"It is great, and has always been great, to be a Cubs fan." Being a Cubs fan is great but you'll want to know some facts before you can call yourself a true Cubs fan. This book gives you facts and flashbacks from the Chicago Cubs' past that any true Cubs fan would want to know. This book also gives you an in-depth look back on past events in Cubs history like the horrible playoff collapses, The Sandberg game, and the double no-hitter. This book gives you all you need to know about the Cubs and more.

One thing that was very effective was the titles before each chapter. Each title made you more engaged because they were so intersting and weird. Every title would catch your eye with the detailed word choice. Another thing that I found very effective was that the author never spent too much time on one specific subject. The author would just say the main details and give some background information then move on to the next subject. This was very effective because it kept you from getting bored. The last thing that I thought was very effective was the little side facts the author put in to give you a little bit of a deeper understanding on the topic.

I believe this book is great but its not for everyone. This book is for the sports loving people. If you were looking for a book with action and adveture this would not be the book for you. But if you were looking for a book with historical facts and in depth detail of past events this book is definitely for you. Read this book.

A nice, easy read for any die-hard Cubs fan. Nothing too in-depth about the team, but a great overview of important historical moments, games, players, and milestones that any true fan should be familiar with. Enjoyable read!

Probably less things to do and more about telling random Cubs stories, but as a die hard Cubs fan I can read about old Cubs history and stories with pleasure. An easy and fun read.

I'm currently in school taking 3 classes so this is my fun, a couple of pages before I go to bed, book. It's a light read, and more important, i'm a huge Cubs fan so I go to bed happy after reading a chapter.
