A young couple wants to go to California. They have a quick stop at a run down filling station in the dessert. An old man, Cooper, the filling station attendant, is filling their car up and seems to be very enthusiastic about traffic jams and long lines of cars. He recommends them an alternative route. They come to a deserted motel where they find many purses and clocks heaped up in a room. The whole place has an uncanny and eerie atmosphere. As they travel on they encounter a seemingly endless traffic jam with all kinds of cars. What is going on here? Who stored all those items in the deserted motel? A roadmovie turns into a fine horror story. Very captivating and deranged. Recommended!
