One Bear and a Baby
After years away, bear shifter, Cade, has gone home to Tawny Valley. With a baby. Which attracts the attention of the local sheriff, Isabelle. And what self-respecting sheriff wouldn’t be suspicious? So maybe he has every right to be a single father. And yes he is entitled to his privacy. Except when that one bear with a baby, just happens to be her mate. That gives her the right to find out exactly what’s going on … doesn’t it?
Cade has sole guardianship of Maisie. When the beautiful little girl’s mom, Jenni, turns up scared and then leaves in the middle of the night, he has no choice but to become her father. Not that he simply accepted Jenni running off, but despite his best efforts he couldn’t trace her. He only knows she’s alive because she sent him a message telling him to back off because he is putting them all in danger.
So he goes back to his small home town, knowing it is the best place to keep Maisie safe from whoever might be looking for her.
Isabelle Malone was recruited specifically to be the sheriff in Tawny Valley because she is a shifter. She takes her job very seriously, especially when Cade comes into town, with a baby, and her suspicions are raised as to the child’s welfare. What she isn’t expecting is for him to be her mate.
Once secrets are shared, can they work together to keep Maisie safe? And make sure she has the kind of happy childhood she deserves.

Her Bear and a Baby
Bear shifter, Beau, has become a recluse. After the death of his sister, he struggles to face the world. A once highly respected PI, he now lives alone, hardly ever venturing out in his human form. Instead, his bear is his refuge, and he knows it would be only too easy to melt away into the mountains and never return.
But the ghosts of the past hold him to his childhood home.
Bear shifter, Elise, has a problem. A promise she made on her sister’s deathbed means she must try to find the father of, Connor, her sister’s child. Beau is the man she tasks with the job, telling him she was abandoned by her mate, who left her pregnant and alone.
The only problem... When she comes face to face with Beau, she realizes he is her true mate. Should she maintain the lie? Or should she come clean and tell him the truth.
That secretly she doesn’t want to just find the man who betrayed her sister ... she’d like to put a knife in his heart instead!
When secrets are revealed, Beau and Elise find they have more in common than they ever could have imagined. And eventually they will find out who is the daddy, to baby Connor.

You can never go wrong with a box set.
I love having a series I like to reread in one box set and Ms Harmony is great at doing this for her readers.
I have included my reviews for each book below.
1 - ONE BEAR AND A BABY
What a sweet read with a kickass heroine.
Loved that Isabelle tasered and cuffed Cade. What a hoot. Really liked her for her good sense and compassion. Her reasoning for getting involved was a genuine one after seeing that burn mark on Maisie.
Cade was really nice with a touch of silly male but at least he fessed up nearly straight away.
A really good storyline that was plausible and interesting.
It was good to see Jenni get her payback and Masie was just a cutie. It was a really good solid ending that you could see working for everyone.

2 - HER BEAR AND A BABY
What a sad story behind this one.
Very hard for me to write a review for this book.
I liked both the heroine and hero in this book and enjoyed the story itself but I came away feeling very sad at what had happened. I hate drugs and anyone who deals in them. This story just hit close to home for me. The punishment they gave O’Dowd was definitely different and I hope harsh enough.

3 - SECOND CHANCE BEAR AND A BABY
I just could not bond with these two.
Sometimes you read a book and just cannot bond with the characters, this is one of those books for me.
I liked this story and enjoyed the first half but somewhere along the way Carla and Liam fell by the wayside and whilst I was very happy for Liam after what happened to Louisa I felt disassociated from him and Carla and didn’t engage with them at all for some reason.
When I first realised what Joel had done I was horrified but when I understood what would have happened to Liam I understood better.
Not the best in this series but as I liked books 1 & 2 will keep reading them.

4 - BABY PROTECTOR BEAR
A very good ending to this series with Joel finding his mate in Chrissie, a social worker who needs help protecting baby Sam.
Well written enjoyable story but I guessed who the baddie was pretty early on. I did smirk when Joel thought he had been drugged, poetic justice. Luckily it was just because his mate was near.
Sorry to say this is supposed to be the last in this series of cute reads.

