It's difficult to choose just one genre to read because there are so many books out there to choose from. I'm sure of what I don't like but it's hard to say that I love a genre more then other. So when I have a doubt I just grab that book and start reading it. With this Jay S Wilder I don't have any doubt of what I like because I intent to read every single one of them. And here is the good news, this book was written by not one but three amazing authors such as Jay S Wilder, Kendra Wild and Savannah Knight.
They all have a simple, intense and kinky writing just the way I like. Lol. It's the truth, for me the kinkier the better. And a military bad boy romance is just my weakness.
Protection tells the stories of Nick and Nicole.

Nicole is a computer geek that works in a secret project to the US Army. Not only is she working on a top secret project but also she was caught witnessing a secret meeting. In order to survive she needs to run and hide. But can she hide for to long? Can she survive?

And girls the hot scenes are raw and explosive. I was nervous while reading some chapters and also hot reading others. Oh boy if this book is like this written by three authors I can't even imagine what they have in store for us. Oh boy...

I loved this hot, action packed romance from Jay S. Wilder, Kendra Wild and Savannah Knight!
Protection is filled with suspense, intrigue, smokin’ hot sexy times and a surprising twisty/turny ending. I especially oved that there was a happy ending after all these two went through together.
Nick is a military trained, former Special Forces soldier. After leaving the service, he started working for a private agency and is regularly called upon to take care of top secret problems. Usually this means taking out the target and disappearing without a trace. This latest assignment starts out differently though.
Nicole is a coder and has been working overtime on a special project for the US government. During one of her very late night/early mornings at work, she stumbles across a clandestine meeting in one of the board rooms. She eavesdrops and gets the gist of what is being negotiated and heads home, thinking she hasn’t been caught.
When Nicole is called in to be interrogated the following work day, her instincts immediately tell her that she needs to protect herself. They know that she heard things that no one was supposed to hear about and now they’re going to make sure that she won’t ever be able to tell anyone else.
Going off of survival skills taught to her by her father, a retired army General, Nicole goes off the grid until she can figure out what her next step is. Unfortunately for her, Nick’s job is to always be one step ahead of his target, in this case Nicole.

Protection is Nicole and Nick’s story. Nicole is a programming geek who has been recruited to work on this top secret project for the US military. Whatever they had her doing now has her on the run for her life when she witnesses a meeting between her bosses and some foreign nationals. Nick is hired to observe her movements without her finding out and pass on any information he can on the situation. Somehow they end up bumping into each other by accident and the attraction is instant. Nick realizes something isn’t right and she is in danger and he wants to protect her but he has orders to follow. Will he follow the intense chemistry that is there between them and the feelings that are developing or will he follow the orders he has been given?
This story has it all-suspense, mystery, witty banter, sexy tension, intense chemistry , alpha male, innocent heroine, and an awesome plot. And add in the great characters that make this one wonderful story. I loved everything about this story that made Nicole and Nick work well together. There were a lot of twist and turns up until the very end which makes this a great read.

Nicole may have been a pushover when it came to her coworkers, but she is resourceful and smart when she figured out something bad is goin on. Nick is goin from one contract to the next, and they literally run into each other. Of course she ends up being his target. But he wants her. He has to choose between following orders or his heart.
This is action packed and suspenseful, a wild ride! I enjoyed it. I received an arc.

Nicole is just an assignment for Nick until he sees her for the first time. Luring her in is easy but the more time he spends with her the more torn he is between doing his job and making her his. With danger drawing closer from every side Nick realizes he will do whatever it takes to keep her alive. This book is a great action/suspense/romance. Nicole and Nick have lots of chemistry and lots of hot steamy sex. The story is a real page turner and I enjoyed every minute of it. 4.5 stars.

Hitmen, love on the run and huge explosions!
If this is what u like in a good reading book, then u won't be disappointed....add in some hard loving on a plane and getting shot at whilst running from the bad guys, all under the protection of one really hot guy, trained in the special forces. He will stpp at nothing to protect his girl.
This was a steamy read in places and very enjoyable and believable plot

Great book definitely a must read
This book has drama,espionage,romance,danger and more twists and turns than a rollercoaster. This book has steamy sex scenes and who hasn't heard of the mile high club. This geek goes from computer geek to a sexy operative. She finds the truth about her mother's death,and her friends betrayal. She meets a hot seal,and mercenary,who was sent to be her guardian angel.This is a great book definitely a must read.

Loved this book by this author because of the original storyline of Nicole being in the wrong place at the wrong time and Nick being in the right place at the right time. This book follows the story of Nicole the computer nerd working on a top government project and Nick working as a mercenary who is ridding the world of truly bad people. This story is an addictive read and is a five star worthy read.

This is a romantic suspense story and novel length with the characters Nick and Nicole. Nick is former military and an assasin and his job is to follow Nicole. Nicole overheard something she shouldn't have and is now a target. There's a lot going on here and it will keep you guessing all the way to the end. I received a copy of this book from the author and I am voluntarily giving my review.

Love a strong smart leading lady who stands up for herself.
A fierce hot mercenary protecting his mark...interesting.

Good Read
This story is good. It would have better without the gratuitous sex at the beginning. Since that actual scene comes later in the book, I would suggest the authors remove it and make this a Five star read.

A good story with a decent plot and hot sex. Much better than I expected. I really liked Nick. He was strong and sexy. Nicole was okay, but her character could have been better developed. The story finished a little quick and a little cheesy, but I enjoyed the epilogue. Worth reading.

Really good story and I enjoyed reading Nick & Nicole's story. Nicole is running for her life and Nick is following her for intel but when they collide into each other on accident they can't help but feel something. Knowing something is wrong Nick will do anything to protect Nicole.

Protection! This detailed web weaving insta-give it to you all read grabbed my attention from the very first chapter with the exciting plot, scorching hot scenes that left little to the imagination, funny banter- characters with a chemistry I swear I could almost feel coming out of my kindle romance mixed in with some twists and turns, mild violence a lead up that had me silent cheering at 1A.M that led to hug it out with all the feels and a killer HEA! I am a huge fan of Jay S. Wilder, have been since his first book! This is my first time reading work by the co-authors Kendra Wild and Savannah Knight, after reading this awesomeness it will not be my last! IMO a great read I felt was worth staying up past my beauty sleep time for!

Amazing heart racing story!!! Nicole is strong, smart and full of fire... exactly what Nick needed! There is action and so much hotness. I loved this book and highly recommend it, definitely a must read. One of my top favorites!

I absolutely loved this book! Its a non stop action thriller that will keep you reading right until the end.Nicole is a young very strong independtant woman that works for a secret coding company and stumbles into some trouble that puts her on the run,I loved her attitude and strength.Nick is hired to observe her mysteriously and find out any information he can on the situation.They stumble into each other and the attraction is instant and they start playing the game.
The Authors did a fantastic job on this exciting story of who will take down who and win!!!!

Wow, what a thrilling, wild ride Protection was! Straight up, sizzling hot, with a fast-paced story as Nick and Nicole try to outwit and outrun everyone after them. I love a good romantic suspense that packs plenty of action and heat, and Protection did not disappoint! Nick was as good as done once he laid eyes on Nicole. Fantastic high energy story, and I loved it! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Loved it. Lots of fun, surprises, excitement, suspense. It is a well written book. It sure kept my attention. Loved the ending. I highly recommend reading it. I am so glad I read it. a good book to sit and relax with. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.
