weren’t here to kill, but for prisoners.

This scenario was happening throughout the galaxy and the Alliance and students from the Orlion Academy are teaming up to find where these people are being taken. Each planet is the same, people are missing, attacks are evident, and what little they know these aliens are invincible.

A good sci-fi read

This is a good story about a sci-fi world that is expanding beyond earth and colonizing other planets. Of course there is always going to be some issue and this one puts blade and the academy against an unknown force that can destroy force fields and is immune to bullets. The story is pretty well paced and the characters are developed and progress nicely. There are some editing errors but I found the book an overall enjoyable read. I like sci-fi and this one held my interest as I made my way through the story. Would reccomed to sci-fi lovers everywhere.

Aliens and magic, what more can you want? This is a quick grab riveting story and I could not put it down. Great story and well-written as well. Blade and Mutieto were awesome in all things magical. Wonderful characters. Looking forward to Book 2.

Star Wars ...ish :)

Being similar to Star Wars in this iteration is good ... as long it remains more like a ‘New Hop’ instead of the crap that has recently been released in that franchise it should be an entertaining space war story.

There is a lot going off in this first book of what looks like a interesting series. Many be a fewer main characters would have helped, more could have been introduced in later books, but I have enjoyed the ride so far.
