I didn't like Eoghan as much. He redeemed himself by the end, but he was so horrible to Annika first. Being a mob Don of course hardens a person, but he is just very hot and cold. Annika had to push through so much in order to find herself. I enjoyed how she grew stronger. Overall a good story.
This was an excellent shifter story and a most intriguing read. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and would have no hesitation in recommending it. Thinking about his missing mate set Eoghan on edge; bad luck seems to have followed him around all his life and now someone had dared challenge his control on the City. Having worked his way up the ranks, Eoghan is now the Don of Baltimore but he needs to be smart about his next steps; anger would lead to mistakes and death. It wasn’t often a human could rise to power when surrounded by shifters. Then Annika had strolled into his life, tall, strong and utterly fearless; she lured something out of him, something that surprised them both and something he certainly hadn’t expected, his Dragon, and this helped him consolidate his power. When Eoghan went into Heat, he took Annika as his mate, but then she disappeared without a word. The dreams were making Annika uneasy; she has no memory of being a shifter, no memory at all. Now she was on her way to Baltimore to find a wytch to help her. When confronted by Eoghan, Annika doesn’t remember him and there is nothing normal about her reaction to him. Lenore had designs on Eoghan and had taken Annika’s memories and powyr away from her. But is Annika lying or is she ill; there were too many inconsistencies, too many contradictions and none of them jived with the story she had told him when they first met; Eoghan is sure Annika is involved with his enemies somehow. Eoghan needs to focus; weakness would court a challenge to his rule. Annika had been attacked and he needed to know all there was to know about her before he could make things right. As Annika’s memories come back, she realises she is Eoghan’s mate, but cannot understand what caused her to run from him. There is so much she doesn’t remember, but what would happen when she did? Eoghan has his mysteries too; is it possible he could be one of the missing Princes?
On the beautiful dragon island of Patomas there was a a dragon queen called the Delphina and her mate the pythian. They were happy with thier 5 sons until one day all 5 boys disappeared driving the Delphina mad. Now the enemies of the Dragon court have set off to make alliances to help distroy the court. Eoghan is the Don of Baltimore, for the last 40 years he had thought he was a human being raised by werewolf family. Last year he had meet his mate Annika and she had called his dragon but she had disappeared for the last year. For the last year Annika has been in a homeless shelter and thinking she had lost her mind along with her memory of whom she was. Lots of action in this mystery. I love the characters and the back story too. Lots of drama and betrayal. If your into dragons this will be your new favorite series I honestly loved it.
I HATED the hero in the beginning. He didnt believe in his mate and threw her to the wolves without checking out her story or checking her system for drugs that could give her amnesia. He just assumed the worst and literally threw her to his enemy and got her shot. F@cking dick!!!!
When she recovered and woke up, she wasnt even mad that he got her shot and she almost died!! As soon as she woke, she kissed him. WTH???? Then he leaves her in his house and tells her she cant leave. He immediately leaves and she asks where is he going, he said it is not your concern. She just accepts this.. 33% in and i cant stand either character..
Buuuut, it got better. I am glad I stuck with it. How the hero reacted to the king at the end cracked me up.
Definitely going to continue the series

Eoghan has lost his mate and been busy securing his place as the head of the Shadow Mob. Annika has spent the past year fighting to remember her past and stay sane. No easy task, when you keep dreaming of being a dragon. Annika goes to get help from a wytch only to discover there is someone out there who has been missing her all along. Problem is she can't remember him, or their life together. Eoghan is torn in his feelings. These two have a long battle ahead of them and not just with the past and missing memories. I really loved Annika and her strong personality, even when she couldn't remember everything, she stood her ground and demanded some answers. Can't wait to read book 3. Need more about the missing princes!
The Godfather meets Dragonheart? It seems like an impossible combination but it works perfectly for this book. In true Godfather fashion, it gets a little violent at times as Eoghan protects his ‘family’ with everything at his disposal. It’s also told with some biting, tongue-in-cheek sarcasm that left me snickering wildly. My heart hurt watching this couple as they dealt with Annika’s disappearance, amnesia, and all the threats that surrounded them. This is a story of the lengths we’ll go to in order to protect those we love. I can't wait to read more about the lost princes.
Another lost prince is found. I love that each story is about a prince and each story is so different. Each prince has grown up with a totally different story. None know what they really are. This story centers around Eoghan. He is the head of a mob clan. And until recently didn't even know he was a dragon shifter. But one a dragon male meets their mate everything changes for them. But he also doesn't expect the lies that surround the woman he calls mate.