Wow Just Wow!!!

To say this book set is good would be like saying Mt. Everest is a hill. Just like It. Everest is majestic this book set is fantastic. Bears, bears and more bears. Babies, babies and more babies. Mates, mates and more mates. Every thin we expect from Harmony Raine's and more. This set maybe her best yet. But I have not read all her books yet. Maybe she can top this but I don't know how. These stories tugged my heart strings from start to finish. Well written, fully developed and livable characters and storylines that pull you into them from the get go. What more could you ask for? More books, more romance, more SHIFTERS please. Most highly recommended for adults only.

Great to get all these books in one set at a super price!

This is a bit different from the Bear Creek and Bear Bluff stories. There is a lot more action in these. The series focuses on bringing down a drug ring and all the people who are drawn into this effort as well as the aftermath. There are 4 stories that follow one right after the other, over the course of a few years.

This series has a much more violent tone than anything else I have read by Harmony Raines. There is also a much faster pace. But the stories still have her trademark fantastic characters with great character development, a storyline that is action and character oriented, steamy scenes and some laughs. If that sounds good to you, I know you will enjoy this series! Try it and you'll see.

Ms. Raines writes delightful books with great characters as well as wonderful caring shifters. There is always a happy ending and while they are short reads, the continuity of the environment and consistent follow-up with characters from previous books makes this a great read. Four books that are connected by a storyline, in this case it's a policy issue. The four stories start off with a problem and each succeeding story continues the case. Very interesting and enjoyable! You end up reading a fairly long book!

Who's the Daddy?

Great stories. Beau and Elise are mates. She hires him to find her nephews father. Liam and Carla are next. Liam is still mourning the death of his mate two years ago. Carla is his second chance thanks to Joel. Joel and Chrissie are next. He has transferred from narc department to be with his partner Liam. Chrissie is a social worker who is going into hiding with a baby and Joel is to be her protector. There are surprise evils in all three of the stories.

Good shifter Bear collection.

This is a good series and they can be read alone, but as characters float over from other stories it's much better to read them this way, in the collection. They all have sex, suspenseful action and viral male shifter men. Harmony Raines books are always a great read for me.

This author really wrote so many books?

The stories are basic, cute, but not complex. I was disappointed by the dismal Editting. The language was somewhat stilted - people I know use contractions. And I can't believe the author didn't do one last read thru to ensure when she wrote JOEL, she didn't really mean LIAM!

This boxed set has four different stories about babies. Each story is quite different and I really enjoyed each one. My strong women show up and each is very different. It always amazes me when an author takes a theme and manages to write such different stories.

Outstanding

This was a very good and wonderful to read. I love how she was able to see her goals could be changed, and for the better. It was enjoyable to read how they were able to become closer and in the end be able to actually have a ready made little family to strive for.

Family Growth

The amazing ability for human growth when it comes to love and forgiveness. The ability to be boundless when it comes to these things... It humbled me. The ability to change one’s mind and perspective. Just reading about it made me happy.

Really enjoyed this one...

This turned out to be the endcap or complimentary story to the third story, which finishes off Liam and Joel's partnership as undercover drug officers. Lots of twists and turns, romance, mystery, a little of everything.

Fun, heroic & sexy

This collection of books follows four protective bear shifters finding their mates. Three cops and a slightly retired PI find their true loves. In each situation, love, babies and suspense are involved in the journey to winning their mates. Each shifter must overcome problems facing his mate or the child that brings them together. Each of the mated women is a strong force to be reckoned with. Their partnerships are impressive to behold as they develop into love despite hardship. I Love the honest, heroic and loving characters in these books.

Four great stories

This bundle was very fun, exciting , and of course each story has a baby involved in the story. It has everything a good story needs, especially a HEA. Easy to read, and of course shifters, excitement, danger, and protecting and loving babies.

Werebear stories, babies, and police mysteries

Each of these stories are related to the others as in same characters or take off from the same story line. Very quick read in the Harlequin style. Great characterization and well-written plot. Adult readers due to sexual content and violent content.
