Okay, things to know about this book. It's a good beginner book to build a foundation on understanding what makes a strong theory, what the different concepts and key terms are, and breaks down popular theories like Kant's "Groundwork" into easy to understand parts. The book also provides quite a few case studies which are fun to think about. I wouldn't rely on it for all your Ethics study, but it's a solid starting point if you don't know where to begin.

Excellent resource for small group discussion on a variety of ethical issues. The publisher, Oxford University Press, also provides outlines of chapters and power point presentations based on the material. Complex issues and theories are explained and illustrated well. I used it in a sophomore college class and the students had very few issues understanding the reading material.
