Best methods of study

Rate this book
Most books on methods of study have stressed general ideals and theories. Few indeed are the texts which provide the student with practical helps. For the college freshman or high-school senior, this volume presents a brief summary of suggestions applicable to his immediate needs. The author believes that a more extensive book might be desirable. As at present organized, however, colleges and secondary schools, with rare exceptions, could not make practical use of a highly detailed or elaborate treatise in this field. The author has, therefor, endeavored chiefly to answer the student's urgent questions, What shall I do ? and How shall I do it ? For the most part, only important points have been included.
