Beau poured a generous shot in each glass and handed one to each of us.
“To Australia, my new home and the place where I found love ag’in,” he toasted.
“To Georgia, the place where I found myself and also my baby sister,” I added.
“To Pheobe, may every day be more like today than your yesterdays,” Angel said.

Man... I can’t even start to describe this book.
It was so good to see Pheobe healing and conquering her fears. It was beautiful to see that she bounded again with Angel and was able to open up to Beau again. It was just breathtaking!

That end was absolutely beautiful! I’m glad Jase got what he deserved and that Declan was there to show him what happens when you mess with a Reede.

I’m actually kind of afraid to read the next book. I’m feeling something bad will happen, and that’s why it’s from Beau’s POV. I’m not ready for that but I can’t stop myself from starting it. God help me. I’m sure Michelle will end the series with a bang.

This is the first of Michelle Irwins book I felt deserved less than 5*. This is the latest book in the Phoebe Reede series, although again its not the last. This is a serial.
In this book Phoebes life seems to finally be back on track. She and Beau are finally able to get past a few of the demons. Its time to start getting back on the track again, she can finally handle small doses of being in the company of others, and she can finally handle being touched in small ways.
Beau is patient and loving. He knows Phoebe still hurts more than she lets on. Then she loses one of her lifelines, and its a setback.
There are some really great things that happen in this book.... (no spoilers ;) ) but I have a real issue, and this is where that 1* went, with what happens with Angel. I dont want to say too much due to spoilers, but found what happens to be WAY out there for me and the rest of this story.

Phantom

By Michelle Irwin

**Received for Honest review**

Phantom what can I say a book jam packed and yet beautifully heart breaking yet pure and joyful.

“I give to you every day of my future . The good and the bad. I lay them all in your hands.

Phantom continues where Physis left we are with Phoebe and Beau as there working on their relationship Beau is learning Phoebe’s triggers and helping her with her getting through every day.

You proved to me that love can be patient . That it can heal and fix the broken parts.

At the start, Phoebe is trying to get back into racing with Beau on the comms helping her through the races, then we have a dramatic turn of events which sees Phoebe being forced out of the car and into early retirement due to her health issues.

If I couldn’t have it all, I didn’t want anything.

After some life, changing decision Phoebe decides it’s time to start taking control of her life and that she isn’t going to let them win even with her triggers she is starting to make great progress even when some days are bad she tries to push through to get to the end. Every day is a new day and Phoebe takes leaps and bounds and it’s such a beautiful thing to read. Even when she has the odds stacked against her the Reede gene comes out to keep her going and show her just how strong she really is!!

So much happens in this book we couldn’t go into detail as its better to just read it, it will not disappoint!!

My life was no longer my own because it belonged to you

Michelle never seems to amaze me with her writing style and skill, the journey we are taken on makes us believe we are there along with the characters feeling what the feel falling in love alongside them sharing the joys, there triumphs the heart ache their sorrow and the pain it takes us deep into their world.

Thank you for another amazing read.

I am already a big fan of this series and of Michelle Irwin's writing in general, she has a knack of being able to tell a great story that can capture your imagination, and get your heart pumping wildly. She writes about her characters in a way that makes them come alive on the page, they get right under your skin so that you form a strong and deep connection to them. You can't help but feel empathy and heartfelt sympathy for them as they face each situation and dilemma thrown in their path. Each and every book in this series has almost destroyed me to read, the pain and mental suffering that Phoebe goes through is so heartbreaking and just when I thought she had faced all that she could more hurt and suffering comes looking for her.
I was in tears for most of the time while reading this part of Phoebe's story, the up's and down's that she faces along with Beau and Angel and the darkness that still haunts her mind and soul was harrowing to read. The suspense and mystery of who was toying with her emotions was brilliantly thought out as I totally had the wrong person in mind until the penny finally dropped, and the way she has lost so much through the evil and malice of so many but still remains a fighter makes me love her character even more.
I absolutely love Angel's character and would really like to see more of her life away from Phoebe, of what happens with her relationship with her mom and her career whilst traveling the world. But we also must not forget about my undying love for Beau, he's such a wonderful character that would make any girl swoon. He is the one constant that holds Phoebe together when everything around her falls apart. He has so much patience and understanding of her needs that he could be the one they would use to make the mould of the perfect man, if one really could exist in the real world Ha! and that southern drawl of his could make your panties drop at a thousand paces! *sigh*
As always with this series, this was a book that I just couldn't put down but I was also a little sad when I finished it as I never wanted it to end. It has a beautiful ending so i'm intrigued to see where Phoebe's story will take her and Beau next on their journey.
Another 5 Star read!

Phoebe and Beau’s story is one that has captivated me since the very first page; it’s been a real page turner and has kept me on the edge of my seat. While I give PHANTOM 5❤️, I have to say that this was my least favourite book in the series. Phoebe had to fight several more battles, and I think I’ve just gotten to the point where I’m like, “She’s been through enough already. Leave her alone and let her have some happiness.” Because if anyone deserves peace and joy in her life, it’s Phoebe.

