Very Enjoyable!

This was a very enjoyable read! It was a quick, light and sexy read. I enjoyed both Killian and Alicia, they were very likeable, well developed characters. This is the first book that I have read from Carter Blake and I will definitely read more!

I'm a sucker for "Curvy" or "BBW" romances, because that's the most accurate reflection of me physically, so after reading a preview of this, I was interested in reading more. The book is short and quick, but suffers somewhat because of it. It didn't feel fully fleshed out to me. I liked Killian and Alicia, they definitely had chemistry, but also felt a bit flat to me, probably because of the brevity of the book. By the end of it, I was feeling vaguely unsatisfied with it, as if there had to be more to the story. While this was an enjoyable read, I'm not sure I'd read the author again.

This is the first book that I have read by the author and enjoyed the repartee between the characters. Alicia has only ever wanted to be a designer. She is currently working at a lingerie company, which is her dream job. Her boss is rude, ineffective and essentially fires her until Killian arrives to turn the company around and save it from the ashes. When the two first meet there is evidence of a spark beginning to ignite made more appealing by Alicia’s apparent talent for creating a new line of undergarments. The more time they spend together, the closer they become. Suddenly, Killian is gone leaving Alicia to wonder. Can the two make a relationship work? Can Alicia’s designs finally get the respect they deserve and maybe turn the company around?
This is a very pleasant storyline that keeps the reader interested because of its likeable characters. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Not bad worth reading

Killian and Alicia good love story and the attraction and action took awhile. Killian is at Lacy Lovey company to help from bankruptcy. Finds one sexy Alicia designer who can help build the company back out of the red. Lillian has also been hurt and poor Alicia is being blackmail by an ex. Must read.

Great storytelling, sweet love story. Jillian and Alicia are drawn together as soon as they make eye contact, chemistry is strong, too strong to stand against. Sheets get Hot! Love takes over makings for a HEA. Worth the read! Carter did it again.

A Sense Of Rightness💋🔥

Killian🐺 is a turn around specialist. He comes into failing companies and turns them around to be profitable again. He's a fixer.
When he is sent to fix a lingerie manufacturing company, he sees that the real talent, Alicia💋👙, a designer, has been stifled by her know nothing boss. The boss won't allow Alicia's designs to be used, instead using outdated spandex designs of her own. She is bankrupting the company.
When Killian🐺 shows up , he spots the problem right away and fires Alicia's boss.
Now he has the problem of Alicia💋🔥👙 to deal with. Only he is so attracted to her he doesn't know what he is going to do.
He does know her designs need to be seen and he makes it happen.
Killian is the naaasssty🔥 love em💔 and leave em bad boy🐺🍌🌋💪. He travels extensively and doesn't want to be tied down. He has a new woman in every town. Yet when he gets to know Alicia💋🔥, he starts to think about settling down.
Alicia💋🔥 is infatuated with Killian🐺🍌👋🌋 from the time she met him, but she thinks he will leave when his work is done, leaving her behind. Regardless, she decides to make hay while the 🌞sun shines! Killian🐺🍌🌋👋🔥 is so strong, so alpha, so much big hot naaasssty🔥 fun!

Wow is all I can say! I mean wow. This is a first for me by this author and what can I say about it that I loved it.

The chemistry between Alicia abs Killian is off the charts. I mean from the first moment they laid eyes each other during an unexpected encounter was HOT.

Killian is the type of man who does not stay in the same place for a period of time but that changed when he lays is eyes on a sexy curvaceous woman. Hell I wish I was Alicia. But he's there for a job and he cannot let her get to him.

Alicia is a sexy woman who knows what she likes and what women would like to wear. She is trying to be this up coming lingerie designer but a certain someone is blocking her chances of letting that happen.

That is until she sees Killian but can he give her what she wants if he doesn't plane on being there for a long period of time?

Well worth it and very hot. Can't wait to read more books in the future.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. What a great book. I loved the story of Alicia and Killian. There chemistry is sexy and hot. He is not use to staying in one place for long when he comes in to fix problems with companies. He says that is just not who he is. For Alicia he is beginning to wonder if maybe his way of being needs to change. He can see how talented she is at work and doesn't want to hold her back. At the same not only does he enjoy being with her outside of work, he also lies working with her. This is a quick and fun read. I loved how the both of them were able to turn around what seems like a company on the verge of failing , due to Alicia former boss who was not doing anything to make the company a success, and turned it into something great. I recommend this book for anyone who loves a quick read with a great HEA.

Another fabulous book from Carter Blake! Loved this book. This is the story of Alicia and Killian.
Alicia designs underwear for a company that is slowly going under due to the terrible design decision that her boss is making..... along comes Killian to rescue the company! The two of them meet and sparks fly. The book is hot and the sex is great :-)
This is a fab storyline and characters are brill too. Really great read and highly recommended.

