He stalked me from the moment he saw me. He watched me day and night.

Butcher is what everyone calls crazy. They see all the tattoos and scars and to be honest, to most people he looks downright scary. He’s dangerous. He is after all the enforcer to the Devil Souls MC.

But to me? He’s just Butcher. I see him. I see who he really is. I see a man who will do anything for the people he cares about. I see the man who will protect and love me above everything else.

I am just as obsessed with him as he is me. I will die for him and he would kill for me.

What everyone doesn’t know is I have the same crazy inside of me...

This book can be read as a stand-alone but I recommend reading the others first to get the full experience.

This is another "What was I thinking?" read I just could not finish. I REALLY didn't like book one, but I thought I would give this one a go and see if maybe that book was a fluke...ya NO. I got 50 pages into this one, and I just couldn't do it anymore. The heroine is SOOO laughably cheesy and OTT. I guess we are supposed to believe she is all BADASS, but she honestly just came off as some cheesy B movie psycho in need of some serious therapy.

So I am skipping the whole "three strikes, and you are out" scenario with this author and calling it a day at two. Lesson learned...

IT'S LIVE!

**ARC RECEIVED IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW **

It's so refreshing to read a MC story that is safe. They are virtually unheard of. I love that LeAnn Asher can give us a great story without the club whores and the secondary characters being nasty manwhores.

What do you do when you have a broody, scarred hero who is a bit crazy and keeps to himself? You find a strong, feisty heroine who is equally crazy and you make them fall in love (instalove)

I adored Butcher and his Shay. Butcher was in full throttle stalker mode when it came to Shay. He was OTT and alpha to the max. He put her on such a pedestal. He let her see the side of him that nobody ever saw, the softer, sweeter side.

Shay was a hoot. Growing up in a MC, her dad and brother both being high ranking members, she was tougher than your average bakery owner. She was just the match that Butcher needed. I loved them together.

-no cheating
-no ow/om drama - a club whore tried to flirt with Butcher he immediately put a stop to it and then Shay put a hurting to her. Butcher was 100% devoted to Shay.
-no pushing away
-instalove
-some steamy scenes (my inner perv could have had more)
-violence related to the MC club
-great secondary characters - I loved the characters. The men were awesome. We didn't have to watch the single ones being whores. There is nothing worse than seeing a secondary character being nasty and then trying to forget their nastiness when it's their turn to be a hero. I've stopped several series because of this. Miss Asher can come up with a story without all of the ow/om drama and it love it.
-great epilogue - I definitely loved the epilogues and she showed us that we can have great epilogues in a series!

3.75 'Stalkerish' Stars

Well, Butcher is finally here, and I can honestly say I was very surprised by his character. Since his first cameo on the first book of the series, I’ve been wondering about the dark, silent and scary Devils Soul MC enforcer, and yes, he is indeed all that and more, but from the moment he set his eyes on Shay, we saw a lot more from him. A whole stalkerish more, LOL!

She is mine. She was mine the moment I laid eyes on her.

With one look, Butcher really found his perfect counterpart, because with Shay, LeAnn Ashers really created the perfect heroine to fit with his crazy and blood thirsty nature. Or maybe even surpass him…

Fucking crazy. I grin back at her. She’s perfect.

OMG, she really was a nut, and spitfire of a woman, but with her background, how could it not be?! She was raised to be a badass, and that is what she is.

I am not a totally normal person, nor am I sane. I fight and have a temper that gets the best of me, but I am who I am. I am the daughter of the ex-president of the Grim Sinners. I grew up seeing violence, and I wasn’t affected because it happened when it was necessary.

Sadly, at times, and like in the previous book, but here in less expression, these characters, and specially the female main characters tended to have crazy OTT reactions, far to exaggerated, which made them lose credibility as a whole. I love strong personalities, either in their fragility or craziness, but I want to believe them and consistency in the behaviors, and that’s where Shay lost me a bit.

Shay really was as hot tempered as she claimed, and we get some awesome moments where we end up laughing with her craziness, but no one enjoys her shows more than Butcher. How could he not, he’s there every single moment to appreciate it and see he found his perfect match.

Him stalking me isn’t the most conventional way to go about all of this but, like I said, MC men aren’t normal, and Butcher is something different altogether.

