This book has an autobiographical note on his writing. It also has an afterword by Biju Kanjangad.

പുതുമ നിറഞ്ഞ നിരവധി കഥകളുടെ സമാഹാരമാണ് രണ്ടു മത്സ്യങ്ങൾ. മനുഷ്യൻ പ്രകൃതിയെ നശിപ്പിക്കുമ്പോൾ പ്രകൃതി എങ്ങനെ തിരിച്ചടിക്കും എന്ന് തെളിയിക്കുന്നതാണ് ഓരോ കഥകളും. അതുപോലെ കാലം മാറുന്നതിനനുസരിച്ച് മനുഷ്യരുടെ ജീവിത രീതിയിൽ ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന മാറ്റങ്ങളും കഥകളിൽ കാണാം.
