A quick but gripping read. The writing style is very good. I got very intrigued by the setup and story, I would really like to read more about these characters and this world.

I am a huge fan of dystopian-type settings, and what happens to people when it seems all hope is lost. Raza is a man who has lost everything and he's on his own - but that's the way he wants it. When he comes across a small group of survivors, he wants to just keep moving. I won't spoil much but Raza becomes hope personalized to them, whether he wants to or not. I like the secondary characters a lot, too. You get emotionally attached to them, and fear for them in this dangerous situation. There's a few good twists in there that keep you guessing, and overall, the story is interesting, and makes you want to see what happens.

I received a free copy of this book and have decided to review it.yhe book is a good start to a series. I just wish it were longer. The main character deals with some struggles that he comes to terms with. it's a good book and I found myself agreeing with Raza in some of his actions where another character was concerned. If you read it I'm sure you will understand. No spoilers here.