You all know how much I love a good stalker Hero, and Butcher was ALWAYS there, shadowing Shay every single moment of her day and night – even though the author took it to the extreme, 24/7, when we all know that is humanly impossible, and therefore created again some inconsistencies in the plotline – and his devotion shone through in every action. I honestly loved him, and his stalkerish OTT behavior was more than justified by events of his past. I could practically feel his fear of losing her. With that one look, she became his whole world.

I am in fucking trouble, because she owns me. She has owned me from the first smile.

I was just dead inside, and I continued to be that way until you, my Shay. You made me feel for the first time in a long time. It fucking eats at me when you leave my sight, because I can’t stand the thought of something happening to you.”

I got demons, Shay, but you make that shit less haunting. Your light keeps them at bay.”

For a silent type, Butcher really made us swoon every time he spoke and revealed his feelings to Shay. Only ever to her. He was still the dark and scary badass biker to everyone else, but to her and their family he revealed his true light, his love and care. Of course Shay knew that this was her true treasure. His undying love, that she gave in return too, and knew that he cherished above all else.

“I just love you, Butcher.” She snuggles her head in my chest.
My heart beats a little faster. She loves me, this crazy fucker who thrives on violence.
I can say one thing though.
No one will love her as much as I do.

This man really was fantastic, I tell you, Butcher made this book for me, I could FEEL the fragility of his heart like the was placing it in our – in reality Shay’s – hands. My heart broke for him and his longing, for a family, and love.

My family. For the first time I have everything I never I thought I would have but dreamed I would.

“I have nightmares that this is a dream,” Butcher whispers and my heart breaks a little at his words. His dark eyes look deep into mine, his face scarred up and beautiful.
“It’s real. I am real.” I take his hand and press it to my heart. “This is yours.”
“I don’t deserve you, my Shay. But I am selfish and will take you any way I can.”

There he goes again making my black heart hurt… *Cue teary eyes*

I have to say I enjoyed Butcher’s book than its predecessor, and if not for the inconsistencies, unnecessary over description and repetition, and some discrepancies, I would have love it even more, after all, you can tell how much I loved the Hero. Those things, though in much less quantity than in the previous book, managed to yet again, distract me from the story itself, when in fact I normally would have loved and devoured a this book, given it was a safe MC read, and we all know how hard it is to come by one. It’s like a freaking safety unicorn, lol!

Nonetheless, I feel for Butcher, and enjoyed his, and Shay’s story, we can she the countless potential for spinoffs and more installments with the huge number of interesting side characters, and I’m sure LeAnn Ashers will give us a deeper look into them and maybe their own tale, and I can’t wait to see who comes next! Maybe Lane?! After that teaser bit with the vet, I need to know more! <3 <3 <3 <3

Once he loves, he loves with all of his heart and soul. That is Butcher.

This is the beginning of our happily ever after.”
Shaylin gives me that heart-shattering smile. “To crazy, unconventional love.”

"You will be okay, my Shay."

description

Butcher is the third book in the Devil Souls MC Series. However, it can be read as a stand-alone. Shay is the princess of the Devil Souls MC. She is the pride and joy of her father and brother's life, and although she happily claims her place in the club, she is thriving as a civilian running her bakery. Butcher is a damaged bad boy of the club. He has taken a particular interest and Shay and stalks her in order to keep her safe. He isn't quite ready to take her and make her his and yet, Shay is more than willing to claim him as hers. As these two finally find their way into each other's arms, an HEA seems like it is right in their grasps, and yet, as their adversaries rise against them, it will take everything they have to fight for each other.

description

Overall, Butcher will appeal to readers who enjoy a quick and easy read with insta-love, an abundant amount of "attack and rescue," and a story with multiple plots running at the same time. Although both Butcher and Shay were appealing characters on the surface, I didn't feel that their character development was complex enough for me to connect with either of them. I rarely find myself in a situation where I am so conflicted. The plot twists and turns in so many unbelievable directions, it was somewhat hard for me to keep up and stay grounded in the story. This was my first read by this author, and although this read didn't appeal to me, it could be a 5 STAR read for someone else! Happy reading!

DNF!!