This is an insta-love story. When Killian is brought in to Love Lace to try to save the company, he never expected to meet Alicia. Alicia just wanted to design her every-woman style lingerie. When they meet sparks fly and Killian wants nothing than to help Alicia fly with her designs and the company. Why are all of these lonely feelings popping up now?. Alicia has a scommy ex blackmailing her. Can she finally put a stop to it? Where will a relationship with Killian lead and can she give him her heart? You will have to read to find out.

I really love it! Hot, sexy, wonderful… I not have words to explain correctly!!
It's great, you read it fast, the story absorbs you and when you finish the book says “Really? Is finished? Already??!?!?” I read it in a day and I spent a good time with this story, I can say I LOVE IT!!

What can I say? The female main character, Alicia is a normal person, don’t misunderstand me, in a good mode. She loves her body, has a problematic ex-boyfriend, loves his job even if sometimes it has her headaches but she likes it and she continues with it even if she has a lot impediments to express her own ideas and tastes. Honestly, I think we can have an Alicia next to us or we can be an Alicia.
And the male main character? Killian’s definition is: “I work because I love it, not because I need the money” When he helps the company where Alice works, he founds something valuable and he can’t live without that… and no, not is money. *wink*
Killian arrives to Lace Love’s lingerie company to re-float it, and is there where he sees Alicia for first time. She feels grateful because if he had arrived five seconds later she would have been fired because her designs “are not what the company needs”.
Kilian not only sees the Alicia’s potential and designs. He sees a woman who fight for that she wants and loves, because Alicia knows that every woman, whatever she may be, want to feel sexy with her underwear, if is for show it, or feeling attractive or powerful.
But Killian's work has an end, like all the others he has done before and when the company can keep on its own, he will go to another place, another city, another state ... leaving behind not only the job but also to Alicia, but she's under his skin and does not know what to do.

Si digo que me gustó miento porque ¡ME ENCANTÓ! Es caliente, sexy, increíble… de verdad, no tengo palabras para explicarme.

Es la segunda historia de Carter Blake que leo, tengo las otras pendientes y las leeré en no tiempo.
¿Qué decir de esta? La protagonista, Alicia, es normal. No me mal-interpretes, es en el buen sentido. Ha conseguido amar su cuerpo, un ex problemático, un trabajo que ama pero que a veces le da dolor de cabeza, pero le gusta lo que hace y sigue con ello aunque le pongan muchos impedimentos para expresar sus ideas. Sinceramente, podríamos tener a una Alicia a lado del autobús o incluso serlo nosotras mismas.
¿Y el protagonista? Killian. Definición de: “hago este trabajo porque me gusta, no porque necesite el dinero”. Pero al entrar a ayudar a la empresa encuentra algo más que no sabía que necesitaba y que no puede vivir con ello. Y no… no es tener más dinero.
Killian llega a la empresa de lencería Lace Love para reflotarla y ahí es donde ve por primera vez a Alicia. Ésta se siente agradecida porque si hubiera llegado 5 segundos más tarde hubiera sido despedida porque sus diseños “no eran lo que la empresa quería”.
Killian ve no solo el potencial de Alicia y sus diseños, sino también más allá. Es una mujer que lucha por lo que quiere, y lo que desea es que cada mujer, sea como sea, se sienta sexy con su ropa interior, ya sea para lucirla, sentirse atractiva o poderosa.
Pero el trabajo de Killian tiene un final, como todos los otros que ha hecho anteriormente y cuando la empresa pueda mantenerse por ella misma partirá a otro lugar, otra ciudad, otro estado… dejando atrás no solo el trabajo sino también a Alicia, pero ella se ha metido dentro de su piel y no sabe que hacer.

Like this title of this book, it is HOT! It is a quick, ultra sexy read. Killian is the typical gorgeous alpha male and Alicia is a talented curvy designer. She was comfortable in her own skin, which you don't see much these days. Their chemistry is thick and so hot that you might need a cold shower after reading.

Killian has been hired to come in and save it. These two form a fast connection- and are all about each other and leaving spandex in the past! What will happen when Killian's time is up with the company?
Will Alicia's sordid past come back to haunt her?
Sexy, sweet wit-filled read! Jam packed full of all the tantalizing things Carter Blake is known for! 4.5 Stars from me!

This is the second book I have read of Carters, and it is just as awesome as the previous one.
Alicia is a very relatable character. She has her own insecurities but she also knows her strengths, fighting for herself should she need to.
Killian is hot. Who doesn't like an alpha male that rolls over and purrs when he falls for his woman?
Beautifully written book that I highly recommend.
