Second Chance doesn't disappoint fans of the Pam of Babylon series! Suzanne Jenkins is the best when it comes to weaving romance, suspense and mystery into a series that can't be put down.

This book introduces us to a few new players who quickly weave themselves into the intrigue. Some of them win our affections immediately, while others earn our disdain. It takes a great author to create those feelings! Suzanne Jenkins does it time after time, book after book.

And again, just when you think you know what's going to happen, and where the characters are heading, she throws in a plot twist! I wish I could give this book and this series more than five stars. Five stars is not enough for this author!

Anxiously awaiting Book #16!

I love this series of books and have basically read each one from start to finish as soon as I got my hands on it. This one I had to wait until it was available. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed in it.

First, it seemed to dwell on a few characters that I think are rather boring, namely, Allison and Gladys's newfound son Dale. I'm not finding Randy all that compelling either.

Second, I know this is fiction, but these characters are always jumping the gun on relationships. Almost every character in this book meets a new love interest & within five seconds is talking marriage. Does that happen in real life? Yes, unfortunately, I did it myself once (not successfully) All these characters are prone to do it. It certainly is not because they are so moral that they see marriage being the only ethical way to have sex. Most of these folks have hinges on their heels. What I say has been true throughout the whole series, but it seemed particularly ludicrous in this volume. Lisa & Dale? Cara & Paul?

Third, this book seemed a bit disconnected to me.

Pam once again found the life that she feels she's entitled to; I'm just hoping that Randy is not engaged in criminal activity involving getting rid of Sandra in the partnership. Sandra is a character I like, although she has made several bad choices. Was she is involved in the second cliffhanger of the book aside from the drama about the partnership? Did she really just walk away after Jenna fell down the embankment?

Having said all this, I can hardly wait until additional volumes in this series.

Second Chance - a review by Rosemary Kenny.

The fallout from the death of Pam Smith's husband Jack continues in breathtaking fashion, as his children by other women and their relationships, (and hers) with other men, spreads dissension and intrigue in ever-increasing circles, with destructive outcomes or hopeful possibilities at every turn.
Suzanne Jenkins is the Queen of Romantic Suspense and Second Chance is her 15th novel in the riveting Pam Of Babylon series.
Get this unputdownable, emotional rollercoaster of a book today, to see what happens next for the extended families, friends, enemies and more - you'll be shocked, thrilled, angry, charmed - but never bored...I guarantee it!

Worth the wait.

Excellent book! I was thrilled by the length of the book; it took over three hours to read. Every second of the time was enjoyed. The characters we loved and hated were back. Some plot lines were tied up and finished, while new plot lines were started and twisted so I didn't know what to expect. By the time the last sentence was read, I wanted more. The best book of the series so far.

Great Read...As usual

I can't wait for the next adventures in Babylon. Always a great read. This was no exception. Always intrigue in everyone's lives. The new characters brought in always entwined in the life of one of the current cast. The ending always having a hook to the next story. I'm ready for #16. Thanks for such entertaining books.

This actually got interesting. I am surprised that everyone in this series doesn’t have AIDS with all the switching of partners.
