Edwyn is rattled and on his heels with his world turned upside-down—and that’s bad news for the men holding the love of his life hostage. Heads are about to roll, literally, and the blood is going to flow.
And God help Virginia’s kidnappers if she ends up with a leak.
I don't know. I sort of like the tone of this, how the way the killer kills people is kind of funny. But, even typing that sentence out I realize I have no idea what his name is. I don't know any of the characters' names ... wait, I do know the sex doll's name - Virginia.
From this point on I'm just going to wait until all of the issues for the first (or only?) volume are out because there's not enough happening in each single issue for the story to really grab me.
this is could almost pass as comedy its so hilarious it hurts except of course that our serial killer is in love with a sex doll and driving around with a dead cop whose been shot in the head and that he actually feeds them donuts? on second thought this is really disturbing
Can't decide if I like this new series or not. #2 is definitely better than the first issue in my opinion, the art is maybe not what I usually prefer, but it fits the story well, so thumbs up on that.
But, I don't know, a story of a serial killer, andcharacter that you really not like...well, there should be...hard to put my finger on what I am missing. Tv-show Dexter had it, but Plastic....well, not entirely convinced. Probably will pick up #3, so there must be something...
The premise of this story sounded silly to me at first...But I am hooked! Kinda sorry I didn't get the entire story in one paperback, but as soon as I get my hands on the rest of the issues I will devour them. We follow a guy who is inlove with a sex doll that he named Virginia. After an unfortunate incident, Virginia is now captive and he must get her back. The art is fantastic! Super bloody and gory in a can't-take-your-eyes-off kind of way and also quite funny. The writer has a decent sense of humor.
This seemed like a very interesting horror comic book but I DID NOT see Virginia turning out to be a doll coming. I wonder where Mother is in all of this? This is going to be an adventure and I can’t wait for the ride.
