I love stories with second chances. It shows the grace and forgiveness people work through. This story was very well written with two wonderful characters that I adored. What happens if you decide you don't want to get married on your wedding day? Cynthia was about to marry the man she has loved forever, but something stops her. I loved how she followed her dream even though she made a hasty getaway . Can you imagine what the groom must have felt when he realized his bride has run away?

Keith has not forgotten about that painful day four years ago when his dream went thousands of miles away to Austrailia. I really loved his character because he had great manners and treated womrn with respect. Cynthia had left him at the altar but now they find themselves back in the same small town. Keith has joined his dad's veterinarian clinic. There is one small problem though. Guess who has been working there while Keith was getting his vet's license? Oh my the story is fun when Cynthia and Keith see each other after all those years. I loved the beautiful scriptures the author uses that ties beautifully to the story. There are a few surprises in the story about a certain boot that will remind you that dreams do come true. It's a great read about two people who each much learn to forgive and open their hearts to a second chance.

I received a copy of this book from the author. The review is my own opinion.

Firstly thanks to the Author for my review copy.

I had a day in hospital and this was a great book to read to help pass the day. I enjoyed this book because it mentions Australia and has the fact done well unlike many books that try to write about my country but get facts or information wrong. The books starts with a Cynthia faced with the choice of working in Australia on a sheep station or getting married and working while her fiance finishes his degree.

Fast forward four years. Cyn is now working in the same practice as her ex-fiance Keith. She still loves Keith but thinks its to late for them due to her leaving him and tries to handle the fact he has moved on. Meanwhile Keith is struggling with the situation and to why she left. Enter an attractive pet owner of a cat that seems to enjoy getting into scraps. We see both Cyn and Keith doing some thinking and working through issues and deciding what they want. I really enjoyed this novella it was easy to read and captured my attention.

Cinderella's Boot is A Runaway Bride novella Book 7 written by Author Darlene Franklin.

I enjoy Author Darlene Franklin's writing. It's smoothly and creatively written, I cannot put down the book until I'm finished. Cinderella's Boot storyline is for second chances and forgiveness. That's easier said than done for me and even maybe for others. If I can do it, my heart and soul would be much better. Enjoyed and loved your book!

A ENJOYABLE FAIRYTALE GONE COUNTRY
Cinderella's Boot was an enjoyable book to read. The characters were delightful - the 2-legged as well as the 4-legged, and the story-line was fun. It's one of those books that just kind of sucks you in on the first chapter until - SURPRISE! - you have your HEA. =) It's that perfect lazy day or before bed story.

Cinderella’s Boot #7 A Runaway Bride Novella

Cynthia Ellen Cooper, fondly known as Cyn by some or Cinderella by others...which certainly fits after she ran away and left her groom at the alter and her wedding boot “in the dust”. Fast forward four years later, Keith Cartwright, now a licensed DVM, has come home to work with his dad in their veterinary clinic. He knows Cyn is working there also, but can his heart handle seeing her everyday? Has Cyn really gotten over Keith? I love the small town Cyn and Keith live in, even with everyone knowing all about everyone else….the good and the bad. This is a story about second chances, grace, forgiveness, love and faith and I love the Scripture verses woven within the story-line at key moments. There are some fun surprises in this story that had me chuckling, especially one with the boot...but not saying, loved that part! A fun, heartwarming story.

Cinderella's Boot by Darlene Franklin
A Runaway Bride Novella Book Seven
Cynthia Ellen Cooper. AKA Cyn to some. AKA Cinderella to others. Only life didn't turn out to be the fairy tale everyone expected it to be. Instead of meeting Prince Charming at the altar...she turned into the runaway bride.

Keith Cartwright is finished with school and has come home to work with his dad in their veterinary clinic, as a licensed DVM. The girl who broke his heart four years ago also works there. He thought after four years he had worked through everything. But he could be wrong.

I really enjoyed this story. The joys of living in a small town where everyone knows you...and knows what you had done four years ago. There were some unique secondary characters and more to the story line than a second chance romance.

I enjoyed the fact that the author integrated what we know of the life of John Mark from the Bible into the narrative. She compared her main character's choices, relationships and consequences of those choices with the Bible character. It was an interesting way for me to learn more about John Mark. This was a fun, quick read.