2 Hit me in the head STARS..
See what I did there ^^^^^^ 😬

I really hope I don't get attacked by this author's fans...but I'm so done with her.. I'm parting ways, I used to like her books well it was only 2 books that I liked..
I don't know but am I the only one who notices inconsistencies in this book?

The heroine said that she's the club's princess because she's the only girl and all the members only has sons but couple of paragraphs later she said that her brother who's the president of the club has a daughter too sooo.... Which one is it?
When she sees the hero she mentions his name but again couple of paragraphs later she's asking her brother what's the hero's name? uhh but she already had said his name... *facepalm*

“I am not someone who fights people"

1- She hit her niece's mother in the head with a plate.
2-She hit a man in the head with tip jar because he wouldn't let go of her hand.
3- She was about the hit hero in the head because he slept outside her house.
4- She beat up her best friend's cousin. (Just because the woman called her a b*tch)

Oh no no but she's not someone who fights people?
Someone has some anger issues.

I'm all for a stalker hero as long as the heroine doesn't know she's being watched by him but this hero is right down creepy I mean he's just standing there looking at her she's knows he's there so he's not technically a "stalker" IMO since she knows he followed her and he's watching her what she's doing, he's standing there like a statue.. This definitely sounds like a Michael Myers's or Jason's movie with him there looking creepy at you and waiting for him to jump you and kill you.

And this was only on the first 39 pages of 277.
Yeah I'm not going to be able to take more of this heroine because someone is cookoo..

Anyway just because the book is not for me doesn't mean it's not for you..

Virgin heroine.. Woohoo!! Yay!!! (NOT)

So...I got to chapter 10 and I just couldn't continue reading. Why? Well, there are simply too many inconsistency issues for me. At first the author writes one thing, like that there are no women in the MC family, later turns out the leader has a daughter; the heroine isn't a violent person, later she beats people up like they are on sale or something; then the story starts off with the heroine knowing hero's name but later asks her friends what that persons name is; or that the heroine already touched the hero but later on says that it's the first time she's touched him...and so on...

I liked the plot but sadly that wasn't enough to keep my attention and to overlook all the authors mistakes.

This was a great read. I enjoyed it from start to finish. Butcher and Shay were so sexy and freaking crazy. The hero is a patient, but determined beast of a man. He's earned the name Butcher and she loves his dark side because she's equally dangerous.

Let me add, "Did she smile while doing it?"

I smiled as I read this book and now I have to get my hands on the rest of her books.

I liked the storyline ok. The h was a bit OTT at times. Butcher was sweet and a badass. The thing that bugs me about this author’s writing is that she NEVER uses contractions. It takes me out of the story at times. Nobody talks like that especially not a badass from an MC. It’s too proper. Without that I would have given this another star. I’m looking forward to Lane’s story but the one I’m REALLY waiting for is Liam and Paisley.

Well... this was disappointing. After reading the first page I was pretty sure this was headed for a downward spiral.

I rolled my eyes right from the start because the first chapter was a narrative exposition which didn't seem necessary.

I am having dinner. I moved to this town, and I work here. I like it here a lot. This is my brother, this is what my brother does. La de da... description, description blah...

And do not get me started on the OTT violent tendencies by Shaylin. I know this is a MC novel but seriously walking into peoples homes and hitting them over the head with a plate because you don't like them? Punching people in the face because they piss you off?

"I'm not someone who fights people, but that woman deserved it.

Ummm not someone who fights people? I beg to fucking differ.

Like what the hell man, it was just getting to be way too much. Shaylin was the most unrelatable and unlikable heroine I have encountered. Like I'm sorry but being an MC princess does not give you the right to be so obnoxious and carefree about your actions.

SECONDLY- why did there have to be soooo many bloody incidents? For the length of the book it was just getting to be a bit ridiculous that she was attacked so many times. A total magnet for danger which got irritating after a while.

Anyways I can really go on an extremely long rant but I wanna cut it short. I did start to enjoy some bits towards the end which earned an extra star from me. But overall I'm disappointed because I really did enjoy the first few books in this series and do like the authors work. I will read the next book and hope it works out better :)

I love stories that make you smile throughout. Butcher is a stalker, but he is awesome. Loved him. Shaylin, I loved her too, always smiling when she is hitting someone, so funny. Safety: Villain talks of taking what he wants from the h. So much better the second time around. The only ow/om drama is from people who want the mcs, very quickly put to rest.