Phoebe has come a long way, but she still has a ways to go. A dream that once meant everything to her now means nothing, and without it, she’s not sure what to do with her life anymore. Because of that, I felt she made some huge life-changing decisions for the wrong reasons. These decisions were giant red flags for me; flags that Beau and her parents couldn’t⎯or didn’t want to⎯see.

Beau is still an absolute sweetheart, but in regards to one situation, maybe he was too much of a sweetheart. His willingness to sacrifice his happiness for Phoebe is admirable, but also a little dangerous. While I respect he wants to make her happy, he has to think about his own happiness⎯and sanity⎯as well. Honestly, I think both Phoebe and Beau would benefit greatly from going back into therapy.

In regards to other characters, I wasn’t a fan of the whole Angel situation, and that’s all I’ll say about that. Veronica was an interesting addition to the story, but sadly one that was not explored enough. Will we get more of her in the next story? Only time will tell. Finally, Declan. Well Declan is still awesome.

“What happened to my protective Daddy who was certain no one would ever be good enough for his little girl?”
“He met a guy that proved him wrong time and time again.”

PHANTOM is told only in Phoebe’s POV and, as with the previous story, it doesn’t end in a cliffhanger. In fact, it actually comes with a nice HFN ending. That being said, this is not the end for Phoebe and Beau, whose story will conclude in BEACON, which comes out in August.

5 Stars!!!

I was given this book in turn for an honest review.

With one challenge fought, another comes along. Still fighting her past, Phoebe finds she needs to live her life again and strive for her dreams. Will those dreams come easy or will those dreams create more heartache?

I cannot put into words how truly magnificent this series is. Michelle Irwin and her wonderfully talented writing skills have yet again blown me away. Michelle has a way of bringing you into the story, living each moment right along with the characters, feeling every emotion they go through.

I know I have said this before but I have to say it again, Beau is amazing. He’s sweet, strong, kind, loving, loyal, determined and nothing deters him from trying to achieve not only his dreams, the dreams of the people he cares about. Beau and Declan have formed the greatest of friendships, with the same goals in mind. Although Beau once made me feel anger towards him, he has since redeemed himself, time and time again.

The courage and strength Phoebe has, constantly blows me away. After everything she has been through, she fights, and fights hard to live the happy life she deserves. With Phantom however, Michelle Irwin hits reality and shows us how sometimes life really isn’t a beautiful fairy tale after going through a devastating and horrific ordeal.

As desperate as I am to have my hands on the final book in this series, hoping that all their dreams and wishes do come true, I also don’t want it to be over. Both Phoebe and Beau have left a mark on my heart that will stay with me for years to come.

This series is amazing. If you love young adult romance sagas, with suspense, humour, heartache and mystery, this series is for you!

REVIEW
Oh my gosh this story had me on one heck of a roller coaster ride. One minute I was like YES !!! Finally !!! But then it went down that hill that had me yelling at my kindle.
Phoebe is finally starting to come out of her shell a bit after her ordeal. Beau is her ever constant. Her best friend Angel though throws her one heck of a curve ball.
Making plans to get married and actually having said plans go without a hitch? Well, that is not to be for Pheebs and Beau oh no. It's back to where things became
very dark for Phoebe as Beau has to sign his property away and oh the action beings so hang on to your seat as it will get smashingly bumpy.
Yes, we get a cliffhanger, and I for one hope the next book in this series is close to release.
ABSOLUTELY loved this book in this series. Start with book one in this series and lose yourself in one gritty, exciting, and soul hurting story.

Phantom

Another brilliant book to the pheobe Reede series.

I was hooked from the get go. I'm gonna say it's probably one of my favourites, why? Cause slowly but surely bits of the old pheobe are coming back her fighting spirit is there you can hear it in how she feels and what she says.

Phantom continues from Physis, pheobe and Beau are continuing to form their relationship, pheobe makes some big decisions in this story which involves her racing again and Angel. There is one massive decision that pheobe is desperate for but will it ever happen.

That line Michelle Irwin used in a teaser, well it had me and many others thinking all things, what a surprise when I actually read it in the book, gives you feelings of sadness and happiness.

There is lots going on in this story, with Angel, people returning from the past, pheobe confronting some more nightmares and getting back in the race car but it just makes you want to keep reading and for it to never stop.

Roll on the next book I .can't wait to see how this all ends.

I found it difficult to go about my everyday activities as I just wanted to read this from cover to cover without stopping!

Beau and Phoebe continue to explore and develop their relationship. At the same time, Phoebe really takes a hard look at what she really wants out of life.

The suspense in this book is gradually built up and then explodes to make it enthralling. I really enjoyed the plot twists and turns that make you sit up on the edge of your seat.

