Samantha is a Criminal Prosecutor and over the years it has left her uptight , jaded and very guarded when it comes to any man with Tattoos, but when she gets to know Colin a Tattoo artist she decides to Release those chains she keeps tightly wrapped around her heart and give him a chance.
Until a new case , involving a friend of Colin's could put them both in danger .
Will trouble keep these two apart?
I read the part 1 teaser first and needed to find out what was going to happen between these two . Opposites really do attract . Samantha and Colin definitely had a lot of sexual chemistry from the beginning ,and the rest of the book was filled with action , intrigue and drama , but I wondered would it be enough with all the emotional push and pull from friends , very different careers and their own inner voices.
I loved the Story and the authors pairing of a Yummy Tattoo Artist and a criminal Prosecutor

Once again Zoe Reid out does herself with a fabulous read. This book sucks you in from the very beginning and keeps you wanting more so you won't put it down till the end. When you live your life for work and never take time for yourself due to the past can a person put their guard down for one night of unbelievably phenomenal sex? Samantha Carr is the top prosecutor in Colorado and hasn't lost a case until this very moment. Colin is an unbelievable tattoo artist who has a past which consists of being an alcoholic and going to jail. When Samantha's best friend wants to get a tattoo, they just so happen to walk into the one which Colin owns. When they introduce themselves, he realizes that she is the one who put him in jail and thanks her. Without her being so good at her job, he wouldn't be where he is today and completely sober. When they all decide to go out after the tattoo, one thing leads to another and the 2 of them go home together. It's the best sex that either one of them have ever had. Unfortunately due to who they are a relationship isn't in the cards for them. Or can it be? You are going to have to read this book to find out. I am not the type of reviewer that is going to give the story away because you wouldn't purchase the book yourself. You will not be disappointed. This book will keep you wanting more with everything going on. It's a must read. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.

This entire book may just leave you needed a long cold shower.
The chemistry between these characters is palpable. Two people from two walks of life. Both know they need to stay away but just can't seem to.
Definitely highly recommend, this is a quick little read that you'll love.

Samantha, after many years of prosecuting tatooed criminals, she has lots of negative opinions of men with tatoos. Colin, owner of a tatoo shop, with lots of tatoos of his own, was sent to prison by Samantha years earlier. Does this sound like a wonderful relationship waiting to happen to you, or is it just one impulsive night of great sex and fun? They definitely have lots of chemistry between them, but is this enough. This is another winner by Zoe Reid. It is a great story. I voluntarily reviewed this advance copy, and I highly recommend it.

Really really good short story! Action packed from the beginning and jus gets better as the book goes on. Sammy and Colin..... were only meant to be one night, but they can't stay away.... Sammy is an attorney putting away tattooed criminal and Colin owns his own tattoo shop! Sammy previous put Colin behind bars and he is grateful to her for saving his life! Really great read and highly recommended.

After reading the first part I was excited to see how things worked out for Colin and Samantha...I wasn't disappointed. Work is stressful for Samantha but is still able to let loose with Colin on the weekends but after a bad situation with one of his employees things get a bit hairy between the two. They have to make a choice and not an easy one and when her work finds out about the two of them a major decision is made for her which devastates her. They both need to get their lives straightened out with everything that is happening around them. Will they find their way back to each other? Read and find out the conclusion to their story.
A great read with steamy scenes, a great story that flowed nicely and you can't judge a person from their looks or their past. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I would have liked to find out how Xavier (Colin's friend) ended up after breaking his sobriety and what the tattoo is on Samantha.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I would have liked to find out how Xavier (Colin's friend) ended up after breaking his sobriety and what the tattoo is on Samantha.

I loved this book! These is nothing sexier than a steamy romance between the straight laced lawyer and the tattoo shop owner. Samantha and Colin have are opposites, but they cannot resist each other, but it makes when they give into their undeniable attraction all the better.
I cannot wait to read more Zoe Reid. She is a fantastic author that get s the reader so engrossed in her fantastic stories. I could not put this book down.
