Big disappointment

For a police procedure novel it was simplistic and over the top. In one of the cases she solves a murder in Paris without any local police involvement in solving the crime. Really! So the local police let you get involved and solve this crime and oh (spoiler alert) the murderer confesses. I guessed the last murder before the author's surprised ending. The writing is stilted and awful. Do me a favor. Stop using "he cried or she cried" after every sentence.. I hope you do a better job in your next book.

Police mysteries

Most of the stories were not that interesting. The author wrote them so simply that it was as if you were writing them so a four year old would be able to understand them. Not much of plots but just dialogue.

Not too much Christmas involved

I would rate this more a 3.5 than a 4, the last story leaves you hanging - needing to buy whatever book will finish the story. No I am not going to buy whatever that book might be as it's taken me a week to read this one.
