There is some good information for myeloma patients and their caregivers in this book, but it is not particularly well-organized and the writing style is not suited to this type of book. People in search of good information on this disease would be better served by good websites like the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
Excellent book. Explains disease, what to expect, treatments plus it is a documented journey of the author’s battle with this disease. It helped me understand what my husband is going through and what to expect, I will be referring back to this book constantly. My husband will be reading it too to help him understand what is going on. Highly recommend this book for caregivers and myeloma patients.
Well written, concise, clear guide on what is coming down the pike & options to help you deal with it on several levels from the basic to the nitty gritty details.
