Although Beauty and the Beast is my favourite Disney movie (Snow White a close second) I can't give this book 5 stars because I don't like the title. The title could have been more subtle, like, "A cursed prince" or something along those lines. This book is aimed at very young children because there are only a few words per page.

The Beast has long been my favorite Disney character, so of course I had to check this one out when I saw it on the library shelf. It's basically the story of beauty and the Beast told from the Beast's perspective - albeit way watered down. Typical Little Golden Book.
