This Omnibus collects three original stories adapted in graphic novel form - Ghoul Goblin, War Cry, and Downtown. All were awesome and thus the collection automatically becomes great by association. Do read these along with the book series this universe is super amazing. So just keep on reading my amigos.

I have always loved comics, and I have I can. I love comics to bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and hope always to love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics, Diamond Comics, or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I just want to Keep on Reading.

I don't usually enjoy Graphic novels, but this one was fun. It contains 3 stories in the Dresden Files World that have not been published, other than in comic form. It was interesting to read Harry Dresden's Adventures in this medium & I will buy anymore Comics in this universe that are not covered in any other format. They were engaging stories & the artwork was very good. It hels my attention. Unfortunately, I read the entire book in just one day & wish they were just a little more descriptive, wordwise. Overall, a quick read, but they were good & added to the universe, I think.

3 original graphic book stories set in the Dresden universe. I love this series, but Mr. Butcher doesn’t write them fast enough so I was excited to find these original stories to read while I wait for the next novel.

1) Ghoul Goblin. 2.6. Takes place after ‘Fool Moon’. 4 stars. After Carmichael is killed in a battle with werewolves, Dresden takes on a gruesome murder case in NW Missouri involving a family curse. I liked the Naga. It’s a sup I don’t come across very often.
2) War Cry. 7.6. After ‘Dead Beat’. 5 stars. A worldwide war has erupted between the White Council and the Red Court. The Council is losing so they call in Dresden. This is his first mission as a Warden and he and his team are sent to the middle of Iowa. Loved it. Very exciting and understandable.
3) Down Town. 9.7. After ‘White Night’. 5 sars. There is still war between the White Council and the Red Court. The Mobster leader of Chicago, Johnny Marcone has joined the fight. Now they’re up against a new enemy: a mucous nightmare from Undertown.

Footnote: 1) I like the way Dresden looks on the covers of the regular novels than he does in the graphic novels. Looks more rugged and less Hollywood. Like he’s been through a lot of hardship.

The artwork is good across these three stories, but the quality of the stories is very uneven. The first story, Ghoul Goblin, is ok; what I liked most about the story is that it has the feel of an early series case (before the Dresden Files became more about Harry's political place in the Dresdenverse, rather than about him being a PI wizard). The second story, War Cry, is excellent; I really like the focus on Thomas and the other wardens. The last story, Down Town, I'd read before this collection and did not particularly like because Marcone is very out of character. Overall it's an ok collection, but one I'm happy I borrowed rather than purchased. It's unlikely I would return to any story other than War Cry.

This volume includes 3 more stories of the Dresden Files Graphic Novel series. All three were original stories created specifically for this format and are tightly plotted suspense tales. The illustrations are fantastic. As I have mentioned in my reviews of the earlier books, I think that Dresden should have been drawn more like the NBA height, lean “beanpole” described in the early text novels. But the rest of the illustrations are spot on. Thomas is handsome, Molly is drawn like a tatted brick house, and Mouse is a behemoth.

The art was amazing and so were the stories. Of the three, my favorite for story was Down Town. Set after the events in White Night, it does a good job of showing how Dresden might be convinced the John Marcone was good for the city of Chicago and even trusting him. In some ways it makes you wonder about some things that happen between them in later novels.
If you bought this, you are likely a Dresden fan anyway, so you will certainly enjoy these installments.

A pair of great stories which bring the Cthulhu Mythos and the classic myth of the Golem of Prague into the Dresdenverse. Set during the war between the White Council and the Red Court Vampires, this omnibus does not disappoint!

Great Read!!!!

The first book of three was an one off of Dresden, but the artist is not my favorite. The story was good and introduces some powerful beings to meet Dresden for the frist time! Good read an lots of action.

I love the Dresden Files, but I don’t quite enjoy the graphic novels as much. Often because the artwork doesn’t look like i had expected it to look. Especially if I read the book before, the graphic novel often doesn’t quite live up to it.

I love seeing the Dresden files come to life especially in graphic novel form! These 3 graphic novels really expanded the universe and changed how I mentally pictured some characters! Love the Dresden files.

ok, better than the first omnibus but still not great. The art is fantastic, both of the artists are incredible and I'll look out for more of their work. The stories themselves are also great but the line level writing is poor and the lettering is full of spelling mistakes. Very odd mix.

I was kind of meh on the first omnibus because it was just graphic novel retelling of the first two novels, but this second omnibus was much more fun with new between-the-books stories.

I liked the artwork in this second volume better than the first. The dialog seemed a bit spotty at times, but for the most part it was a fun read.