Star Ratings:
Heroine (Shaylin): 25yrs old
Hero (Butcher): 30s?
Plot: 2/5
Grovel: none
Cheating: none
HEA: yes with kids
Triggers: none

Average score: 2.5/5

Best Line: “We aren’t normal, but isn’t normal overrated?”

Worst Line: “I get major creepy vibes, because he is like a dog panting over me. I feel like he is harmless, but he is annoying nonetheless.”

Personal Review:
An ok insta-romance between a baker and a biker

Random Ramblings:
•Weird intro
•Why is he stalking her??
•The h is really annoying me. She comes across very strongly as stuck up
•I thought they would spend the whole book not even talking to each other…it was getting ridiculous
•You can’t ask them to do that and then complain that they are corrupt!!
•I do like that there is no other woman drama
•Leann Ashers epilogues are always great

Overall Feeling:

There were many times (especially during h POV) that I just wanted to…

Pretty decent length and both alpha's.

We met Butcher in Torch and Shalyin in Lane.. and its love at first site but it takes Butcher few more to finally say "shes mine" even when he's following her eveywhere lol

Shalyin is a MC princess she been raised by these hardcore men and had well a crazy side.. i enjoy alittle crazy and tough act.. but i have to say im tired of the Alpha female.. it just doesn't mix with me.. on how OTT some of these ladies are.. like i get cat fights but to beat down a person or man.. its alittle to much for me..

Beside that turn off.. Butcher was a good boyfriend and uncle/daddy even with his crazy butcher ways lol. I skimmed alot in this book because i just disliked the female OTT alphaness.. i love the plots.. just not the alpha on the ladies..

FTC DISCLAIMER: I RECEIVED AN E-ARC FROM THE PUBLISHER. I VOLUNTARILY OFFER MY HONEST REVIEW OF THE BOOK, THOUGH IT IS NOT EXPECTED OF ME! RECEIPT OF THIS BOOK IN THIS MANNER DOES NOT AFFECT MY OPINION OF THE BOOK OR THE CONTENT OF MY REVIEW!

Having never read this author before, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Immediately upon starting this, I noticed many problems with it that hampered my enjoyment of the story.

The first thing I noticed was the extremely stilted dialogue. The characters only used contractions minimally, which made them abnormal sounding and pretentious. I couldn’t understand why they would talk as if they were preppy rich people, when they really weren’t in that social station. It really jarred me out of the story!

Then, there was the “confusing one character for another or misspelling their name” situation. Lexi was called Mary at the outset of the fight in the Nightclub, the specific line being {Quote} “Get her, boys!” Mary screams at the top of her lungs. I brace myself for the attack. Mary grabs the back of my shirt and tries to pull me back. {End quote} (Emphasis mine.) The other instance that I noticed was in the epilogue, where the baby’s name went from Zach to Zack. Again, it was jarring and furthered my dissatisfaction with the story.

The next point I had about the book was the fact that the book was more of a narrative, where were are told everything that happens, rather than shown. It led me to not really care about the plot or characters, because I couldn’t imagine them for myself. The lack of ability to use my imagination was another point against the book.

The final point I had was that the story was TOO focused! While this is part of a larger series, we don’t actually get to see any background on the previous characters that were written about or the club in general. I hadn’t read any of the previous books in the series before reading this one, so I can honestly say that this was definitely a standalone story. As someone who prefers to read series novels in order, I didn’t care for the lack of connection to the larger series.

I do have to say, I was able to get through this book quickly, and it was engrossing enough to keep my attention on it, which is a testament to the author’s skill. However, with all the previous issues I mentioned with this book, I likely will delete any books I currently own by this author from my Kindle library and add her to my Authors to Avoid list.

Thoughts - on Series

Let's start off by saying that this was a brand new author for us and are we throughly enjoy this MC box set was each and every club members story was a blast. One thing we loved most about the series is that we loved all the characters as well as the women that they made their old ladies.

