The book helped me see ways to grow as a principal-coach, to make the "evaluation" process more of a growth model to help teachers grow professionally. In my district, there are parts of this book we are currently doing, but I feel like I have some refinement ideas that I can implement next year to grow more as a principal-coach who is reflective in helping others grow. I cannot wait to discuss some of these ideas with my leadership team in order to take the next step towards becoming a true teaching team!

There are lots of helpful vignettes and many that I have fallen into the trap myself.
