A lovely book with interesting ideas and suggestions. My artists daughter and son-in-law have enjoyed the book. As they said there is always something to learn and draw your attention to a new point in art. Definitely worth a review. I received this book through a Goodreads Giveaway, and I thank the publisher for sharing it with me and my family.

My cousin Stephanie's and Magdalen Livesey's book is hard to put down. It is a treasure and a pleasure to read. What is most interesting to me are the exploratory and experimental illustrations which lead to the final art and the authors explanations of the artistic process used by these great illustrators. Congratulations to the two of you on a beautiful book.

It's an OK book. You gotta have fundamentals if you'd like to copy the drawings.

The people's images are outdated, which make the book a fun read. Are these drawings from the 40's? I dunno. Maybe in 70 years from now young people will laugh at the men's obsession to grow facial hair in the 2020's.

O well... we live the best we can in out time.

O livro explora fundamentos da ilustração de forma curta e direta com inúmeros (e lindos) exemplos, como as belas ilustrações que Norman Rockwell produziu para as capas da Saturday Evening Post. Um livro indispensável para todo ilustrador

I think it is a wonderful book. It is very interesting and very creative. I have not try to draw yet, but will soon. It teaches very well and I'm sure I will be able to draw what they have in the picture's. This book is good for anyone wanting to learn to draw.