Out of all the stories Torch and Techy's stories were my favorites and I definitely developed a bit of a soft spot for both of them and in my opinion were definitely swoon worthy. One thing I loved about all these MC members how protective they were of their women as it was hot as hell and sure made me want to have one of them for my own ! lol It amazed me how all of them new for the onset of meeting their women that they were the one for them and took what the wanted right then and there. They had claimed their women from the onset of meeting them but, what I loved most is how each and every one of them courted their women as it was really sweet and endearing and boy did they spoil them lol. I will also say that I was in awe of these men as It was evident from the onset of the story how dangerous and violent these men could be but, when I came to their women in their presence they were all little lambs. All these men it was like they had two different personalties at any given time as the could be sweet and kind and caring as well as possessive and protective but, the minute their women or brothers or their families were threatened a switch was flipped and they all became lethal deadly killing machines.

Torch and Kayla what a whirlwind romance as Torch saved Kayla from being a victim of a women trafficking ring and from the minute they met is protective instincts took over and he was a goner.Kayla impressed me with her independence and the life she lived and never let her blindness get the best of her.I loved how regardless of her blindness she new for the onset of meeting Torch that he would be someone who she could trust. Omg ! did this couple have chemistry! I loved them together they were so sexy together and clearly perfect for one another.I loved Kayla she was one tough cookie and I have to say I loved the set down she gave a prospect who insulted her she had me laughing out loud when she took care of business.I loved Torch's possessiveness, his protective instincts and how he raised his daughter all on his own and did a damn good job of it.We also loved all those dark bits of him he is someone you definitely one someone in your corner.

Techy and Alisha were another favorite couple of ours. Techy made me hot !He surprised me the most as he was totally a alpha and I never really expected that of him.I loved his protective instincts of Alisha and the lengths he went to keep her safe.Omg !Techy was one totally sexy hot alpha that made a girls panties wet! We enjoyed the romance between Alisha and Techy as it was a sweet courtship but, once he claimed her fully we saw a whole other side of his alpha-ness but, most of all he an Alisha were perfect for another and made the cutest couple."We loved them !"

Butcher & Shaylin

Butcher was definitely a character that was full of layers as well as being very dark, dangerous and he carried this sadness and heartache around constantly with him and our heart broke for the pain he carried around within him all the time. Shaylin was a character that was a lot of fun as she was one of those little bad-asses. I loved the little MC princess who seemed deal with intense situations cool and calmly and never flinched and is someone you want in your corner when crap is going down around you.We loved how confident she always seem to be and yet surprised us in the next breath with owning a bakery and baking being her passion as it seemed so out of character for her.Did I mention she was a club Princess of another club and had a over protective father (Smiley) and brother (Lane) and a whole slew of uncles who were over protective of her and then comes along the Butcher from the Devil Souls who is dark and dangerous and claims her from the moment he set eyes on her.Can you say shit hit the fan ! lol Omg ! Did we love how Butcher finally claimed Shaylin as it was priceless! We loved their ending as it was perfect and we loved seeing Butcher for the first time in which seemed like forever happy.

Liam and Paisley

Poor Paisley has been the one women who has been getting targeted the most due to
the fact that she is the Club Princess of the Devil Souls and also the fact that her father Torch is their VP is not helping matters it just makes the target bigger.Liam and Paisley have been in love with each other since High School but, after years apart he is back to claim his women. This story was full of tons of drama due to the fact the the clubs enemies have been targeting the old ladies so as you can imagine the war became more deadly and the club is out to eliminate their enemies and their out for blood.

Liam was yet another alpha in the mix of things. We love his cockiness his swag and good looks. We loved his possessiveness and how protective he was of Paisley but, one thing for sure is Paisley is no wilting flower.Liam his some brass balls for sure taking on Torch Paisley's father when it comes to claiming his baby girl.We have to say there were some
really funny standoffs between the two throughout the story that made us laugh out loud more than once.

Paisley and Liam made the perfect couple they were so sweet together. This couple had major chemistry and were clearly deeply in love with one another.I loved Paisley's sense of humor and outgoing personality. One of the things we loved about Liam as well as
the other members is how when they are in public with their women they make sure the men around them know for sure their women are claimed by them which
made for some memorable moments throughout the story time and time again. lol

We loved the conclusion to this on going series as this last story was filled with so much drama had tons of sub plots and the story had you on edge even more wondering if they all were going to come out un scathed from this war.I have to give a shout out to the old ladies of this club as they made us laugh out loud time and time again not only that we loved how they
had each others back and even proved it once or twice which lead to some really hilarious moments.