A story with intrigue, adventure and lust. If you enjoy paranormal romances then you will enjoy this book and the rest of the series.
This story was good but a bit frustrating to read. I’m not sure, but I think that it was intentionally written to be a bit vague and confusing so that when everything came together, it felt like a complete story. For me, by the time it started coming together, it started to feel rushed. It wasn’t a bad story, but I enjoyed the first one in the series more. I look forward to seeing how all of the stories come together, how and why the royal dragonlings were abducted and separated, and who, ultimately, was behind the plot.
Book two is every bit as intense as book one. This one has Annika with amnesia but a chance mention of finding a wytch to treat her memories brings her back to a place where people know her. Eoghan has been without his mate for a year and when she turns up not knowing who she is, that just doesn't set well with him. Betrayal, jealousy, rivalries between clans, not to mention Annika getting her memory back, this all adds up to a fast paced, action packed story and leaves us wanting more.
Wow what a ride! Going in you know some answers for Annika, but not a lot. And oh my gosh! The accent Eoghan has! I could just melt from his burr! Still have loads of questions to be answered as you read the series, but you get a happy for now ending with this book as well. Pick it up and read it!
This is book 2 in the series. It is Eoghan and Annika's story. I thought that Eoghan had a remarkable relationship with his sisters. He's a protector, a provider, and a great family man. A man with two families. The family he grew up in and he is also a Don in the Mob. There is great chemistry between Eoghan and Annika. As with book 1, "Dragon Star," this is a good read.
I started this series by reading dragon claimed. This book took me longer to read. It didn't hook me as much as the first, but was still an important part of the overall story. The last third of the book became easier to read and follow. I will be reading the rest of the series but I feel I need to step away from the genre for my next book so that I can come back to it with a fresh mind.
This is very good read. Wild, intense, interesting and you never fully sure of what is going to happen next. The main characters had great chemistry. Definitely worth reading on. I looking forward to the other books in the series.
Intriguing and entertaining read. The action and the suspense continues, in book 2 add some betrayal to the mixed and you have a great read. Looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series.
Really liked this story. Children snatched, and for forty years the parents grieved. Battles over territory. A missing mates returns with not knowing Who or what she is. Add to the story shifters of all sorts. You've got to read this.
Eoghan is the mob boss and Annika is his lost mate recently returned. Problem is, she has no memory beyond the past year. It was fascinating to watch someone dealing with amnesia. People knowing her history, Eoghan claiming they were mates. All very confusing, frustrating and uncomfortable for Annika. Then there is the mystery of how she disappeared and what caused the amnesia. There is also a rival gang threatening his business. All very exciting, suspenseful and engaging. Five stars.
The first book was great and this one totally kept up the pace with mystery, action and always sexy Dragons! I love the continuity between books while allowing each author's style to shine thru! Each of these authors are on my favorites list so I know I'll LOVE each book completely and thus far I haven't been disappointed !
Love this book which I came across while searching for another book and Im glad I took a chance on it. So what I can see there are only 2 books in this series so far, didnt know that until i brought this one which was free. Anyways the series is about a King and Queen who had 5 sons, one night all 5 of their babies disappeared without any trace of them. First book is one of the Prince who was kidnapped but doesnt know that he is a prince. But he is a spy posing as a rock star. This 2nd book is of a mafia head who is feared by all those under him who has a mate that up and disappeared on him? A year later she shows up not having any memory of who he is or what he is to her, and doesnt know who or what she is other than her name on a bracelet she wears. Along the way to discover who she is with the help of her mate they both discover betrayal from.one of his own due to jealousy and from there the lies and deceit starts to unfold and finding the shock discovery of another missing prince. Great story loved it from start to finish.
Eoghan was missing his mate. She disappear 1 year ago, and no one has any news. Annika has lost her memories. She heard of a wytch that can restore memories. What she finds is Eoghan who recognize Annika. Now they need to work together to figure out what happened to Annika. Meanwhile Eoghan's enemies are closing in. Now, Eoghan has not fight to protect not only his family, but also his newfound mate. Great ending!
I love this mythology and the fated mating. This story keeps you all kinds of keyed up. The suspense of getting Annika's story so piecemeal. Is Ann and Eoghan's mating strong enough to overcome the deceit? Can they survive the baddies? How does this shifter world work? So much going on and a love story too. I absolutely couldn't put it down.
