Нова арка розпочинається про одну із моїх улюблених героїнь - депресивну дівчинку Ґейл, яка поступово розкриває теж своє минуле. Мені здається, що Леміру дуже добре вдаються такі підліткові персонажі-бунтарі (згадаємо хоча б недавню Плутону та й взагалі більшість провінційних історій Леміра, зокрема Essex Country). Особливо цікаво як він деконструює класчині супергеройські кліше, де супергероїня, наприклад, закохується у свого суперника Шерлока Франкінштейна, про якого скоро вийде лімітка. Так, Ґейл просто каже: "What can I say, Sherlock? I've always had a thing with weird-looking dudes." Хіба це не прекрасно? Ось ця дивакуватість Ґейл та загалом усієї історії найбільш приваблює, адже ти можеш завжди повернутись у світ-у-якому-нічого-не-стається, а старі супергерої згадують свої скелети й печалі на старій фермі.

Of course this would be the highlight of this weeks single issues. I love this title so much, and I like the look into Gail's past. I think she and Barbalien are the most relatable characters for me.