For us this was a awesome series as all the character's were all so love-able that you could not help but form and connection with them.We loved that these dark and dangerous men found their perfect mates and although the road to their happily ever after was fraught with twists and turns and danger we loved falling in love with these character's along the way and we really enjoyed being on their adventures to get their.he entire series

Butcher was the third book in the Devil Souls MC series by LeAnn Ashers.

Shayla was the daughter and sister to the Grim MC former and current president. She was the MC princess. She was raised fully protected by the MC but also raised to be independent and could rival any threat.

Butcher was a patched member of the Devil’s Souls MC, a friend to the Grim’s. He lost his family when he was younger and was a Navy Seal. He had demons and had crazy down to an art. The second he locked eyes with Shayla, he was forever hers.

I’m now not only used to Ashers’ over the top writing style but I expect it, anticipate it and love it. Through it, she gave me my over protective yet sweet alpha, my strong kickass woman and a suspenseful MC storyline. I couldn’t have been happier. Remember, if you like over the top, then you’ll love this series. If not, well then not so much. For me, it was perfect and a quick, light hearted and entertaining read.

I also loved that she meshed the two MC’s which prepped us for the Grim spinoff series that begins with Shayla’s brother, Lane. She additionally set the stage for the next Devil’s Souls book, Liam. I totally can’t wait.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, and heartbreak.

Before reading this story please read the below books first
Torch (Devils Souls MC #1)
Techy (Devils Souls MC #2)

This is Shay and Butcher’s story. Butcher is all alpha man and will protect someone he cares about with his life. He wants only one woman and that woman is Shay. People think Butcher is crazy but Shay knows the real him behind the enforcer. Besides Shay has her own little bit of crazy in her that only comes out for Butcher. Butcher does do some stalking in this story but it was only towards Shay and it had her interest at heart not anything bad. Shay is tough on her own but with Butcher she is even tougher. I loved these two together.

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

I loved this story right from page one!
The chemistry between the characters jumps right off the pages as you are reading, first there's the big bad crazy biker guy and the beautiful girl who is tough as nails who grew up in the biker world, together they make crazy look good!!
Add in a wide array of family and friends and a few enemies,it is a story that will take you on a rollercoaster ride from beginning to end!
The talented author Leann Ashers has once again written an amazing story that will have you laughing one minute and crying the next.
I have enjoyed all of Ms. Ashers books but I believe that this may be my favorite so far because I definately can't wait to read more from this talented author!

The minute Butcher saw Shaylin he knew she was meant to be his. He stalked her, she knew and didn't do anything to push him away. Shay knew Butcher would be hers as well, he was just as crazy as she is. Both have reasons for being the way they are, will they both be able to accept all of what they have to offer?

This was one of the best in the series so far. Shay is a hoot and and a firecracker. Butcher is quiet, I found his character fascinating. Great read. Can't wait for Wilder's book.

I smiled through most of this book it was amazing I loved it so much. I like how it was a safe MC story. Shay and Butcher were perfect for each other. I loved how Shay smiled when she fought it was hilarious. Tiana was cute and I liked how she took to Butcher it was cute. Also, I liked how Butcher was when his son came out gay it was a reaction. Loved the epilogue. Cannot wait for the kid's stories in this series! I am excited that Lane's book is next.

Reread often.

I have REALLY enjoyed all the books in this series, but I think BUTCHER just might be my favorite yet! LeAnn Ashers writes one hell of a sexy and swoon-worthy alpha male! Combine that with the MC attitude, suspense, and drama...and man, this was one addictive book!

