Heartwarming, Sexy, Fun and Emotional Small Town Romance In one of my favorite locations Cupid, Texas. Cupid faces a possible cattle epidemic and gets a visit from the USDA and she arrives in town at just the right time.
I love that Kyle Lawrence and his story take place at the same time as the last adventure in this wonderful town. Kyle is caring, sweet, smart and way to intellectual to believe in the cupid dance. Dr. Tempest Tangier arrives in town to verify a possible outbreak in the area and calls in a possible break in at the local veterinary clinic by a naked man in the middle of the night. Cupid answers the dance once again! Loved every emotional twist.
This is the 5th book in the Cupid Series and loving it more and more as the stories go. This book has Kyle Lawrence doing the cupid dance.
With his brother’s hat covering the most delectable party of Kyle he doesn’t notice a woman in her car watching him break into the vet’s office.
Dr Tempest Tangier is from the USDA with some news of the sample Kyle took from his best friends cow. She is a bit embarrassed when she finds out Kyle is not breaking in to his own office.
As the two work closely together waiting on more news to come on on the cow disease they learn about each other but Tempest has a secret she can’t let out but she is falling for Kyle.
Can these two trust each other and trust in the superstition?
Advanced copy of this book is kindly provided by author and I voluntarily reviewed.
This the 5th book in the Cupid series. The theme for all the books is the same (dance naked around the Cupid statue at midnight to find true love) but each story is about a different couple. The series pulls all the books together, but each can be read stand alone and has a HEA. In this story Kyle Lawrence, the second of three brothers is the one that has to dance naked because of losing a bet with his best friend Cody. Kyle doesn’t believe that finding his true love has anything to do with doing the silly “Cupid Stupid” dance. After all, he is single, loving it, and not looking for anything serious. Dr. Tempest Tangier, agent with the USDA is not looking forward to her meeting with Dr. Kyle Lawrence, the local veterinarian. The blood sample he sent to be tested was positive, and he will have to put down the infected cow and quarantine the rest of the herd which won’t make her very popular. Since the local motel was closed for repairs she was spending the night sitting in her car in the clinic parking lot. When Tempest sees a naked man wearing only a cowboy hat breaking into the vet clinic, she calls the sheriff. Turns out the naked burglar is none other than Dr. Kyle Lawrence, the vet she has to meet with in the morning. Tempest has a secret about her past that she can’t let get out or it will ruin her chances of ever having a vet clinic of her own. Because of this secret she has never had friends, dated or had a close relationship with a man. Since Tempest is the first woman Kyle sees after the “Cupid Stupid” dance the superstition says she will be the one. This proves to Kyle that the superstation can’t be true. After all, she is the enemy and won’t be in town long enough to get to know her. Or will she? This is a good book and a good addition to the Cupid TX series. I received an ARC copy of the book for my honest review.
Cupid Cures by Sylvia McDaniel is a great small town romance. #5 of the highly anticipated "Return to Cupid, Texas" series. While, #5 it can be read as a stand alone. However, to thoroughly enjoy this series from the beginning, might I suggest reading all of this delightful and entertaining series.
This is the story of Kyle Lawrence, the local veterinarian with a gentle heart and Dr. Tempest Tangier, a USDA investigator, with a famous past. Plus the superstition of dancing naked at midnight around the Cupid statue brings true love. Superstition or truth? You decide!
A delightful tale that is heartwarming as well as entertaining. I think this one is one of my favorites of this series.
Tempest and Kyle most find a cure for a possible cattle epidemic before it's too late for the neighbors of Cupid, Texas. Sparks fly in more ways than one between Kyle and Tempest.
This series has been such a fun but serious series. Full of surprises, twists and turns, plus a sweet and heartwarming love. The characters are engaging, believable and realistic. The storyline is once again, entertaining and interesting. I enjoyed how Kyle and Tempest worked together to find a cure for not only the cattle but for their hearts, as well. Can they rescue themselves as well as the cattle, and their neighbors livelihood?
A quick read, packed full of emotion. Another lazy and relaxing afternoon read. A great read by Sylvia McDaniel! I absolutely love this series. I received a complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.

Cupid Cures Return to Cupid Texas #5 by Sylvia McDaniel Rating 5 stars Heat 4 🔥
Kyle Lawrence is the family and town vet, an all-around nice guy and smooth talker with the ladies. Following the bet he made with his brother-in law he has to dance the Cupid Dance, but he doesn't believe in the towns superstitious mumbo jumbo. A man of his word he has to follow through and be done with it.
