Wren is a normal everyday girl, at least that’s what she believes. What she doesn’t know is that she’s part of a much bigger picture. She’s about to find out though and it will change everything she’s ever known.
When a new guy shows up at school she can’t help but feel connected to him. It’s a connection she has to fight and keep secret from her boyfriend, Jake.
Just when her life begins coming together it comes unraveled. Some secrets are hard to keep but others aren’t meant to be kept.
Wren discovers that she’s a descendant of the one and only Little Red Riding Hood.
The second everything comes out into the open Wren’s world changes drastically. She learns that Jake is a hunter, along with their friend Noah. Her other close friend, Aiden, is a descendant of Van Helsing, and Liam…Liam is the wolf from all of the stories she’s been told about.
The only difference is that Liam isn’t a big bad wolf.
No, that’s not how Wren’s story goes. In fact it’s far from it. Instead of being afraid of Liam, Wren is drawn to him. They share a deep connection, but that’s all thanks to the curse they share. It’s a curse that had destroyed her mother’s love, her grandmother’s love, and the many descendants that came before her. The curse was meant to destroy her happiness.
Thankfully the curse can be broken. It’s not an easy task though and with danger lurking around every corner it makes it nearly impossible. Add the fact that she can’t tell Liam and Jake how to break the curse and it makes it that much more difficult.
Fortunately fate takes the situation into its own hands.
They are saved but not without a price.
Loved ones will die. Wren’s faith will be tested. Her heart will be broken.
Only the one she truly loves will save her in the end.

OMG!! This is such a fantastic take on Red Riding Hood. Wren is in high school and has begun a re;ationship with Jake, the football jock. One day a new boy, Liam, begins school. Wren gets an uncomfortable feeling around him but is also drawn to him. He lives next door to her so is in her space, so to speak. Wren and her mother live just a mile away from her grandmother who lives in the woods. One day Wren heads to her grandmother;s and hears an argument between her mother and grandmother. Then a few days later, her mother tells her that they are descendants of Red Riding Hood. Then slowly and through tragedy Wren discovers that all her friends have secrets too.
This is fantastic story and read that will keep you enthralled to the last page. Some twists, some turns and excitement galore.

A wonderful re-telling of Little Red Riding Hood. The characters are mysterious and very interesting. The author has written the story using modern high school drama and her imagination as well as using tidbits from the fairytale to create a memorable storyline that will make you fall in love with these special characters. I'm looking forward to reading about some of the other characters in future books from this author. Aiden thinks there isn't anything for him to worry about so that's why there should be something. Jake and his sister should have their story as well. Liam was a great character before and after. Epilogue?

Absolutely fantastic! The spin on this classic tale was absolutely perfect. It was not only believable, but captured the reader through the entire book. I couldn't put it down. I love Wren, Liam and Jake. I hope there is a part 2, as I'd love to hear more about them (and of course what happens to Noah and Amanda, and Wren's mom and Grant). I couldn't get enough of this book. Now seeking out her other books. I want to read them all!

The book is a good teen and young adult read. The story is not your childhood Little Red Riding Hood. The story a captivate retelling of the fairy tale. The story has paranormal, fantasy, and romance.

Spin on the fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood with shifters and a curse. The storyline was good but it didn't have the depth for me to really get into it.

I received a copy of this book from the author. Review voluntarily given.

Little Red Riding Hood Reborn

Wolf
Life's a Fairytale Collection Book 1
Raven K. Asher

This was an imaginative retelling of the little red riding hood story. Wren's journey will tug at your heartstrings as her story pulls you through everyone's life. You cannot help but root for her on her path, and the story pulls you in page after page. Of course the wolf and the hunter will clash - but will they come through it for Wren? A story you will have to read!!!