This is one sexy, raw, emotional and steamy read by LeAnn Ashers. This is one MC story that will make you sit up and take notice. The bikers and their women are real and honest women. They aren’t nasty or thieving persons. I love each and every character we meet in her books.
In this book, we meet Butcher and his Shay. Butcher was in stalker mode, he doesn’t take his eyes off his woman and that is his woman in his eyes. He is scarred, scary, moody yet when it comes to Shay, he is a cuddly teddy bear with her and yet he also can go full alpha on her too. Now Lil Miss Shay was a trip. Shay grew up the princess in a MC biker group. Her dad and brother both being high ranking members yet Shay grew up to run a bakery store. Yet she was tougher than your normal bakery store owner. She was what Butcher needed—they complimented each other in so many ways. Shay is crazy yet sexy sweet. She is sassy and independent. She is kind and caring. She is everything that Butcher needs. She also is innocent of things even though growing up in an MC world so she needs Butcher and Butcher needs her sweetness. I loved their interactions, their loving and their crazy times...it was brilliant !!
They have sizzling chemistry and there are many twists and turns in this story that will keep you hooked until the very end. There are some very interesting secondary characters and I loved this story that drew in Shay’s brother and dad due to the danger she was in, and also kept Butcher on his toes. This was full of action, suspense, mystery and of course, red hot passion. I find this is one story that I have to keep re-reading because it is that good/hot!!! Ms. Ashers has become an author that I cannot get enough of and I cannot wait to see what she has next coming out!!

My Rating: 5.0 stars *****

This is the third MC read that I have read from this author. I love this series a lot. I have been with this author since she started this series. LeAnn Asher has improved a lot from Torch, then Techy and know Butcher.
Wow Buther is a great read as this book pulls you from the begin to the end and this book flows perfectly. I as a reader cant wait to the the direction this author takes this MC read. Most Authors like it when readers can make a connection to the characters but this read is very hard just to pick that one character that we can truly relate too.
When you first open this book you will meet Shaylin and she is basically the princess of the club because she is the only girl that any member has had. All the members had boys but 1 had a girl. Her own father allowed her to move to his town because its where the devils souls MC is located there. Her brother Lane is the president of the Grim Sinners MC and he is very protection of his sister and those around him.
Know Butcher is the type of person that will protect a perfect stranger but not all motor cycle gangs are the same but no means as He could have ended up killing someone for just causing any harm to her.
On a personal note I would highly recommend this series to anyone and I would start with Torch then Techy and know butcher. You will meet Torch in book 1 Torch will protect his family and he will make sure no harm comes to anyone that he cares for.
A good example of this is look at the well known TV show Sons of Anarchy they try to protect their families and those that they care for. The quote that sticks out though this read is
" You will be okay, " She lowers her voice almost to a whisper. Her eyes go from me to Butcher who hasn't moved. I smiled and nod. " Yes I will be find. Go on."

A compulsive read..

This is a compulsive and epic MC romantic read …with an original and riveting plot and a fascinating landscape filled with varied and complex individuals….each character from the MC family is worthy of his or her own story..

The focus is on Shaylin the MC princess who is also a badass and Butcher the club hard man and enforcer who is putty in the hands of the woman he has his sights on..he is awesome as her avenging hero willing to take down anyone who threatens her safety with all the essential alpha qualities and if that isn’t enough he is an ex Navy Seal *swoon* ...but Shaylin is equally magnificent she is no shrinking violet and well able to sort out her own problems….a match made in heaven or maybe hell….either way there is plenty of laughter, respect and fire in their relationship…

The story is mostly told from Shaylin’s point of view but every so often there is a short section devoted to Butcher and these small snippets provide an insight into his feelings and a window into the events in his past that drive his actions in the present day…..There are some really note worthy moments in this book but one of my favourites is the first encounter Shaylin has with Butcher and the subsequent afternoon they spend in each others company…it is comical and magical.

This book is a gripping fast paced thriller with some really sweet romantic moments and of course some thoroughly hot and steamy ones too…I have not read any other books by this author but I intend to rectify that oversight immediately….This book was reviewed for Summer's Eve Reads..

Shay was an AMAZING character! I absolutely love the take-no-shit-from-anyone female lead!! She was raised around the MC lifestyle, so she had the attitude that went right along with it! Butcher for sure had his hand full with Shay! And I LOVED that! I LOVED their relationship!! They were both equally "crazy" and perfect for each other!

If you're in the mood for an MC novel, you need to read this one!

Yes, it's book THREE in a series, but it's a different couple. You DO see the other characters and get glimpses of their stories, but it's not a huge deal if you haven't read the others. You won't be lost or anything. Although, I DO very highly recommend you read all three books simply because they're AMAZING.

FIVE STARS!!