Dr. Tempest Tangier is a veterinarian working for the USDA and she's a stickler for following the rules. She's in Cupid to prevent a potential deadly cattle disease. She's not looking for any type of relationship not with her past, she needs to keep focused and out of the public radar. But when she meets Dr.Kyle Lawrence things just got a little bit more interesting.
This was another winner, an entertaining story full of emotions. Loved Kyle he wasn't the typical he-man he's compassionate, caring and fun to be around with. Tempest is a woman hiding from her past and vulnerable but yet she had to learn how to survive. Kyle gave her a glimpse of a life that could become hers. A quick read that keeps you laughing and cheering for Kyle to be the hero and conquer the woman that belongs with him. Sylvia McDaniel has done it again reading one of her books is like having a reunion with old friends, you never get tired of seeing them. I received a complimentary copy from the author for my honest unbiased opinion.
Cupid Cures is the 5th book in the Return to Cupid series and Sylvia McDaniel did not disappoint.
This story is about Kyle Lawrence, the town vet and one of Kelsey’s brothers from Cupid’s Dance and Tempe Tangier also a vet but from USDA.
These two meet when Kyle does the naked Cupid Stupid dance around the town statue and goes back to his vet clinic/hospital with nothing but a cowboy hat to cover himself. Tempe has arrived in town early and is waiting in her car at the clinic/hospital and thinks that Kyle is breaking in. She calls the police and once Ryan shows up (he chuckles because he know Kyle did the dance) they knock on the door of the clinic/hospital to find Kyle dressed.
Tempe is in town because Kyle sent a report about a possible case of a deadly disease among his soon to be brother in law's herd. While Tempe has a infamous past that she wants to keep hidden she finds that Kyle is someone she can open up to for the first time in her life.
While these two are dealing with an epidemic that could ruin a lot of ranches they also find a mutual attraction that only becomes stronger the more time they spend together but will it be wiped out when she is done with her job or will they find that Cupid has struck again????
Now it's Drew's turn to do the naked Cupid Stupid dance......
Have you've heard the one about Cupid, two vets and a randy bull? Well it goes like this......This fun romance runs parallel to Cupid Help Me! and is a much more enjoyable and faster paced book. When Dr Tempest Tangier arrives in the small town of Cupid to conduct her own trials into a potential epidemic, sparks fly, but not necessarily the ones that make one feel good. Kyle realises that if he is going to keep a lid on the tempers of the local cattle ranchers, he has to walk a very fine line. Added to the drama is the Cupid superstition and all eyes are on Kyle and Tempe. As Tempe starts to take blood samples from the cattle, tempers flare and before long Kyle realises that the emotions he is feeling aren't only related to the stress they are under, but feelings of protectiveness toward Tempe as she navigates her course through the small town's mistrust. Unfortunately Tempe has a history that makes it difficult for her to commit to a relationship with Kyle. This fun romance is both serious and full of mischief and the connection between Kyle and Tempe is one that would make any woman's heart melt. There were a few typos, however they didn't detract from the story line. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Another winner for Sylvia McDaniel! It starts off the same as all the previous books, but changes dramatically when an epidemic threatens the Cupid ranchers' livelihood. Kyle, a hometown veterinarian, reluctantly teams up with Tempe, who is a USDA employee sent to investigate the outbreak. The budding relationship has several hurdles, not the least of which is Tempe's father's criminal activities.
Kyle was a sweetie, wanting to protect Tempe once he learned her secrets. He accepted his love for her, even though he didn't believe in the Cupid Dance. I wanted to hold Tempe, because she was so broken by her father's crimes and her mother's reaction to them.Tempe was willing to forego any chance of future happiness to protect any possible future family from her past shame. Luckily, she found a community eager to surround her with friendship and love.
I became engaged in the ranchers' apprehension regarding the outcome of the investigation. The town meeting was fraught with antagonism and anxiety.
This was, in my opinion, the best of the series so far, but the next one promises to be on par. I read this book as part of my Kindle Unlimited membership. This is my honest opinion.
"Cupid Cures" is another great read, and the 5th in the 'Return to Cupid,Texas' series! After reading the other books, I knew how much fun this one was going to be as well, so I shut out the world and read it in one sitting. Kyle, the veterinarian, did his time dancing naked around the statue after losing a bet. Trying to sneak into his clinic, the first woman he meets is Tempe, from the USDA, waiting at the clinic. The story picks up speed and doesn't slow down until Kyle and Tempe get their HEA. Not only is there fun, but we have a sexy romance, a bit of drama, and a small community that is more like family, with squabbles, but sticks together. The stories of Cupid,Texas and the people of the town just make you feel good after reading. Each book is a standalone, so you can start anywhere and enjoy. I would like to thank the author for gifting me with "Cupid Cures" and writing another great story. My opinion is my own. This is mine 5 Stars!
