About the author

In the years 1993 - 1999 Sandra was a member of Disman's children's radio ensemble (Dismanův rozhlasový dětský soubor) and was honoured for the best children performance of Anička in the radio play "Anička skřítek a Slaměný Hubert". Then in the years 1999 - 2003 she was a member of the literary-dramatic ensamble under command of actress and educator Dana Hlaváčová.

In 1998 Sandra won the national literary competition of the best fairytale, held by Český rozhlas (Czech Radio). In the same year she reached second prize in the national competition of the best theme, named Ciak junior. In the year 2000 she reached second prize in the national literary competition, held by sci-fi club Terminus, in the category "Fairytale".

Nowadays she study Theatre Studies on the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague.

Sandra Vebrová write novels and lyrics, she's also interested in theatre and dubbing. In 2004 She got a film role of nurse in the czech soap-opera "Pojišťovna štěstí". In the future Sandra wants to combine the writing novels and screenplays.
