WICKED AWESOME 100% SPOILER FREE . This is a novella leading up to the grand finale we have all been waiting for while at the same time wishing it never had to end. As usual R.L does a splendid job bringing us into the world(s) created in this short story. The details are on point, you can feel the pain of those trapped with Eva in OZ while they do her dirty deeds. It seems there is no hope left for Lori, Peter, and Edward. Have they truly sealed their fate for good? Is it possible Snow and James could be the salvation they need? They are on their way to wage a war and fight to the death to finish what was started so long ago. What goes for Pandora and "Death" so to call him? They have a history she can't exactly remember, but why? And who exactly is she? What role will she play in what's sure to be an EPIC ending to a series we all have loved. Will anyone get their happily ever afters? Will Good finally prevail over evil, or has too much bad been done for anyone to correct the wrongs? If you aren't up to speed with this series I highly recommend the main volumes for audiences of all ages, take the ride of a lifetime and be transported into the lands you thought you knew, get to know the truth of the characters you loved growing up and see if your feelings remain the same. The series is phenomenal and not worth missing. **** side note ***** there are spin off novellas that are just as epic as the full length novels but check the description first as some are made for readers 18+
100% spoiler free In this Novella we get to meet two basically new characters. It's a short, fast paced story that leaves more questions than answers. But who else better to leave us wondering than the amazing R.L, if you've been following this series then you will know exactly what I mean. If you haven't I definitely recommend catching up before the final book releases, there are a few killer spin off Novellas I also recommend reading; although, it's not necessary to have read the series to enjoy the novellas. Having been following this series since book one I absolutely can't wait to see where the final installment will take us. If you're like me and also have been following, it's both exciting and sad to know this beloved series will be coming to an end. This wasn't the lead up to the end that I was expecting and that is what's so magical about R.L Weeks, she is sure to surprise every single time.
I liked the story and where it was taking off from the last book. I felt is was very short and I would have liked to have seen a bit more about Pandora and Eva and what was going on. I feel like I should have re-read the last book because maybe I forgot some things. Overall, this is a good addition to the series. I like the way the author twists the fairytales together and makes them new.
The last book was a bit of a mess, the story didn't flow very well but it introduced an interesting concept at the end tying the seven deadly sins to fairytales. This was explored more in this book and just as it started to get good it cut off. I'm not sure if RL Weeks will continue this series but I'd love to read a full Verizon of this book.
I enjoyed this novella from R.L. Weeks. It puts a new twist on the classic tales that I grew up with. R.L. Weeks is a great storyteller and I look forward to reading more her in the very near future!!