Cupid Cures is the fifth book in the Return to Cupid, Texas series. The theme for all the books is the same, dance naked around the Cupid statue at midnight to find true love, but each story is about a different couple, making it possible to read as a standalone. This book focuses on Tempest and Kyle. Kyle lost a bet with his friends so he is the one dancing naked around the statue. Afterward he heads to his clinic. This is where Tempest is waiting in her car for the clinic to open, and she thinks that Kyle is breaking into the clinic. This makes a rocky start to an already iffy situation. Tempest is there to investigate a cattle disease. As they spend time together, they grow closer. Will Tempest find more than just the answers she was looking for? I really enjoyed this story, and I highly recommend this book.
Kyle Lawrence does not believe in the cupid dance or that cupid will find him true love but he gets tricked into dancing naked around the statue at midnight and he thought he got away with it and nobody would find out about it yeah right but he gets caught by the beautiful investigator Dr. Tempest Tangier she sees him braking into his vet's building funny and cute read excitement and sexy read could not put it down loved every minute of it I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Sylvia McDaniel has done it again. I enjoyed the story line and characters. Tempe and Kyle deserve to be happy. Do you put your dreams in a belief of a superstition? I loved the story line it was very interesting to learn new facts about cattle and the difficulties of raising them. It is a very believable book. Makes you want to believe that dreams really can come true.
I recommend this book and will be purchasing it as soon as it is available.
I absolutely love every one of the books I've read in this series. The author never disappoints. There is an abundance of laughter, vulnerability, and heart melting love that will win you over. I couldn't put the book down. Best of all, I got to revisit the townsfolk from previous books I've read, which by the way can be read as a standalone. 100% recommend to anyone who loves heartwarming romance. Book was gifted to me.
This author's books are delightful, but there are far too many errors in them. She doesn't seem to know how to use commas, or question marks in conversations. She has trouble with adverbs and verb tenses. There were numerous spelling errors and uses of wrong words. I have to wonder if she has a competent copy editor. (Unfortunately, this is true of all indie writers whose books I have read.)
Each book of this series has gotten better and better. I think this one may have been my favorite one yet! After I read about Drew I'll have to take a break from reading. I've been sick for over a week, so my husband hasn't complained too much. But I better start getting some work done around here, or he will start! Keep your great books coming.
What a heartwarming, sex and fun place Cupid Texas is. From the books I have read in this series the theme is the same, if you want to find true love then u have to dance naked around the cupid statue at midnight. Each book is a story about a different couple and you dont have to read them in order to get the feel good from this series.
In the fifth book of the Cupid, Texas series, veterinarian Kyle is about to meet his match in FDA inspector Tempe. It is always good to return to Cupid. This is a cute small town romance with enough humor added to keep the story flowing.
I received an ARC from the author for purposes of an unbiased re
This is a really great series. It features the residents of a small town and their special statue that brings you true love. I have read several books in the series. They feature good romances and I really enjoy the humor too. Tempe and Kyle are really meant for each other and I enjoyed watching them fall in love.
Sylvia McDanial has such a great idea. A Cupid statue that brings you your forever love if you dance around it naked at midnight!! Not possible? Oh but it is!! She has such interesting ways for those loves to meet and the reasons one ends up at the statue naked are even better. If you live romance and love, then let Cupid speak to you!
Another excellent story from Sylvia McDaniel. I really enjoyed this latest addition to this series and can't wait for the next. There were a few grammatical errors but I'm sure the author will address those and update the ebook. Overall excellent!
What a great story. Loved it. Lots of humor and excitement and is emotional. I don't want to ruin it for you. All I will say is dancing naked around that fountain changes things. I highly recommend it. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.
read about a month or so ago but when I tried to add bk six on this came up ...apparently I forgot to mark this a read. Characterization: 5* likable, strong plot/storyline: 4.5* funny Ending- A good HEA: 4.5* How much I enjoyed it: 4.5* Overall rating: 4.5*
I've been enjoying this series since book one. It's funny how they all don't believe until it happens to them. It's enjoyable to know the story will be filled with love, laughter and pranks~
Did you know that cattle also have a std? It has a fifty dollar name that I did look up, and yep! It is real a plays a big part in this book. Who knew? It made for a different story that was interesting.
This was another great story about Cupid and the water dance around the the statue. This one is about Kyle and Tempe, Bothe Vets and fighting a crisis in the town of Cupid.
