I loved this story from the beginning. The characters are absolutely lovely and were a joy to read. Alexandra and Jackson have a history. Jackson is older than Lexi and was her brother's best friend until the day he died in a car crash. They have always had feelings for each other but being only a teenager when her brother died, Jackson decided to walk away from her because of her innocence as well as age. Jackson is a very dominant man and loves the BDSM lifestyle. He owns a cruise ship that caters to trips of many kinds for this lifestyle and normally doesn't get on the boat but decided to get on for this trip. Good thing too, because the woman that he has seen at previous clubs' and writes him sexy love letters is there as well. He doesn't know what she looks like but knows her name and also knows that she does everything except regular sex. He would like to change that. When he finds out the woman that he has been wanting is actually Lexi the girl he walked away from 4 years ago is life changing. When things happen on the ship that may break their trust, what will happen? I can tell you that this book is very well written and is really enjoyable to read. I'd give this one 4,5 stars if it wan't terribly short (156 pages). I am not a big fan of BDSM but this book was highly enjoyable and very hot! It's a BDSM, second chance, best friend's sister type book and it's really well written. The h is the H's best friend's little sister (12 years age difference). When she wa 18, she shared her feelings for him but he rejected her based on the primes she was too young and too innocent for him. He has never been able to forget her though. Now 4 years later, they meet again on his BDSM cruise ship (because, why not). They have been running into each other for the past half year already and minor detail, he doesn't know her true identity. So things unfold, there is minor drama, there is a menage, there is betrayal, there are dirty stories she writes him...and all that in 156 pages...

Great story. Jackson and Lexi have a short fling then he leaves claiming his age difference is too much for her. A few years later, they find each other again in the BDSM lifestyle only Jackson thinks that she's been stealing from him through her software company. I really enjoyed this story!!! I loved the characters! Jackson and Alexandra drew me in from the very beginning. This is a shorter story so it was a quick read for me. Once I started it, I didn't want to put it down. The sex is explicit and it does play a part as Jackson and Alexandra are into BDSM and they are on a BDSM boat. I loved the plot of the story. Alexandra and Jackson had a thing for each other when they were younger but because of their age difference and the timing of things that happened they didn't get their chance to be together. Alexandra has taken the time to figure out who she truly is and now she is out to prove to Jackson that she can handle him, that they are meant to be. The story was really well done. I fell in love with the characters and I couldn't wait to figure out how everything was going to work out. I loved the extra bit of Alexandra figuring out who was ripping Jackson off. The story flowed really well. I would love to get more from these characters and from the rest of the characters we get introduced to.

This was an interesting book for me as I did not know about it being a BSDM book before reading. I do not really enjoy these types of stories as they do nothing for me but this one was great! I loved the uniqueness of the story plot with it being on a curse ship. I loved the amazing hot scenes and the chemistry between the characters was off the charts. I loved the little bit of mystery that was added with the masked play, and the letters what were written from one main character to another were amazingly hot! I read this in one sitting as I could not put it down! The scenes were detailed and came to life on the page. There were a few parts that I had trouble following but I truly believe that it was because this was one of my first in this category, other “more experienced” readers will follow along easily. I just cannot explain to you enough the hotness of this story. I am so excited that I got to read it and will be looking for the next in this series. Highly recommend! I received an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.

This is my first novel by this author. I enjoy her writing style. The story centers around Lexi and Jackson. This is an older man/younger woman BDSM story.
Jackson runs a multimillion dollar business that includes a ship which caters to BDSM cruises to foreign ports.
Lexi is a genius who's company works for Jackson's. Lexi is in love with Jackson and has been ever since he came home with her brother.
Jackson loves Lexi too however, he does not believe he is good enough for her or that she should be in his lifestyle.
Lexi decides to see what the lifestyle is about after she realizes that vanilla isn't for her. She and Jackson have been having a relationship based on fantasies that she writes for him.
On the cruise together Jacksons is about to find out that the Alexandra he thinks he is having fantasies about is not the one that he actually is.
Jackson also believes someone about Lexi and will that cause a permanent break in their relationship?
The characters in this story are well written and the the plot line is believable. If you enjoy BDSM book you will like this one, especially the fantasy letters.

