After an ignominious meeting at the Acropolis, Hugh and Rachel slide into a summer love affair complicated by family and wealth, but in none of the ways readers familiar with these plot turns, are accustomed to. And that's the only compliment I can muster, because in reading, .I was the opposite of entertained.
The biggest problem is that I never warmed up to either character, and spent most of the book (which was clean text, didn't drag purposely) actively wishing Rachel would shut up, or get a personality-changing concussion. That's not a great relationship to have with a character you're supposed to want a happily ever after for. Hugh was slightly better, but mostly because he knew he didn't have all the answers. That said, "ninnies" was muttered more than once, and I had to keep reminding myself of their ages (they might not have been so insufferable if they'd been a few years younger). So unfortunately, this story was not to my tastes, but with none of the action taking place on US soil, the far-flung locales might appeal to many other romance readers.
