Hard to believe that a ship went down on Lake Erie large enough to have 32 railroads cars on board and it has never been found. This is an account of the loss of the Marquette & Bessemer No. 2 on Lake Erie in a storm. There is a lot of history mixed with educated guesses about what happened on the night it was lost. There is a lot of information from before, during and after the storm that is solid.

It is a very entertaining and at times heart breaking read.
