Okay…

This story should have been longer. We get no answers to any questions. I don’t know if maybe I missed the point of this story or maybe it just went over my head. But I’m confused. It kept my attention and made me want to read the next page, so 2 stars.

Breanna Egan takes us on a creepy ride with fourteen tales of horror. They are quite varied in both pace and storytelling, but all were enjoyable and leaves you with an unsettled feeling. Most of them were short enough that you could easily go through a few of them without batting an eye, and still want more. I'm looking forward to checking out her other works.

Breanna Egan delivers fourteen tightly crafted tales where the ordinary cracks — and something monstrous slips through. Some stories are brief, but they linger long after the final page. If you enjoy Poe-esque dread with a Twilight Zone edge, this one will absolutely get under your skin.
