A good easy to read biography on Sojourner Truth. Be aware that there is talk of her evangelical mission for your non-Christian students.

Second or third grade level biography of Sojourner Truth. Good first chapter book with headings. I wish the headings were a little more detailed.

This is the first children's book about Sojourner Truth that I've read that has ever mentioned that she was a preacher. I loved this biography because of that!
