1. She creates sympathetic alpha heroes and their equally amazing women. There seems to always be a stunning yet painful history to each of them that is not only unique but allows for such clear character depth, development and growth.
2. She hatches a plot that sucks you in; grabs onto your heart; messes with your emotions; puts her characters through so much stress and pain that you want to leap into the book to provide comfort, support and retribution; and beautifully provides a happy ending that makes the chaos worthwhile.
3. I want to be Property of Jack Parrish!!

Wow, that was quite a ride! I am beyond thrilled to have found a new-to-me MC series that has it all. This isn’t a love story where the “hero” happens to ride. This isn’t a romance that wanders in and out of a clubhouse. This is a dark and gritty tale about a lifestyle and culture and family of men that live and breathe the road. It was sordid and tragic and pulled me into its depths. It was about being the person who didn’t wait around, but to strike the match and make life happen.
Deuce had me hooked from the very beginning, with his attitude of needing to be free like the wind and ultimately finding a place to land. And Ally stole my heart. From first meeting her as a junkie with eyes that held nothing but despair to becoming the survivor she was meant to be, I loved how these two damaged people kept the darkness at bay for one another.
My only complaint is actually my fault. This book is not a stand-alone. I came into this series with this book, and it took me a while to figure out the players and realize that I was missing a lot. I could still follow the story but I need to go back to the start and re-read Roamer after I’ve read the books in order to fully grasp the magnitude of all that took place. I want Cobra and Stryker’s histories. The story and writing was good enough that it deserved to have all of the details fully appreciated, not just merely enjoyed on the surface.
I have officially become Property of Parrish.
