Dr. Sleep

Rate this book
I was 23-years-old when I met Dr. Stone. On the table for a colonoscopy, I was prepped for sedation. They didn’t call him Dr. Sleep for nothing. The man stuck a needle in my vein, letting the medicine take me down to a place where dreams come true. Drifting off, I prepared to wake with no memory of it all. However, feeling him touch my breasts in pleasure, I opened my eyes to see if I was awake. Shocked at my sobriety, Dr. Sleep returned me into the realm of dreams. Little did he know, those taboo dreams would eventually become reality.

WOW what a Dr. Visit this turns out to be!

Have you ever read a book and thought WOW this author really leads an exciting life or has one heck of an imagination? Well J.D. Grayson is that person for me. His love for writing books with a Taboo storyline are just addicting. Now that’s an interesting choice of words “addicting” considering the subject matters often found his book.

If you enjoy Taboo books or storylines that you stop and wonder “do people really do this stuff” or “MMmmm I wonder what that would be like”, then Dr. Sleep won’t let you down. It’s a hot erotic tale about a young girl with a strange fetish. One that costs her “a lot” and has her wondering why she can’t just be normal (because plain ole vanilla just doesn’t work for). Then she meet Dr. Sleep, the anesthesiologist at the hospital where she goes for a routine exam. Seem like he has the same fetish and it has cost him dearly too. Can these two help each other or does there meeting just cause more harm? 2 Thumbs up for this well written, erotic taboo story, with characters that you just want to hug and say you may be a little different but you are NOT worthless or unloveable.

This book was hot and short. There's really not much I can say about it. It took me an hour to read, and I will say that the kink factor of this book was off the charts! Reading the description I was pulled in and got a lot more then I thought I would.

Both characters were great. They had been made to feel bad for what they wanted and liked but in finding each other, they found what they craved.

The whole plot revolves around what you read in the description and I found my self liking that I was reading. It was different and seemed wrong but it was interesting.

Overall, it was short and I felt that it ended really abruptly but I still enjoyed it. If your looking for something short, hot and Taboo, then read this book. 4 stars #2OCCJD

Wow! We all have fantasies, right? But when April Adams met Dr Stone (aka Dr Sleep, an anaestheiologist) while having a routine colonoscopy - though what's routine about having one of those, I don't know - it seems her taboo fantasies may be about to come true.
April is, in her own words, a sleep slut. She has dreams of being taken whilst asleep. the thought of her body being under total control of someone else and being unable to do anything about it is a huge turn on for her.
Dr Sleep thought he was bad, a pervert, he had to stop. But meeting April, he found someone willing to subject themselves to and share his own dark desires.
I loved this short story and will definitely read more of this author's work. If you are open minded and like a bit of kink, this is for you, though I feel is should come with an added warning - batteries not included.

If you like taboo reads then this is a must! Can't say I have fantasised about what takes place in Dr Sleep but I can say it is a hot as all get out read!

I certainly needed a cold shower after I finished reading it that's for sure

This was my first read of JD Grayson's and I'm sure it won't be the last either. I loved it.

Taboo, yes but aren't all the best thing bad? ;-)

In true J.D. Grayson style, he brings you a story of sexual taboo that will have you squirming, if not wondering if things like this happen in real life. HHMMMM It's a thought! His story is well written and quite descriptive as he brings you a storyline of a young woman with quite an unusual "kink". She likes sleep sex. Unfortunately for her, she has no one who is into the same thing that she is into and begins to wonder if something is wrong with her and really begins to feel that way when her boyfriend dumps her because of it. "Dr. Sleep" enters her life during a routine medical exam and when she awakens from the sedative she just knows that more than the test has taken place and confronts him. (I will say no more).

These characters are very well written and well defined. Dr. Stone, (Dr. Sleep), has the same fetish that April has, and he acts on it, although he is tormented by guilt and fear. April's fear is that she isn't good enough for anyone because of her "kink".

If erotic taboo is your kind of "kink", your genre, you will thoroughly enjoy this book. It is fast paced and full of all of the good things that make an erotic taboo story work. J.D. Grayson isn't called the Doctor of Erotica for nothing! I highly recommend this book.

This short taboo is definitely off the charts sexy. It fulfills a kink fantasy that I haven't read about previously. It was interesting and well written. This was a first for me by this author and I was impressed.
