A fascinating account of one of the most notorious crime sprees in American history. Despite the horrific crimes against the Osage Nation, and those sympathetic to them, as, I assume, with many other readers, I had never even heard of this incident until the movie came out, and then I found out there was a book about it. Another episode in a series of American episodes that we never got in our history books in school. Thanks to the author, Grann, for bringing this part of history, as sad as it is, to our consciences.

Never read the book. Killers of the Flower Moon was on February Palmira Book Club agenda. I did not have time to read the book before the meeting. So, I reviewed the summary.

Such an important read but the individuals were confusing to keep track of. Such a devastating story.

Fascinating glimpse into a dark period of US history. Had no idea there had been this wealthy Indian tribe and what happened to them. History and mystery woven together.