Alexandra (Lexi) and Jackson have taken steam and chemistry to a higher degree. Throw in the fact that Jackson is a multi millionaire and Lexi is brilliant at what she does. Add in a BDSM yacht and you have some interesting dialogue and action. A crush love story in that Jackson was Lexi's brother's best friend and she has always been attracted to him. He never felt like he would approve of his lifestyle or that he was good enough for her. A well written steamy short story with lots of twists and surprises. I received a reader copy and voluntarily chose to review it.

"Burned" is the first book in the "Zodiac Alphas" series of standalone novels. It is also a debut book from Gia Star. It is very well written and has an excellent plot. All characters well developed, exciting and believable. The idea of a ship that is a buoyant BDSM club was brilliant! All storyline turns were justified and executed seamlessly. I truly enjoyed reading this book and look forward to more from this new author. 5 shining stars!

I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.
I have to admit, I had my reservations as I started this book. I was afraid that it would be too deep in the BDSM world. For my taste, it was, but Star wrote it in such a way that it felt more sweet and loving than anything else. It pushed my personal limits but the plot and characters were interesting enough for me to continue. Recommended.

Jackson and Lexi have sizzling hot chemistry and very erotic. I certainly look forward to seeing the other characters in the series. I can honestly say I recommend this book.

OMG This is one HOT book. Kind of want to find a club like that but I know there aren't any here. Can't wait to read more in the Zodiac series. There was a lot of frustration when they were on the cruise and they were both keeping secrets from each other. Both wishing they could just tell the truth but without proof they couldn't risk it.

He thought she was too young and inexperienced for his dark sexual side even though he loved her. She had been in love with him for years but when he walked away four years ago she was really hurt. She finished college, co-owns her own company (which she is the brains behind not the face) and has decided to find out who she is sexually. She starts going to BDSM clubs at the urging of her business partner and sees him again and decided to pursue him without him knowing it is her.

When shit hits the fan will they be able to find their way back to love or has there been too many secrets kept?

Oh my I loved this story with the very very steamy steamy BDSM scenes, the tender passionate ones, the strong dominant older alpha man, and the beautiful, smart, sexy young woman. Jackson and Lexi are an amazing couple and the author did an amazing job of being able to write their feelings and passions that it jumps at you off the pages. The letters that Lexi writes are so so steamy and then when her fantasies come true with Jackson....WOW!! I needed a couple of cold glasses of water and then tissues when I couldn't stop the waterfall when reading the final story by Jackson.
Even though it didn't have an epilogue (I love my epilogues) I could not give it less than 5 stars.

Lexi has been in love Jackson for years, but gave it up when he turned her away. After running into each other in a BDSM club during a masquerade party, Jackson becomes obsessed with having her. When he discover who she really is, will he accept their relationship? Will Lexi be able to trust it's real when she discovers the reason behind his initial interest in her?

This book was hot! Loved the mix of sweetness and hot bdsm play. Loved how Jackson was willing to admit that he was wrong years ago and that he wasn't willing to believe Lexi was the one causing problems. Definitely love how Lexi knew and found herself, but admitted that she needed him! Definitely a hot read and cannot wait for more Zodiac Alphas!

Zodiac books are always a good read. Burned--with Jackson as an Aries-- is even better. This book is heavily into BDSM and may be difficult for some to read. The action takes place on a BDSM cruise in the Mediterranean with all sorts of interesting characters and a bit of cyber sleuthing as well.

Lexi and Jackson have been attracted to each other for years. Circumstances kept them apart but she is determined to show him she is more than ready for him now. She finds a way to draw him to her.

