A writing career was the last item listed on her bucket list, until she discovered that she wanted to put her stories on paper and breathe life into her characters. Her love for Scotland, curiosity of history, and passion for romance has inspired her to write her first book, Highland Burn.
“Fourteenth century Scotland was a fascinating time in history. Not only was Scotland fighting for their freedom from the English king, their own people fought each other; clan vs clan. Though being a woman of the twenty-first century, I wouldn’t want to live in those unsettled times. But writing historical fiction paranormal romance allows me to escape into their world and breathe a fresh air of romance and magic into that era, which I love to do.”

A Game of Hearts by Tigris Eden - Zori is sure of what she wants, or so she thinks. Mateo has known and been working toward his goal for some time. They are best friends and they end up going on vacation together. They are HOT together! I love this fantasy world that provides them with their fantasy!
Franklin's Heart by Olivia Gaines - Overall I enjoyed this story. The way that Franklin loved his wife was something else! Mia isn’t really aware there is a problem because she can’t see past her own wants. The only issue I had was I found it hard to follow the changing of characters there was no definitive way to tell who was “talking” or thinking certain things as it would switch often.
Cowboy in Paradise by Hildie McQueen - Curt and Elisa don’t seem like a couple who would suit each other. She hurt him and hurt herself as well when she left him. This one was emotional and easy to read. May cause triggers.
Summer in Paradise by J D Monroe - Noah and Caroline knew each other in high school, but kind of from a distance. They each secretly had a crush on the other, but never knew. Now, into adulthood, their life circumstances put them in the same place. I enjoyed how Noah handled Caroline and her “issues”. When she finally let go, they meshed well together. I loved her best friend too.
Undertones by Xyla Turner - I loved this story!! One of my favorites in the anthology! Bianca goes from meek/mild to sassy. Travis goes from arrogant to broody to loving. I enjoyed their dynamic and they were super HOT together! Will definitely be reading more of her work.
Your For The Weekend by Lana Williams - Brody and Amanda's story was interesting. Brody needed a date to his best friend's wedding and Amanda needed money. I liked the way they were alone together, but when around others, they seemed uncertain. The ex got on my nerves and the way Amanda believed her even after she lied annoyed me. It was a good story and that was my only issue.
Midnight's Kiss by by Victoria Zak & DL Roan - Dario and Catalina have a beautiful story. Instant attraction, but priorities get in the way. I enjoyed "watching" Dario try to get Cat to give in and the chasing her. The ending was perfect!
I really enjoyed this set of stories and found some new to me authors!!

Came across this series of books thanks to one of my favourite authors - D. L. Roan. When the boxset was released I had to give it a try and so glad I did. These books are cleverly written in that they all based at Indulgence Resort on Aragon Island. There are recurring characters in all the stories - Antonio Aragon, the Islands owner, his work partner and lover, Kenderly, and Mario, the extravagant and outrageous events manager.
Each story is based around a couple, either arriving separately or together, who find themselves living out fantasies they didn't even realise they had. Don't misunderstand, these fantasies don't tend towards the kink (well not all) but more to do with finding or rekindling love in exciting and erotic ways.
Great series and a brilliant way to introduce new authors to your reading selection. I will definitely be reading some of the books by the other authors now.