Michelle Irwin really knows how to describe her characters so that you feel you know them personally, taking on board every emotion they experience. Angel needs a special mention as she plays an important role in both Phoebe and Beau's story.

The fast pace and smoothly executed scenes unfold to reveal a more complex part of this story. It's so easy to become engrossed in the storyline that you find you don't want it to end..but it does and on a cliffhanger too!

Fabulous story once again by this talented author.

Just when you think things are getting back on track for Phoebe Reede, another challenge or ten come right out of left field leaving you breathless. With Beau by her side, Phoebe is able to finally start getting her life back on track. But things remain on a knife edge. Her relationship with her best friend Angel is in a precarious state, her health is showing signs of deteriorating and her past refuses to stay there.

I wonder how much more Phoebe can survive and I wonder whether Beau has a never ending amount of patience. Beau should be cloned and introduced into the male population of the real world. His patience, compassion and open mindedness have him standing out in a crowd.

Phoebe is one strong woman, surviving and actually living again after everything she has been through. An inspirational character to an extent.

Beautifully written addition to Phoebe's story and journey.

Michelle Irwin has done it again. She's woven an intricate story that grabs the reader by the heart and the gut and refuses to let go. I have been totally invested in Phoebe's series since the first chapter and this is now book what? five? lol I still can't get enough of Beau and his true to the heart love for Phoebe and his total understanding of her fragile conditions. The man totally demonstrates what every woman searches for in a man, alas he is fictional.
This book is a bit more character driven than plot driven. Don't get me wrong, there are plot points that will totally blow the reader away and throw more roadblocks on the way to an HEA. But the heart of this book is the emotions and the love between not only Beau and Phoebe but also Angel, Beau and Phoebe. The emotions are intense and the love is strong, but at times one questions if it is enough to get them all through.
Again, Phoebe questions her place in her own life, much like she did in the first book. However, she is more mature and knows what she wants both in her career and her personal life. Of course, much of that centers around Beau and their love and losses. She questions her career and her place on the team and toys with what Beau's should be. So much happens in the course of this book that it is difficult to not write a spoiler. Know that the characters are true to themselves and the story line is spot on and issues from the past resurface in unexpected ways.
It is safe to say that Ms. Irwin is a master storyteller and obviously these characters aren't quite done but they seem closer than ever before to an HEA, despite the obstacles thrown in their way. I truly adore these characters and will be sad when the series is over but the trip has been so fantastic that loss will be overshadowed by memory the characters and their journey. This series is amazing and Beau is the perfect book boyfriend

I love the Phoebe Reede Story, all the highs and all the lows. Michelle Irwin knows how to write a very intriguing story will twists and turns that run smoothly in the written word. Michelle has a few surprises in this book but these go a long way to explain quite a few things in earlier books (won't go into spoiler details).

When she came home she had nothing left, but now she wants it all.

After fighting her way back from tragedy, Phoebe Reede is ready to claim the life she deserves. With Beau at her side, she thinks it might be possible. Only, the things she wants are out of her reach.

Can Phoebe find joy in what she has, or will she destroy her own happiness chasing a phantom?

This is not a stand alone book and you will need to read the earlier books in the series before reading this book. I am also giving you a warning that this review may very well contain spoilers from the earlier books in the series. Another warning is that this book is an intense read with some difficult content that may be difficult for some to read. That said this is a five plus star story by a talented storyteller. A must read edge of your seat, emotional series.
Phoebe has been through so much, but she is back home and with the help of Beau and her family has been fighting back to claim her life again, after being kidnapped. Will she be able to claim that life she wants and the joy she once had or will the tragedy of her past keep her from it? Will the people in her life help or hurt her spirit after such tragedy?
Beau is such an amazing person with all the support he gives Phoebe. Phoebe is truly amazing herself. She survived all she has been through and is finally getting back to racing. So why is it so hard for her to let go and move forward? Between her health issues she has had her entire life with her kidneys and the added damage from the time in captivity, is having the life she wants with Beau something she can even hope for? Is this keeping her from moving forward?
You will feel all the struggles, worry, laughter and every other emotion in between that these characters are experiencing as if you are living them. The author writes with such detail that at times you wish she would not keep things as real as she does, then you only end up appreciating that she does. Life is not easy and sometimes you really have to fight for what you want even if you don’t get what you want. There are some really wonderful moments you find along Phoebe's journey. You will want some tissues for both happy and sad times. There are some surprises and several turn of events to keep this reader turning pages. I love the interactions of the characters and how they are there for each other. Of course there are characters that you won’t be happy about but again doesn’t life have people in them we aren’t happy with?
This is not an easy or quick read but one you will not want to put it down unless you have to take a breath you didn't even know you were holding. Everything that is happening until the very last page builds until the last page and even then you are left with needing more of Phoebe’s story. It is a great story for those who love stories with lots of raw emotions. I would recommend this book to everyone who can deal with the mentioned above. It is a series that haunts you. I can't wait to read more from this excellent author.