He is very much a Dom and used to being in control. He felt she was too young for him but she shows him she is ready for him and his desires. I really liked the story. It draws you right in and has an intimate feel to it.

Burned, the first book in the Zodia Alphas series, by Gia Star was amazing! I loved the tie in with the zodiacs. The Aries male is this story was steaming hot and the suspense story that went along with the impending romance that would be revealed was amazingly done. A little more 'hardcore' bdsm than I prefer especially the menage scenes with a non-committed third party. I prefer sex in my books be only between the committed couple or group. This was still a well written second chance story though, so 4 stars it is.

When she was 18 and kissed Jackson, he knew he was in trouble and left. Years later, Alexandra finds herself on his BDSM boat, trying to catch the person stealing from him with HER software. But she always wears a mask. When Jackson finds out it's her, he's amazed but accuses her of stealing from him without knowing all the facts. Good read.

He has only loved one woman, hes friends little sister Lexi but he walked away since she was too innocent to enjoy his dark desires. Now there is one woman who dominates his thoughts, Alexandra, a submissive who always wears a mask at BDSM clubs. He knows she is Alexandra and she is an owner of the company that provides his business software. What he doesn't know is that there are 2 Alexandra that own the company and the one he plans to own isn't the 40 year old widow.
Lexi was devasted when Jackson left her. Since he left, she has been exploring her own sexuality and discovers that she is a submissive that enjoys pain. She goes to BDSM clubs in a mask to hide her identity. She agrees to do almost anything but regular sex. She is hoping to get the chance to submit to Jackson but that isn't why she is on the cruise. Someone is using the software she wrote to steal from Jackson and she wants to set a trap. To set her trap, she must make it appear that she is doing the stealing at first.
Lexi has a lot of secrets and Jackson is in for a lot of shocks as her discovers each one. Even though this story has BDSM it isn't too extreme. There is also a lot of talk about astrological signs. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.

This is the first book that I have read by this author and it is an older man/younger woman story with elements of BDSM thrown into the mix. Lexi is a twenty-something technology genius who created a computer hospitality program that is used on cruise ships. Jackson is an alpha multimillionaire who owns a ship that hosts BDSM cruises for its patrons to foreign ports of call. Lexi has been in love with Jackson for many years as he was her brother’s best friend. Jackson realizes that he loves Lexi but due to the age difference and the fact that she is his best friend’s little sister, he does not feel worthy of her nor does he feel that she would be able to handle his lifestyle. As Lexi grows up, she finds herself immersed in the alternative lifestyle looking for Jackson once she realizes that a vanilla life is not for her. Jackson and Lexi begin a relationship via handwritten fantasies that she writes for him but she uses the name Alexandra. As someone is stealing money from Jackson, it seems as if Alexandra is going to cross his path. What will Jackson do when he finds out the truth? Can they have the relationship they both want? This is a well written story although the beginning started out a bit slow for me. If you want to give your romance a bit of a boost then you will definitely like the fantasy letters to add some spice.

I know what you are thinking....a BDSM boat!!!! But, actually Gia Star and Josephine Jade make this work in such a delicious way that once you begin reading and hop on board the boat, you certainly don't put down until the cruise is long finished!
Lexi and Jackson are well written characters and the development of their romance means that you get to live vicariously through their own 'fantasy letters' that Lexi, as the masked beauty who intrigues Jackson, writes so descriptively for him. As usual the course of true love (or should that be submission) never does run smooth for these two but, it's certainly a wild ride reading how Gia and Josephine guide us through these bumpy waters!

I loved this unique take on a BDSM romance and I can't wait to see which alpha male finds his love next!

This is such an amazing read! My first read by Josephine but not my last.
This brings two people together that enjoy the same things sexually but because of reasons beyond their control they couldn't get past their problems. So Lexi takes the problems into her own hands and brings Jackson to his knees.