Before discovering he was a dragon, he was a crime boss. He has kept up that role and it comes in handy when he has to deal with so many enemies. The one thing that haunts him is his missing mate. She has been done a year. When she returns suddenly, he is not sure if he can trust her. She has lost all her memories but knows she belongs with Eoghan. She will need all those memories and skills to stay safe as enemies surround them.
This is an interesting combination of a shifter romance and a mob romance with plenty of action. I really liked Annika and would have liked to spend more time with her. I would have loved to have seen them fall for each other. You get some flashbacks which show her as being very badass. They have intense chemistry even without her memory.
It is harder to really figure him out. I did like that he's very protective of the women in his life. He tries to not care about Annika but he can't resist her and wants to keep her safe. She is not the kind of women that wants to be kept away from the action. I think they will have an interesting life together.
Eoghan and Annika. He is a Don, and she is a warrior dragon sent to spy on him, only to discover they are mates, and he may be a lost Prince. Overall it was an ok book. It took me a couple chapters to really start understanding and getting into the book. Once I got a bit into the book, and it finally explained more, then I got intrigued. If one has patience and can get through the first couple chapters, than you will enjoy the book.
Annika was sent undercover to determine whether Eoghan, the Don of the Shadow mob in Baltimore, is going to send fighters to fight against the rulers of Patomas. Her orders are clear, if Eoghan is in cahoots with the faction trying to overthrow the rulers, eliminate the threat. She discovers so much more. Eoghan is a dragon shifter, and when he goes into heat she becomes his mate. Someone in the mob isn't happy with that turn of events and poisons her, the poison makes her forget everything about who and what she is, but a year later she returns to Baltimore looking for answers. Eoghan has missed his mate desperately but isn't sure he can trust her anymore, and Annika is looking for the truth.
Wow, fascinating and sexy characters, lots of fighting action and suspense, this is a must read with a happily ever after. Fantastic book, I loved it.
Eoghan has clawed his way to the top of the Shadow Claw mob. Still missing his mate he only had for a few short month. But long enough to bring out the Dragon in him, literally. Annika has been lost and with no memories of who she was for a tear now. Hearing about a witch that might be able to help she goes to Baltimore and finds a lot more then she bargains for. Lots of action and adventure in this well written self-contained story that's also part of a series.
Eoghan’s mate has been missing for a little bit over a year. Why no one knows. She went missing after work one night and never returned. Who would be so stupid to mess with the Don's main girl, his mate of all things? There are a couple gangs suspected around him, but nothing is concrete yet. But when she shows back up, with no memory of who she is, let alone him and his crew. He knows something is up. Can this be a trick? If it isn't someone is going to be paying dearly.
Annika can't remember a thing. Only thing she knows for sure is her name. And she now lives in Baltimore. Due to a bracelet on her wrist, when she wakes up. When she tries to seek help from a wytch she runs into a bunch of thugs. When one of them recognizes her, she is somewhat relieved. But then she meets her mate. And nothing makes sense anymore. Will she ever remember herself and what she is? Let alone who did what to her?
I loved this second book in the series. I think you could get by without reading the first one, but you really should because it is good too. You are kinda dropped into the story and it took me a few minutes to realize that I wasn't meant to know more than I did. I was trying to connect to the other book, and it does, but not at first.
Annika has no idea who she is. She cannot remember anything up until she was found homeless and confused in D.C. She keeps having strange dreams, and has been convinced that she needs to be on drugs to control her psychiatric problems. She is trying to take courses and must keep up on drug regime or lose her free education. When she hears of a wytch in Baltimore that might be able to help her with her memory problems, she immediately gets on a bus. Little does she know that this will lead her to much more than she thought possible.
Eoghan is a mob boss and a dragon shifter. His mate, Annika, disappeared without a trace a year ago, so imagine his surprise when she walks into one of his bars looking for a wytch. he doesn't trust her when she says she has lost her memory. How is it possible that she ended up here if she doesn't know who he is??
You will slowly piece together Annika and Eoghan's story. There will be some fights, some loving, and some scary moments before the story ends. It will not end the series though, more dragons to find.
Second book in the series and another prince found. This is a great read with lots of action, all very exciting in this well written book. Voluntarily reviewed this advance copy
I love these stories about the missing prince's. While you have to feel sorrow for the Queen for losing 5 son's at one time...think of the guys that don't have a clue who or what they are. In this story Annika is charged with keeping an eye on the Mob boss , Eoghan. Who doesn't know he's a dragon until they mate during his heat. It's a great storyline with really good characters. It's the 2nd book in the series and I definitely recommend it.
